Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Electric appliances are not toys for children! Therefore, use and store the appliance away from the reach of children. Children do not recognize the danger involved with handling an electric appliance. Do not let the power cord dangle from the appliance.. Keep packaging films away from children - danger of suffocation!

When using an electric appliance, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury including the following:

The appliance is only to be used for the purposes described in these instructions:
- Using electrical equipment can be dangerous. Please read the instructions carefully before use.
- Use the appliance only on the voltage specified on the identification plate.
- Use only on a dry, anti-slip, level surface.
- Never allow the heating base or the kettle to make contact with or be immersed in water.
However, if it happens, have the unit examined by authorized Fakir services.
- In the case of obvious damage to the appliance or the cable, please connect with an authorized Fakir Service.
- If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by an authorized Fakir Service in order to avoid a hazard.
• Always remove the plug from the wall socket before cleaning. - When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord.

Children do not realize the dangers associated with electrical appliances. Never allow children to play with electrical equipment without supervision.

Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing nor insert any metal objects into the interior of the appliance.
- To prevent damage to the power cord, do not let it pass over sharp corners or edges.
- Do not expose the appliance to rain or moisture and do not operate the appliance outdoors or with wet hands.
• The appliance gets hot during use. Touch only the handles. - The boiler gets hot during use. Therefore do not touch the appliance except the handle.
- Do not fill to above the mark "MAX", because there is danger that the water could boil over.
- Never switch on the appliance when its lid is open.
- Only suitable for water—never put other liquids in the jug kettle.
- Repairs to electrical equipment may only be carried out by an authorized Fakir Service. Repairs, which are improperly carried out, can result in considerable danger for user.
You do not attempt to open a hole or slit on-off buttons of the kettle - Clean it's lime regularly
- The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.

Unpacking and first use
Unpack the device and check the content of the packaging for completeness. Should you note any damage incurred during transit, please contact your dealer immediately.

WARNING!
Never use a defective appliance.

NOTICE!
Keep the packaging for storage and future transports (e.g. for moves, service).
- Please read the instructions carefully before use.
• Completely unroll the cable.
- Throw away the first lot of water after boiling.
- Remove all packing material and stickers.
- Place the heating base on a firm and level surface.
- Pour the desired amount of clean water into the kettle, Do not touch any part of the kettle except the handle when the appliance is in use, and ensure that the lid is properly closed.
- The amount of water can be measured by the level mark on the outside of the kettle, Always pay attention to the minimum and maximum levels and ensure that the lid is properly and firmly closed.
- Position the kettle in such a way on the base that the underside of the kettle fits precisely into the contact on the base.
- Insert the plug into a wall socket.
- Put the water till below the MAX Sign.
- Put the on/off switch to its 'ON' position to start the heating process. The indicator lamp will light up.
- As soon as the water reaches boiling point, the on/off switch return automatically to the OFF position, the indicator lamp will go out. The water kettle can also be switched off manually by putting the on/off switch to the OFF position.
- The hot water may now be poured safely through the spout into another container, safety cut – out.
- This kettle is equipped with a safety cut –out to protect the appliance from damage in case of inappropriate use, should the appliance be accidentally operated without water or if all the water has evaporated the safety cut out will automatically switch off the heating element
- In such a case remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and refill the kettle only after an adequate cooling down period, about 15-20 seconds.

ATTENTION!
Never fill the kettle to above the MAX sign. Otherwise water might leak from the kettle.

ATTENTION!
Water might leak if you lay back the device more then 30^ . therefore pls make sure you do not lay back the kettle when there is a water inside.
Decalcifying
- Should the appliance switch off before reaching boiling point this is a sign that decalcifying is necessary.
- Cover the heating elements with vinegar and water (2/3 water and 1/3 vinegar), Boil 2 or 3 times. Pour out the water.
- Do not fill the kettle to the upper mark to avoid spillage if the descaling agent causes the water to foam.
- To clean the kettle thoroughly of any decalcification residues let it go through several boiling cycles using clean water with each cycle, Rinse the kettle with clean water afterwards.
Cleaning and Care
- Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely..
- Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
- Do not immerse the base or the kettle in any liquid, to clean the exterior, a slightly damp, lint-free cloth may be used.
- It is advisable to remove lime deposits from the kettle at regular intervals.
If at once you don't succeed

If the service life of the device has ended, in particular if functional disturbances occur, make the worn-out device unusable by cutting through the power cable.
Dispose of the device according to the environmental regulations applicable in your country.
Electrical waste must not be disposed of together with household waste. Bring the worn-out device to a collection center. The packaging of the device consists of recycling-capable materials. Place these, sorted out according to material, in the collectors provided, so that recycling can be carried out on them.
For advice on recycling, refer to your local authority or your dealer.
