Warnings and Precautions
CAUTION: To prevent electric shock, match wide blade of plug to wide slot and fully insert into power outlet.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
CAUTION: Use of any controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those herein specified may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
WARNING: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
WARNING: Do not place this unit directly onto furniture surfaces with any type of soft, porous, or sensitive finish. As with any rubber compound made with oils, the feet could cause marks or staining where the feet reside. We recommend using a protective barrier such as a cloth or a piece of glass between the unit and the surface to reduce the risk of damage and/or staining.
WARNING: Use of this unit near fluorescent lighting may cause interference regarding use of the remote. If the unit is displaying erratic behavior move away from any fluorescent lighting.
CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
WARNING: The battery, batteries, and battery pack shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like.

Use only the main AC/DC power cord and adapter that came with the device. Device should be unplugged from the wall first, then the device itself.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc) batteries.
Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and local guidelines.

Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding - type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. When the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

Some pixels may be visible on the screen, appearing as tiny red, green, blue or black spots. This is normal and is not a defect on the TV nor does it negatively affect the performance.

Display
Press to view the on-screen display.
Aspect
Press to adjust the aspect ratio between WIDE, CINEMA, ZOOM, and NORMAL.
Picture
Press to adjust the picture between STANDARD, MOVIE, USER, and DYNAMIC. The user mode can be customized by accessing Picture Settings in the menu.
Volume ±
Press to adjust the volume.
Sound
Press to adjust the sound between STANDARD, MUSIC, MOVIE, USER, and SPORTS. The user mode can be customized by accessing Sound Settings in the menu.
Mute
Press to mute the volume.
Audio/CC
Press to adjust the current audio settings. In TV mode, press to turn closed captioning off or on.
Setup
Press to view the television setup menu.
Skip Back
Press to skip backward in Media Mode.

Connecting a TV Antenna
You will need: a antenna/cable wire (not included).
- Connect the Antenna wire to the input on the television.
- Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
- Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
- Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the CHANNEL icon. Press the Enter button.
- Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Air/Cable. Press the Arrow (◀▶) buttons to select AIR.
- Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight AUTO SCAN. Press the Enter button to begin scanning for available channels.

- Connect the Cable wire to the input on the television.
- Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.

You will need: a device that supports HDMI and a HDMI cable (not included).
- Connect the device's HDMI output to the HDMI input on the television.
- Power the television on and press the Source button to switch to the connected input HDMI.

You will need: composite (yellow) and RCA stereo (red, white) cables (not included).
- Connect the device's audio and video outputs to the corresponding audio and video inputs on the television.
- Power the television on and press the Source button to switch to the connected input AV Composite.

You will need: a PC with a VGA output, and a VGA cable (not included).
- Connect the computer's VGA output to the VGA/PC Input on the television.
- Power the television on and press the Source button to switch to the PC Mode.
- Audio from the connected PC can be input to the television through the TV's PC Audio Input by using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

PC AUDIO VIDEO INPUT VGA/PC IN MI UTConnecting Optical Audio
You will need: a receiver with a Digital Optical Input and a Digital Optical Audio Cable (not included).
- Connect the Digital Optical Audio Cable from the Optical Output on the television to Input on the receiver.
- Set the receiver to accept the Optical Input source from the television.
Please note: home theater systems may label the Digital Optical Out source differently, such as "PCM", or "Digital Audio Input". Please consult your home theater system's user manual in order to select the correct input source.

- Load a USB thumb drive into the USB Port as shown in the image to the right.
- Press the Source button to switch to Media mode.
- Use the Arrow and Enter buttons to select and play content from the connected USB thumb drive.
Note: This unit does not support software to play video files.

Auto Scanning for Channels
The Auto Channel Scan must be run before any channels can be viewed on the television.
- Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
- Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
- Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the CHANNEL icon. Press the Enter button.
- Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Air/Cable. Press the Arrow (◀▶) buttons to select AIR.
- Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight Auto Scan. Press the Enter button to begin scanning for available channels.
Note: Initial channel scanning process may take up to 15 min.
Parental Controls (V-Chip)
- Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
- Press the Setup button.
- Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons, highlight LOCK, and press the Enter button.
- Enter the default passcode to access the LOCK preferences. The default passcode is 0 0 0 0.
- From this menu, you can lock specific ratings from the United States rating system or the Canadian rating system by accessing the V-CHIP settings. You can also lock the buttons on the television or lock specific sources from access.
Setting Favorites
- Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
- Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
- Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the CHANNEL icon. Press the Enter button.
- Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight the Favorites icon. Press the Enter button.
- Use the Arrow (▼▲) buttons to select the desired channels and then press the Enter button.
Viewing Favorites
- Press the Source button to switch to TV mode.
- Press the Favorites button to view a list of your saved favorites.
Setting the Clock
- Press the Setup button to access the setup menu.
- Press the Arrow (◀ ▶) buttons to highlight the TIME icon. Press the Enter button.
- Press the Arrow (▲▼) buttons to highlight TIME ZONE. Press the Arrow (◀▶) buttons to select your current time zone.
- Press the Arrow(▼▲) buttons to highlight AUTO CLOCK. Press the Arrow(◀▶) buttons to turn auto clock off and on.
When the correct time zone is set, auto clock will automatically set your clock and date for you. - To set the time and date manually, turn auto clock off, highlight CLOCK, and use the Arrow and Enter buttons to manually set the time and date.
Mounting to a Wall

• 100mm x 100mm spacing (ht. x wth.)
- M4 bolt pattern and thread pitch A 10 to 15mm long bolt is recommended, depending on the thickness of the wall bracket selected.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND HAVING THIS TELEVISION MOUNTED PROFESSIONALLY.
