How do I pair the speaker via Bluetooth?

Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth mode. On your device, search for 'HSB602BT_CALIBER' in the Bluetooth menu. Select it and wait for a voice confirmation and the Bluetooth LED to stay on.

Can I use a wired connection instead of Bluetooth?

Yes, connect an external device (e.g., MP3 player) to the stereo RCA input on the active speaker. Note: Bluetooth always overrules the wired input; disconnect any Bluetooth devices first.

What is the water resistance rating?

The speaker is IPX6 rated, meaning it can withstand powerful water jets. However, you must install the provided backside connection covers to achieve this protection.

How do I connect the passive speaker?

Use the included 3.5m speaker cable to connect the active speaker's output terminals (marked +/-) to the passive speaker's input terminals. Ensure correct polarity.

Can I mount the speakers on a wall?

Yes, the speakers come with wall mounting brackets. Secure the bracket with 3 screws to a solid surface, then attach the speaker using the ball joint. Use the hex key to adjust the angle.

What is the maximum power output?

The amplifier delivers 2 x 35W maximum power, and 2 x 17.5W RMS. This powers both the active and passive speakers.

How do I adjust the sound?

Use the treble and bass controls on the active speaker. Turning right increases the level, left decreases, with a range of ±10dB.

What should I do if the speaker doesn't turn on?

Check the power cord connection and wall outlet. Ensure the power switch is set to ON. If it still doesn't work, return it to an authorized Caliber dealer for repair.

Can I use the speaker outdoors?

Yes, with proper installation. When mounting outdoors, angle the speaker at least 30° downward to prevent moisture ingress, and ensure the connection covers are securely in place.

How do I clean the speaker?

Use a soft dry cloth for regular cleaning. For stubborn stains, slightly dampen the cloth with water only. Avoid solvents or harsh chemicals.

Turn off the device immediately in case of a problem.

Failure to do so may cause personal injury or damage to the product. Return it to your authorized Caliber Europe BV dealer for repairing.

Product cleaning.

Use a soft dry cloth for periodic cleaning of the product. For more severe stains, please dampen the cloth with water only. Anything else has the chance of dissolving the paint or damaging the plastic.

Temperature.

Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 0°C and +45°C before turning on the device.

Maintenance.

If you have problems, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself. Return it to your Caliber Europe BV dealer for servicing.

Placement.

Place the product on a flat surface. Provide enough space around the product for sufficient ventilation.

Usage.

Keep the product away from humidity and/or water (or other liquid). Do not locate the appliance in the vicinity of a heat surface or in direct sunlight.

Voltage.

Check the main voltage indicated on the adapter/product rating label in accordance to the local electricity supply, if it doesn't, return the product to the store where you bought it.

Plug.

Remove the plug from the outlet, when the product is unused for a long period of time and during thunderstorms.

Use only supplied accessories.

The HSB 602BT set contains:

• one passive speaker (R)

Installation

The speakers come with wall mounting brackets and through ball joint can be properly adjustable afterwards (use the provided hex key to lose/fasten the joint).

For wall or ceiling installation, make sure the surface is solid and secure the bracket with 3 screws.

By installing the speakers outdoors or in a damp location, make sure the angle of the speaker is at least 30 degrees (see image). To prevent moisture ingress.

Connection

The active speaker is the left one of the stereo set. This speaker must be connected to a 120-240V wall outlet using the provided 1.8m power cord.

The passive speaker is the right one of the stereo set and must be connected to the active speaker (7) with the provide 3.5m speaker cable (or with a speaker cable with the same (mm ^2 ) specifications).

Bluetooth connection

• Turn ON the speaker, a voice will be heard.
  • The speaker is automatically in Bluetooth mode.
• Set your Bluetooth device to 'Search' using the devices' Bluetooth menu.
• Choose 'HSB602BT_CALIBER' from the list.
• When the devices are paired successfully, a voice will be heard and the Bluetooth indication LED will be ON.
• You're ready to start playing music on your device.

Note: To allow signal transmission, the Bluetooth signal source must support the A2DP profile.

AUX-IN:

For the optional wired connection you can connect an external device e.g. MP3/MP4 player to the line-in (9) of the active speaker (cable not included).

Note: that if you want to use an external device through the line-in you have to make sure no devices are connected by Bluetooth. A Bluetooth connection will always overrule the line-in input.
