Frequently Asked Questions - RVP50 ARDA

How do I use the child lock function?
After starting the machine, press the FUNCTION and WATER LEVEL buttons simultaneously. The 'Child Lock' indicator will appear, and all buttons (including Power) will be locked. 'CL' will flash every 5 seconds. To unlock, press the same two buttons again.
Can I set a delayed start?
Yes. Power on the machine, select wash settings, then press the DELAY button. Each press adds 1 hour up to 24 hours, then 6 hours per press up to 48 hours. Pressing and holding increments faster. After setting, close the lid and press START/PAUSE. To cancel, press POWER.
What should I do if the washing machine does not drain?
Check whether the drain hose is kinked or jammed. Straighten the hose and ensure it is not blocked. Also verify that the drain hose is properly installed into the drain. If the problem persists, the machine may display error code E4.
How do I clean the lint filter?
After each use, remove the lint filter (located inside the tub), wash it clean under running water, then reinstall it firmly. Regular cleaning prevents blockages and maintains washing performance.
What does error code E3 mean?
Error code E3 indicates an unbalanced cycle alarm. The machine has attempted to adjust the load balance twice but failed. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes evenly, close the lid, and restart. If the issue continues, the alarm will sound again.
How do I install the water inlet hose?
Attach the universal connector to the tap with the locking ring, then plug the hose into the connector. Pull the hose downward to ensure it is secure. Connect the other end to the water inlet valve on the machine. Open the tap and check for leaks before first use.
Can I use hot water in this washing machine?
You can select Warm or Cold water using the Temperature button. However, do not use water hotter than 50°C to avoid deformation of plastic parts. The machine automatically mixes hot and cold water when both lights are on.
What should I do if the drum does not spin?
Ensure the lid is closed completely. The machine will not spin if the lid is open. Also check if an unbalanced load is detected; the machine may add water to rebalance. If the lid is closed and the machine still won't spin, refer to troubleshooting or contact service.
How do I use the soak function?
Press the FUNCTION button until SOAK+WASH+RINSE+SPIN is selected. During the soak phase, the pulsator will operate intermittently to help detergent penetrate clothes. After soak, the normal wash cycle continues.
What is the memory backup feature?
If a power outage occurs during a cycle, the machine remembers the program stage. When power is restored, it will resume from the step before the interruption. If you prefer not to continue, press the POWER button to reset.
