How do I safely assemble the blender for chopping?

Place the work bowl on a flat surface, insert the accessory holder on the centering spindle, then add the stainless steel blade. Place the transparent intermediate lid, then the locked work bowl lid and lock the latches until you hear a 'click'. Finally, attach the motor part and turn clockwise until it clicks. Do not operate if any part is not properly locked.

What is the Turbo button used for?

The Turbo button provides pulse operation and maximum power. It is ideal for tough ingredients like ice or hard foods. Press in short intervals for best results.

Can I wash the motor body in the dishwasher?

No, never immerse the motor body in water or other liquids. Clean the outside with a slightly damp cloth. The chopper bowl, stainless steel blade, and beaters can be washed in the upper rack of a dishwasher.

What should I do if the blender does not start?

Ensure the bowl lid is correctly locked (you hear a 'click') and the motor part is securely attached. The appliance will not operate if these parts are not properly placed. Check the power connection.

What is the maximum operation time for the blender?

The device is designed for a maximum of 10 seconds of continuous operation. After each cycle, let it cool for about 1 minute before using again.

How do I remove the work bowl lid after use?

First, remove the motor part by pressing the motor part locking button and turning. Then press the lid locking latches opening buttons to release the lid. Never try to remove the lid without opening the latches.

Is the blender safe for crushing ice?

In order to obtain utmost output from your appliance, please read carefully this user's manual and save it for further use.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the Arzum Hestia Multi Blender Set corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. Our company shall not be held liable for any failures owing to any discrepancy and such failures shall not be covered by the guarantee.

- Your device is for household use only. It should not be used for commercial or industrial purposes. Otherwise, inconvenient uses shall not be covered by the guarantee.

- Keep the appliance away from and out of the reach of children.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning;

- Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision.

- To prevent harming your appliance do not use extension cords that supply insufficient current.

Do not place your appliance over or near direct heat sources such as hot gas, electric burner, or heating oven.

Do not let cord hang over edge of a table or counter, or touch any other appliances.

- NEVER operate your unit without putting foods inside of the bowl or on wet surfaces. Otherwise, this may result in damage to your appliance.

Do not put foods over the recommended amount; otherwise your appliance may be damaged.

- Be certain that work bowl lid is securely locked in place before operating your appliance. Do not deactivate the locking mechanism via other tools.

- When carrying or washing, take care to hold the mixing and cutting blades of your appliance from the correct side, as they are very sharp. Otherwise, they may cause serious injuries.

- When operating your unit NEVER use your fingers or forks, knives, spoons, etc. in order to move foods. Use only pusher accessory for such purpose.

- Avoid from touching any moving parts when in use. Do not keep your hands, hairs, clothes, or any tools closer

- NEVER attach to your appliance any accessories belonging to other appliances.

- Avoid actions that may harm or damage the cord or plug of your appliance. Do not carry your appliance by holding from the cord. To unplug, hold the plug and do not pull by the cord.

Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord, plug or accessories, or after it has been dropped down or malfunctions in any manner. In such case, take it to the nearest Arzum Authorized Service for any necessary examinations and repair. The plug and cord must be replaced by the authorized service.
- NEVER use any parts on your appliance, which parts not produced or recommended by the manufacturer firm, since they may result in, fire, electrical shock or injury.
- Before dismantling any accessory from your appliance ensure that its engine is completely stopped.
- ALWAYS unplug from outlet when not in use, or before putting in or taking out accessories, or during maintenance and cleaning.
- NEVER operate your appliance an empty bowl or outdoors. This may cause damaging to your appliance.
Do not operate your appliance for long periods; use it for shorter periods rather.
• Use your appliance for its intended purposes as recommended.

Notes:

1- Your appliance could not operate for your personal safety reasons unless the bowl lid is properly fixed and locked on its place.
2- For removing the motor part firstly press the motor part locking button and then turn the motor part and remove it.
3- You cannot remove the work bowl lid unless the motor part is removed from its place. For removing the work bowl lid, firstly remove the motor part, then press the lid locking latches opening buttons and remove the lid. NEVER try to remove the lid if you do not open the latches.

SUGGESTIONS OF USE

Before using Arzum Hestia Multi Blender Set read "Cleaning and Care" part and rinse the accessories of your appliance which can be washed carefully with tepid water and dry them. NEVER immerse the main body into water or other liquids, wipe the outside with a slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
- Operate it with the shorter periods when in "Turbo" (operation with short and interrupted intervals) position when operating your appliance. The foods which you want to cut, mix or beat will be mixed better and cut in the same sizes.

WARNING: Your appliance is designed to operate for up to 10 sec. Ensure not to exceed this duration when preparing foods. Otherwise your unit may be damaged. Allow your appliance to cool down for about 1 minute per every operation of 10 seconds.

STAINLESS STEEL SERRATED BLADE

• Serrated stainless blade preserves sharpness longer than standard blades due to its special designed serrated shape and hardened steel.
• Serrated blade design, by comparison with standard 2 blade blenders, enables more efficient, practical and long usage even for challenging ice or harsh food breaking tasks.

TuRBo BuTToN

The TURBO button will provide the opportunity of pulse working and maximum power usage. You can obtain the desired result easier particularly in the beating process by means of the turbo function.
- Press the button with shorter intervals when using the turbo function.

CHoPPING WITH WoRK BoWL

• After place the work bowl on a plate surface then fix the accessory holder on the centering spindle located in the bowl.
- Remove the zirconium blade for cutting from its case, and insert it on the accessory holder.
- Place the foods to be cut inside of the bowl ensuring that the foods will be of the equivalent level and without piling up. Do not put foods over

the recommended amount; otherwise your appliance may be damaged.

