3 Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the appliance.
4 To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.
5 To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents, check the appliance before each use by holding it away from your body.
6 Use this appliance only in an up or down vertical motion. Never use steam head in a horizontal position, or tilt into a backward position, this may result in a hot water spill. Let the appliance cool completely before putting it away.
7 Burns could occur from touching hot parts, hot water or steam. Use care when you empty a steamer appliance, the hot water would still be in the reservoir.
8 Do not direct steam to people, animals or steam cloths while they are being worn.
9 Always disconnect appliance from electrical outlet when filling with water, emptying the water, or not in use.
10 If an extension cord is being used, the marked electrical rating should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken when using the extension cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
11 Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.
12 Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FURTHER REFERENCE.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

- Fill the water reservoir with the measuring cup enclosed
- Never fill the water pass MAX
- Place back the water reservoir cap
- The steamer should always be used with the supplied accessories in order to reduce water spilling

Steaming Fabrics and Linens
NOTE: The water reservoir must be filled before proceeding with the following steps.
1 Gently pull the cord out from the rewind mechanism. Do not pull past the red marking on the power cord. Maximum length is marked by this red label.
2 Plug the steam power cord into an electrical outlet. The heater indicator light will illuminate when its turned on.
3 The steamer will emit steam after approximately 3 minutes.
4 Direct the steamer nozzle towards the materials you want the steamer.
5 Keep the flow of steam focused on the material. Using a slight back and forth motion will further enhance the steaming process.
Steaming Garments
1 Place the garment on a clean hanger.
2 Start to steam from the bottom of the garment. The steam will rise along outside and inside of the fabric, removing wrinkles. Continue to steam slowly from bottom to top of the garment.
3 Point the steam away from the garment and smooth the fabric with your free hand.
4 Repeat the above steps as necessary until garment is free of wrinkle.
Steaming tip
- Steaming both sides of the fabric will help to remove stubborn wrinkles.
- Delicate fabrics need to be steamed carefully to avoid damages caused by water spotting.
- Draperies and curtains can be steamed while still hanging. Precaution should be taken while using a ladder or a step ladder. Do not use stool, a chair or revolving chair.
- To steam towels, handkerchiefs and napkins, hang them over a rod or towel.
Removing the mineral build-up
The best way to avoid mineral build-up is using distilled or dematerialized water in your steamer. It is not advised to use the municipal water because it is high in mineral content.
1 Unplug the power cord if the steamer is plugged and allow it to cool.
2 Empty the remaining water into a sink to minimize the mineral build-up.
3 Reattach the water reservoir cap; do not tighten the cap, because it will be easier to remove it the next time you use the steamer.
4 Store the steamer and all the supplied accessories together in one box (NOTE the original packing is convenient storage box for your steamer)
5 Store the steamer in a cool and dry location.
