In order to obtain utmost output from your appliance, please read carefully this user's manual and save it for further use.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the Arzum Paninaro Grill and Sandwich Maker corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. Our company shall not be held liable for any failures owing to any discrepancy and such failures shall not be covered by the guarantee.
- Your device is for household use only. Do not use outdoors for commercial or industrial purposes.
- To prevent harming your appliance do not use extension cords that supply insufficient current. - Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and person with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been givensupervision of instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of the children less than 8 years.
Do not place the Arzum Paninaro Grill and Sandwich Maker over or near direct heat sources such as a stove or heating oven.
Do not let cord hang over edge of a table or counter, or touch any other appliances or hot surfaces.
- Place the unit on a flat and fixed surface, which would be resistant to heat.
• After having used, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and allow it to cool down; move only after it has completely cooled down.
- When not in use and before cleaning, disconnect the mains plug from power outlet.
- Never operate the appliance without cooking plate(s) attached.
- NEVER immerse the appliance into water for cleaning or any other purposes; do not let any water / water steam leak into the unit.
Do not touch metal parts when in use.
- Avoid actions that may harm or damage the cord or plug of your device. To unplug the appliance, first hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, such as by dropping down, etc. Do not attempt to repair it by yourself. Immediately contact an Arzum Authorized Service.
• Use your appliance as recommended.
SUGGESTIONS OF USE
- You can use your Arzum Paninaro Grill and Sandwich Maker for various purposes such as warming and cooking foods, grilling, making sandwiches, and toasting.
- Owing to its adjustable temperature setting button and pilot light, this unit operates safely, prevents overheating, and keeps the cooking
surface at constant temperature selected, ensuring the proper cooking on time.
- You can remove the single-sided non-stick granite cooking plates of your appliance by depressing the clips slightly.

Then, attach the cooking plates to their place. A click sound will indicate that the edges have been fitted well onto the cooking surface.
• We recommend you to oil the surfaces slightly, before using for the first time.
- Connect the mains plug to the power outlet and set the variable temperature button to the maximum level. You may notice a slight smoke or odor. This is normal and will not recur after a while.

SETTING TEMPERATURE
- Your turning the temperature setting stages so that they will stand against the temperature indication, according to the process to be
made, would be sufficient for you to set the temperature range.

- Plug your appliance to the socket, set the variable temperature button to a proper position for cooking settings indicated on your appliance, and preheat the unit. When the thermostat / pilot light go off, your appliance
reaches the necessary temperature.
- Butter the outside of the toast or sandwich breads and gently close the lid.
The length of cooking time depends on the case, filling and personal taste. Your sandwich maker cooks on both sides at a time.
It is not necessary to butter the outsides of all breads as the sandwich maker/grill has non-stick granite cooking plates.

- Set the variable temperature control to the appropriate position, and preheat the unit.
- Place the foods to the lower cooking surface and close the upper cover onto the foods.
- You are not required to turn the foods in the double-sided grill.
• After the desired amount of time the food should be done.
- Carefully open the lid and collect and take the foods in the plate using a wooden spatula.

- Set the variable temperature control to the appropriate position, and preheat the unit.
- Place the foods to be cooked in the lower cooking surface.
• Pull the upper cover in the upright position, and open by 90°.
- Grilling may be done with your appliance's upper cover opened and not touching the upper cover.
• Turn and collect the foods in the plate using a wooden spatula.

In order to increase the cooking area in picnics and parties open the upper cover towards back by 180^ , so you can provide a wide surface for cooking.
• Pull the upper cover in the upright position, and adjust the upper leg pins to the top point of the lower leg pins. In this case you can open the upper cover by 180°.
- Set the variable temperature control to the appropriate position, and preheat the unit.
- You can place the foods in both surfaces, use both of them at the same time, and make your grills easily.

NOTE:
The light is thermostatically controlled and will cycle during cooking to ensure that the correct temperature is maintained.
WARNING:
1- NEVER touch the outer surfaces of the unit as they heat up during operation. Use the handle to open the upper cover. Vapor may come out from between the heating plates of your equipment when the upper cover is opened or during the cooking process. Be careful when taking out the foods.
2- Carefully open the lid and remove the foods using plastic or wooden utensils to avoid damaging the non-stick coating. Never use metal tongs, forks or a knife as these can damage the coating.
CLEANING & CARE
Before cleaning and care, unplug the appliance from the wall socket and allow it to cool down.
• After each use, wipe cooking plates to protect the cooking surfaces coated with the non-stick material.
- Remove the cooking plates by slightly twisting outwards the clips holding the surfaces.
- Rinse cooking plates with a soft cloth or
plastic brush, or wash using warm water and soap, or wash in a dishwasher.
• Some resistance trays may occur due to the temperature on the cooking plates. To prevent this it is sufficient for you to wash the plates.
Do not use abrasive materials such as metal brush or steel wool as this will scratch the non-stick coating.
• After having removed the cooking plates, you can wipe the resistance and heat-reflector trays with a slightly damp cloth.
- You can wipe the plastic compounds and outer metal parts with a soaped cloth and then dry it completely.
- You can store your appliance in the upright position, by using its automatic security latch.
NEVER immerse into water, except for the cooking plates.
