- Only plug the mixer into an easily accessible socket so that you can quickly disconnect it from the mains in the event of a fault.
- Do not operate the mixer if it is visibly damaged or if the mains cord/plug is defective.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified professional perform the repairs. Contact a specialist workshop for this. Liability and warranty claims will be rejected in the event of repairs performed by the user, improper connection or incorrect operation.
- Only parts that comply with the original device data may be used for repairs. Electrical and mechanical parts, which are essential for providing protection against sources of danger, are located in this appliance.
- In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
- Never place the mixer, the mains cord or the mains plug in water or in any other liquid.
- Never touch the mains plug with damp hands.
- Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the mains
cord; always hold the mains plug itself.
- Never use the mains cord as a carrying strap.
- Keep the mixer, mains plug and mains cord away from open flames and hot surfaces.
- Lay the mains cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
- Do not kink the mains cord or lay it over sharp edges.

- Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
- There is a potential injury from misuse. Please handle it with care.

Correct mixing method
Your appliance uses two mixing methods:
- Permanent operation at two levels. Suitable for most foods. If the food to be blended is very heavy, take a break after 30 seconds. Depending on the qualities of the ingredients, switching the appliance on and off may lead to the desired result.
– Pulse operation.
Suitable if the food to be blended is hard, such as nuts and ice cubes (max. 8 pieces).
The mixer will only work when the adjustment dial is set to 'P'.
Blending
- Remove the lid (2) with the refilling cup (1).
- Add the ingredients to the smoothie cup (3).
- Take note of the measurement scale on the smoothie cup. (The maximum fill quantity is 1500 ml or approx. 8 ice cubes.)
- Put the lid including the measuring cup back on. Ensure it is correctly positioned.
- Completely unwind the mains cord (9).
- Insert the mains plug into a properly installed socket.
- Turn the adjustment dial (8) to the desired level.
– for a maximum of 30 seconds at the desired level ‘1’ or ‘2’ (continuous operation) or – hold the adjusting dial for a few seconds on position ‘P’ (pulse operation).
- Repeat the process until the food in the smoothie cup is of the desired consistency. Note the short operation time of a maximum of 2 minutes.

If required you can refill ingredients or liquids through the refilling opening in the lid.
- Pausing the mixing operation.
- Remove (1) the refilling cup.
