To avoid danger to life from electric shock

Before connecting the lamp to the mains, always check it and the mains lead / plug for any damage. Never use your lamp if you discover that it is damaged in any way.

WARNING!

To prevent hazards, if the external flexible lead on this light is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service representative or an equally qualified professional.

■ Never let the lamp come into contact with water or other liquids.

- Do not install the lamp on damp if conductive surfaces.

■ Never open any electrical devices such as switches, fittings etc. or allow any object to be inserted into them. This sort of interference can lead to a serious danger to life from electric shock.

■ Touch only the insulated part of the plug when connecting to or disconnecting from the mains supply.

Before installation ensure that the available mains voltage agrees with the operating voltage required for the lamp (see „Technical Data“).

To avoid danger of fire and injury

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE TO HOT SURFACES!

Ensure the lamp has been switched off and allowed to cool before you touch it. In this way you will avoid the danger of burns. Light bulbs develop a great deal of heat.

Do not allow any objects to cover the lamp. Fire can result from the development of too much heat.
■ Position the lamp so that it is protected from moisture and dirt.
■ Never leave the light unattended whilst in operation. Excessive heat can result in a fire.
Do not look directly into the light source (light bulb, LED etc.).
Do not look at the LED with an optical instrument (e.g. magnifier).

• To disconnect the light completely from the power supply, the mains plug must be disconnected from the mains socket.
  The illuminant in this light is not replaceable; if the illuminant reaches the end of its life, replace the entire light.

☐ Connect the mains plug 3 to the mains socket (Fig. V). Ensure that the light is secure and stable (Fig. I–III).

☐ Do not install the light on damp or conductive surfaces. (Fig. IV).

Using the lamp
☐ Turn the light on and off with the ON/OFF switch 2.

WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Switch the light off using the ON / OFF cord switch 2. Before cleaning, always pull out the mains plug 3 out of the socket.

Do not use solvents such as petrol and the like as they could damage the lamp.
For electrical safety reasons, never clean the lamp with water or other fluids or immerse it in water.
☐ Only clean with a dry, lint-free cloth.
☐ The lamp is maintenance-free.
☐ Connect the mains plug 3 to the mains socket.

Your light is now ready to use.

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7: plastics / 20-22: paper and fibre-board/80-98: composite materials.

The product and packaging materials are recyclable, dispose of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of the product properly when it has reached the end of its useful life and not in the household waste. Information on collection points and their opening hours can be obtained from your local authority.
