- Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. The instructions for use are part of the product. They contain important information concerning safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, please familiarise yourself with all of the safety information and instructions for use. Only use the unit as described and for the specified applications. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

This light is suitable for indoor use only. The product is not intended for commercial use.

RISK OF ACCIDENTS FOR INFANTS AND
CHILDREN! Never leave children unattended with the packaging material. The packaging material represents a danger of suffocation. Children frequently underestimate the dangers. Please keep children away from the product at all times.
This appliance may be used by children age 8 years and up, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lacking experience and/or knowledge, so long as they are supervised or instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the associated risks. Children should not be allowed to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.

Avoid the danger of death from electric shock!
■ Never allow the appliance to come into contact with water or other liquids.
Before using the product, ensure that the available mains voltage corresponds with the required operating voltage for the device (230V\~).
■ Always check the appliance and the mains supply for damage before connecting it to the mains. A damaged device represents the danger of death from electric shock.
Do not use the device if you detect any damage.
The power cable cannot be repaired! Should the cable be damaged, the product must be rendered useless and must be disposed off appropriately.

Prevent fire and injury hazards

RISK OF BURNS! Ensure that the luminaire has been switched off and has cooled before touching it, to avoid burn injuries.

CAUTION! RISK OF FIRE! Never expose the magnifier to direct sunlight or other light sources. Never leave an open magnifier unattended. Doing so presents a fire hazard due to bundled light rays and concentrated heat.
The product may only be used with the built-in LED control gear.
The illuminant is not replaceable.
If the illuminant fails at the end of its life, the entire light must be replaced.
The product continues to draw a small amount of power even if the lamp is off as long as product is connected to supply mains. To switch the device off completely, the mains switch should be switched off.
Please note the lamp is not dimmable.

Before use
☐ Insert the screw clamp into the bracket 1 (Fig. A). Secure the screw clamp into the bracket using the lock screw 3 (Fig. B).
Now place the screw clamp onto a table top ≤ 6 cm in thickness and secure the screw clamp by turning the screw clockwise (Fig. C).
☐ Insert the articulated arm 7 into the round hole on the bracket and secure by tightening the wing bolt 5 clockwise (Fig. D). Verify the articulated arm is firmly tightened in the bracket.
● Using the LED magnifier light
☐ Plug the mains plug of the light into a properly installed socket.
□MovetheON/OFF switch 9 into the I position to switch the light on.
☐ Move the ON/OFF switch into the 0 position to switch the light off.
- Adjusting the LED magnifier light
☐ Never use force when adjusting the light.
☐ The light can be adjusted in different ways:
- The lamp head is pivot-mounted inside the ball joint 8 (Fig. E).
- After loosening the lock screw 6 you can adjust the lamp head up or down. Tighten the lock screw after adjusting the light to the desired position.
- The individual parts of the articulated arm 7 can be moved by the joints 4.
• Using the magnifier
☐ Lift the cover 10 to use the magnifier.
☐ Focus the object you wish to view by changing the distance to the object and the distance between your eyes and the magnifier.
IMPORTANT: Keep the cover closed when the magnifier is not in use. Please note, an open magnifier always poses a fire hazard as light rays bundled by the magnifier can generate concentrated heat or a fire.
- Cleaning and Care

CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE FROM ELECTRIC
SHOCK! For electrical safety, never clean the light with water or other liquids, or immerse it in water.
■ Switch the light off before cleaning and unplug from the mains.
☐ Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
- Disposal
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials, which may be disposed of through your local recycling facilities.

Never dispose of the product and the bulb in your regular household rubbish.
Dispose of the product and light bulb through an authorised waste management company or your municipal disposal facilities.
Observe the applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
- Warranty
The device has been manufactured to strict quality guidelines and meticulously examined before delivery. In the event of product defects you have legal rights against the retailer of this product. Your legal rights are not limited in any way by our warranty detailed below.
The warranty for this device is 3 years from the date of purchase. Should this device show any fault in materials or manufacture within 3 years from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace it – at our choice – free of charge to you.
The warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Please keep the original sales receipt in a safe location. This document is required as your proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if the device has been damaged or improperly used or maintained.
The warranty applies to faults in material or manufacture. This warranty does not cover product parts subject to normal wear, thus possibly considered consumables (e.g. batteries) or for damage to fragile parts, e.g. switches, rechargeable batteries or glass parts.
