Frequently Asked Questions - AAC9000 BESTRON

How to install my Bestron AAC9000 air conditioner?
Place the unit near a window or door. Extend the hot air exhaust hose to the outside. Plug the power cord into a 230V socket. Turn on the unit and select the desired mode. Refer to the manual for more details.
What is the power consumption of the Bestron AAC9000?
The cooling power is 9000 BTU/h, i.e. approximately 2.6 kW. The exact consumption depends on the setting and ambient temperature. On average, expect 800 to 1000 W during operation.
How to clean the filter of my air conditioner?
Turn off and unplug the unit. Open the front panel, remove the filter. Wash it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent, dry it completely before reinstalling. Clean it every two weeks for optimal performance.
My air conditioner is not cooling enough, what should I do?
Check that the filter is clean, that the exhaust hose is not blocked, and that the door/window is closed. Make sure the unit is not exposed to direct sunlight. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
Can I use the Bestron AAC9000 at night?
Yes, it has a night or silent mode that reduces the noise level and adjusts the temperature for optimal comfort during sleep. The noise level is about 50 dB in silent mode.
How to empty the water tank of my air conditioner?
The Bestron AAC9000 has a partial auto-evaporation system. In high humidity, it may be necessary to manually empty the tank. Locate the drain plug at the rear, place a container underneath, remove the plug and let the water drain out.
What is the maximum recommended area for this air conditioner?
For a power of 9000 BTU, it is recommended for rooms up to 25 m² (about 65 m³). Beyond that, efficiency decreases.
The remote control no longer works, what should I do?
Check the batteries, replace them if necessary. Make sure no obstacles block the signal between the remote and the receiver. If the problem persists, you can order a replacement remote control.
My air conditioner displays an error code, what does it mean?
Error codes vary by model. Consult the user manual for the exact meaning. Generally, code E1 indicates a temperature sensor problem, E2 a humidity sensor problem, etc. Contact customer service if needed.
How to maintain my air conditioner at the end of the season?
Clean the filter and the housing, empty the water tank, and let the unit dry completely. Store it in a dry, dust-free place. Cover it if possible.
