  • Material change due to weather influences!
    Sun, UV rays, rain, relative humidity and temperatures have an impact on the material.
    There is a risk that the item may not be able to withstand the stated loads due to changes in the material, which therefore poses a risk of injury. Do not expose the item to unnecessarily long weather influences.

- It is essential to check that the item has been hung up correctly before use.

- Make sure that there is sufficient clearance of at least 1.5m from the sides of the hammock.

Assembly

Before assembling the item, check the mounts for sufficient stability or strength, in order to minimise the risk of injury.

  1. Stretch the item between two sturdy trees or other suspension options.

Note: Make sure that the distance between the two suspension options is no more than 4m (Fig. A).

Ensure that the lowest point of the item is no more than 60cm above the ground when loaded (Fig. A).

  1. To secure the tensioning ropes, use the loops as shown in Fig. B to prevent unintentional opening of the mountings. Wrap the tensioning ropes twice around the suspension option, e.g. a tree.

Note: Ensure that the loose end of each tensioning rope is at least 10cm, so that it cannot slip through the loops.

  1. If the straps of the items have loosened, fasten the self-securing loops again (Fig. C).

Ask someone to help you to climb in and out of the item, to minimise the risk of falling out.

  2. Balance the item with one hand.
  3. Carefully sit in the item, and balance it with your hand.
  4. Fully lie in the item.