• Place the transparent intermediate lid on the work bowl. Then place the locked work bowl lid and lock the latches. You can hear a "click" sound if they are properly locked.
• Place the motor part on its place and turn it clockwise until it fits well in

WARNING: Your appliance does not operate if the bowl lid and motor part are not placed properly.

• Connect the mains plug to the wall socket.
• You can start the operation by means of pressing the Turbo button which is located on the motor body or pressing the start button.
• "TURBO" button located in the side panel allows you to exercise a pulse operation and maximum power. By using this turbo function you can not only obtain good results in a respectively simple way especially in cutting processes, but also extend the life cycle of your appliance.
  Before operating your appliance, remove the seeds of those fruits such as peaches, apricots, plums, etc., and peel those dried fruits/nuts such as almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc. Meat to be processed must be boneless, free from fats or sinews.

WARNING:

1- In case of controlling or finishing the work when operating your appliance, do not separate the main boy and the chopper adapter before stopping the motor completely and unplugging the appliance.
2- For remove the chopped foods, firstly remove the blade with accessory holder.

GRATING AND SLICING WITH THE WoRK BoWL

• After place the work bowl on a plate surface then fix the accessory holder on the centering spindle located in the bowl.
- For slicing or grating process, keep the holder disc in such position with the disc side facing upwards, and first place the protruding part of the selected grating or slicing blade and then

push on the other side slightly. (To remove grating or slicing blade from the disc, slightly push from downward.) If your blade is in alignment with the surface of the holder disc and does not move when pressed from upwards, it means that such blade is secured in its place.

• Place the beating and kneading disc onto the accessory holder.
• Place the transparent intermediate lid on the work bowl. Then place the locked work bowl lid and lock the latches. You can hear a "click" sound if

they are properly locked.

• Place the motor part on its place and turn it clockwise until it fits well in its place, without tightening too much. You can hear a "click" sound if it is properly placed.
• Connect the mains plug to the wall socket.
• You can start the operation by means of pressing the Turbo button which is located on the motor body or pressing the start button.
• For your personal safety push the foods into the bowl using its own pusher apparatus, and make sure that this apparatus must be in place during operation. Never use your fingers, or forks, spoons, etc.

MIXING AND CuTTING WITH HAND BLENDER:

- You can use your appliance as hand blender, mount the blender and motor part.

Mount the stainless steel blender accessories to the main body by turning until it fits well in its place, without tightening too much.

- Connect the mains plug to the wall socket.

- Use special measuring receptacle or a deep pot in order to obtain the best results from your hand blender and to prevent the material from spreading out.

- Cut the materials into small pieces and move such pieces up and down through depressing the start button of your hand blender in the material after setting the desired speed adjustment.

- By using stainless steel blender accessories of your appliance you can prepare sauces, milks, fruit juices, soups, cocktails, and milkshakes; make cooked vegetables, fruits, and mashed potatoes (for example, baby foods, etc.); mix such soft materials as butter, eggs, flours, and liquid oils (to make mayonnaise, omelets, dessert, and dough), and mix any foods being cooked in the oven.

As soon as after you have finished your work clean the stainless steel blender accessories and wipe dry with a damp cloth.

WARNING:

Turn on your appliance only after the ingredients are put into it, and NEVER take any materials out of the unit unless it completely stops.

BEATING AND MIXING WITH THE BEATER NoZZLES:

By means of using the beater accessories of your Arzum Hestia Multi

Blender Set you can easily make the preparations such as cake dough, omelet, crepe dough and mayonnaise.

- Mount the beater accessories firstly by pushing until it fits well in its place in order to use the beater accessories.

- Turn the beater adapter to the motor block to mount without tightening too much.

- Plunge your hand blender in upright position into a deep raw vessel in which you previously placed the materials, take the speed adjustment to the desired stage and connect it to the outlet. Press the start button and turn the materials with the up-down and circular movements.

- After every use, ALWAYS dismantle the beater wires from the beater adapter and wash with the detergent water. It will be enough for you to wipe the adapter with a damp cloth. Excessive water may enter in the appliance and may cause it to be damaged.

WARNING:

1- ALWAYS operate your hand blender in the upright position.

3- Do not press with your appliance on the material hardly.

CLEANING AND CARE

Before cleaning your appliance, make sure that the power cord is disconnected from outlet, and allow it to cool down.
- Wash any accessories coming in contact with foods after every use, and then wipe off them with a soft cloth and remove them.
Do not use such cleansers as abrasive detergents, steel wools, polishers, and aerosols, or other agents that may damage to the surfaces of any accessories.
- When not in use, never leave the appliance as plugged in the power outlet.
- Engine (Main body): NEVER immerse the engine (main body) into water

or other liquids. Wipe off and dry the external surface with a slightly damp cloth.

- Stainless steel blender: Rinse using tepid water and soap. When cleaning under running water, take care not to leak any water into the slot on which the motor is located. If water leaks into the slot, immediately turn upside down and shake it out, and then allow it to cool down with the blade in the upright position.

- You can wash the chopper bowl, double-sided stainless steel cutting blades, and beaters of your appliance by using water and soap, or in the upper section of a dishwasher.

Take due care when washing the chopping and slicing blades, in particular. These parts may result in serious injuries. After drying the chopping and mixing metal blade, store it in its protective case.
