How do I open the kettle lid?

Press the lid release button (3) located on the handle. The lid will automatically hinge open.

What is the maximum water capacity?

The maximum capacity is 0.5 liters. Do not fill above the max line to avoid boiling water splashes.

Can I boil other liquids besides water?

No, this kettle is designed only for boiling water. Using it for other liquids may damage the appliance and void the warranty.

How do I descale the kettle?

Fill the jug with water and lemon juice (citric acid) or baking soda. Let it soak for an hour, then boil. Empty and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Repeat if necessary.

Why does the kettle turn off before the water boils?

The kettle has overheating protection and will turn off if empty or if the internal temperature rises too quickly. If this happens, let it cool for 15 minutes before refilling and restarting.

Is the kettle safe to use outdoors?

According to the manual, the kettle should not be used outdoors. It is intended for indoor domestic use only.

How do I store the kettle when not in use?

The kettle is foldable. To store, fold the silicone jug down to reduce height from 15.5 cm to 9.5 cm. This saves space, ideal for travel or camping.

Can children use this kettle?

INSTRUCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH USE SAFETY

Before use thoroughly read the operation manual. Extreme care is required in case of children presence in vicinity of the appliance!

Do not use your appliance for any other purpose except of its assignment.
Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other fluids.
Do not leave the appliance without supervision in course of its operation.

▶Always pull out the plug from the socket unless the appliance is used or before its cleaning.

- Do not use the appliance in case of its damage, also if its cord or plug is damaged – in such case the appliance should be handed over to an authorized service shop for repair.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

Do not hang the cord on any sharp edges and prevent any contact with hot surfaces.

Never fill the jar above the maximum level nor under the minimum level – boiling water splashes are possible in case of overfilled kettle

Prior to plugging the kettle to the mains, make sure it is off.

The kettle lid must be closed in course of water boiling.

Do not stand the appliance in vicinity of electric and gas cookers, burners, ovens etc.

The device is intended for domestic use only.

This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.

- Ensure that children do not play with the appliance.

- Store the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years of age.

Do not remove the plug from the mains by pulling by the cord.

If water gets to the internal electrical components, before plugging the kettle into the power outlet, dry it thoroughly.

Do not operate the kettle when empty.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system

Do not plug the power cord with wet hands.

- Allow the kettle to cool completely before cleaning.

- Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the pack aging readily accessible (i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).

BEFORE USE

1. The kettle should be placed upright of flat, stable and dry surfaces.
2. Prior to the first use, fill the kettle with water to max level, boil it, then empty and rinse with fresh water. Repeat it few times to remove production dust, etc.
3. The kettle will turn off automatically after water boiling. However it may be turned off by the user at any time by moving the "on/off" switch (5) to the off position, if necessary.
4. After water has been boiled or the kettle has been switched off, wait several seconds before switching it on again.
5. The empty kettle will be automatically turned off by its overheating protection system. In such case the kettle should be allowed to cool for 15 minutes before its refilling.

HOW TO USE THE KETTLE

1. Open the kettle's cover pushing the (3) button, pour water to a desired level (however, not less than 0,2 l and do not exceed the level of 0,5 l).
2. Pushing the button close the cover (2) accurately.
3. Turn on the cattle using the switch (5). The switch lamp comes on. When water starts boiling, the kettle turns off automatically and the switch light (5) comes off. Next, set the switch in its off position ("0").

IMPORTANT NOTE! Do not ever open the kettle lid in course of water boiling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE! The kettle should be regularly descaled in accordance with the instructions included below. Always unplug cord of power base before cleaning and allow the jar to cool down.

1. Fill the jug with water and lemon juice (citric acid) or baking soda.
2. Let the mixture soak in the kettle for an hour and boil the water thereafter.
3. Empty the kettle and rinse the inside thoroughly with cold.
4. Repeat this action up to three times, if necessary.
5. In order to eliminate the smell of vinegar, boil and remove water several times.
6. Wipe the jar inside and outside with a cloth.
7. Failure to descale your kettle may result in its damage.

WARNING! Never immerse the device in water or other liquids. This may result in electric shock or fire.

CAUTION! Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects. Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
