Safety
- Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
- Great care should be exercised when handling and cleaning the blade and the container. The blade is very sharp.
- The product should always be disconnected from the mains when it is not in use, when it is to be assembled/disassembled and when it is to be cleaned.
- The product must not be used by children. Ensure that the product and its mains lead are kept out of children's reach.
- The product must only be used with the included motor unit.
- Note: Ensure that the product is switched off before the container is removed from the motor unit.
- Wash the container, cutter blade, other chopping attachments and lid with warm soapy water.
- Switch the product off and disconnect it from the mains before removing the blade or any of the moving parts.
- The product may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the product and understand the hazards involved.
- Never let children play with the product.

Ensure that the product is used with the correct voltage. Refer to the rating plate on the product.

Always remove the container from the motor unit before cleaning. The blade is extremely sharp and could cause serious personal injury if the product were to start accidentally.
- To prevent electric shocks, the product and its mains lead should be kept dry.
- Never lay the mains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
- Always disconnect the product from the power supply by holding and pulling the plug. Do not pull the mains lead.
- Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that the product is switched off before it is connected to the power supply.
- Never operate the product without food in the container.
- Never use the product close to heat sources.
- Only use the included accessories.
- Never use the product for anything other than its intended use.
- The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the product if the mains lead or plug is damaged.
- The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service facility or qualified technician.

Before initial use
Thoroughly clean all parts before using the product for the first time. Refer to the Care and maintenance section.
Assembly
- Prevent the product from starting accidentally by unplugging it from the mains before attaching the blade assembly and plastic container to the motor unit.
- Screw the blade assembly into the bottom of the container.
- Fit the container onto the motor unit using the markings on the container and motor unit as a guide. Make sure that the lugs are securely engaged in the notches.
- Put the lid on the container.
Operating instructions
- Add the ingredients to the container.
- Make sure that the lid is on securely.
- Plug the mains lead into an electrical socket and switch the blender on by holding in [①].
- The motor will stop when the button is released.
Important!
- Never run the blender for more than 1 minute at a time. Let the motor cool down a little before using it again.
- Never run the blender empty.
- If frozen ingredients are to be blended, they must be blended immediately after they have been placed in the container. Otherwise there is a risk that the ingredients will freeze together and jam the blades.
- Do not fill the container with hot liquid as the pressure build-up in the blender can be too high.

• Always keep one hand on the lid when running the blender.
- Use extra caution when blending hot liquids.
Mixing solid foodstuffs into purée
- Add the food a little at a time. This is better than adding everything all at once.
Mixing solid foodstuffs
- Cut the food up into small pieces (2–3 cm) and feed them into the container gradually.
- Always add a little liquid to solid foodstuffs before starting to mix them. More liquid can then gradually be poured into the container through the hole in the lid.
Care and maintenance
- Always unplug the blender to make sure that it is completely switched off.
- Never immerse the motor unit into water. Clean it by wiping it with a soft damp cloth.
- Empty the container, wash it and dry it.
- The container and lid are dishwasher safe.
- The blade assembly must be hand washed, it is not dishwasher safe.
