IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read these operating instructions carefully, prior to initial use. They contain important information for your safety, as well as for the use and maintenance of the device. Keep the manual for further reference and pass it on together with the device.
• Only use the device for its intended purpose. Improper use can lead to hazards. - This device is intended for private household use only. The device is not suitable for commercial use.
• Only use the device in dry rooms, never outside. - If you do not use the device for its intended purpose or improperly, no liability will be accepted for resulting damages.
- Using accessories and spare parts not explicitly recommended by the manufacturer, may lead to injuries and damage of property as well as to loss of guarantee.
- This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities or to be used by persons with lack of experience and/or lack of knowledge, unless supervised by a person responsible for security or instructed by this person how to use the machine.
• Children should be supervised, to make sure, that they do not play with the device.
• During operation, never, leave the device unattended. - Unplug the power cord, when not in use, when there are malfunctions or while mounting accessories or before every cleaning.
- Only unplug the power cable by pulling it out of the socket by the plug itself. Do not pull on the power cord.
- The power plug is used as disconnect device. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
- Only removing the power plug can separate the device completely from the mains supply.
- Make sure that the device, including power cord and mains plug does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not place the device close to heat sources.
- If the power cord or casing of the device is damaged or was dropped, do not used the device until if has been inspected by a professional electrician.
- In order to avoid hazards, a damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person.
- The voltage indicated on the type plate of the device must correspond with your mains voltage.
- Only remove the drive unit from the device, if the blades have come to a complete standstill and the mains plug has been disconnected.
- While cleaning or during operation, do not immerse the electric parts of the device into water or other liquids. Never hold the device under running water.
• Make sure the drive unit and the power cable do not get wet. - Caution, risk of injury! The cutting blades are very sharp. Keep finger, hair, clothing and hanging jewellery away from the cutters. Never touch the blades while the device is in operation.
- Before emptying the collection container, remove the cutting unit. Attention! The blade is very sharp!
• Use only accessories intended for the use with this device. - The device may only be used, if all original parts, such as the drive unit, splash guard, cutting unit and collection container are not damaged and used together. Do not try to replace a part by another one. If you need to replace a part, please contact your service agent.
- Clean the device and other accessories after each use. Please follow as discribed in chapter Cleaning and Care.

Intended use
- The device is intended only for the preparation of food. Any other use can lead to damages of the device or injuries.
Unpacking and control
- Remove the packaging material and check the device for damages.
• Mount the device once to check the correct fit. - Do not operate the device, if it is damaged in any way, but take it immediately back to the dealer.
Operating time
• The device is not suitable for continuous operation.
- Do not use the device continuously longer than 10 seconds at a time.
• The in between pauses must be at least 1 minute.
• Non-observance can lead to motor damage.
Operation
- Clean the collection container (5), the splash guard (3) and the cutting unit (4) as described in the chapter Cleaning and Care.
- With the device, you can chop or mince food. Always use the device in vertical position with the cutting unit (4) downwards.
• Make sure, the device is turned off and disconnected from the mains. - Place the non-slip coaster with the collection container sitting thereon on the worktop. The non-slip underside must show downwards.
- Attach the cutting unit (4) to the crosspiece in the middle of the container.
• Prepare your food for chopping or shredding according to the processing instructions. - Position the splash guard (3) on the collection container (5) correctly. The splash guard on the collection container snaps in, if it is in the correct position. The device does not function, if the splash guard does not sit on the collection container correctly.
- Now put the drive unit on the device and connect the plug of the device to the mains.
- Note: Make sure, the drive unit (1) with the splash guard (3) and the cutting unit (4) sit tight and properly on the collection container, prior to turning on the device.
- Now press the drive unit down for a maximum of 10 seconds. Your food will be chopped. If the food shouldn't yet have the desired consistency, make a pause of 1 minute to allow the device to cool off and repeat the chopping process.
- Before emptying the collection container, please disconnect the plug from the mains. Remove the drive unit and carefully remove the cutting unit. Now you can take the chopped or hashed food out of the collection container.
- Before replacing any accessories or additional parts, always disconnect the device from the mains.
- Following, clean the device as described in chapter Cleaning and Care.

Notes and hints
• Cut bigger food in pieces of approx. 1-2 cm.
- Do not chop hard food, such as coffee beans, ice cubes, spices or chocolate. They could damage the cutting unit.
• Never use the device for mixing hot oil or grease.
- Never fill the collection container with liquids, while you are using it.
- Do not operate the device if the collection container is empty.

CLEANING AND CARE, TECHNICAL DATA
• Pull the plug out of the power socket.
- Carefully remove the cutting unit. Attention! The blade is very sharp.
- Now you can clean the cutting unit, the splashguard and the collection container with coaster with water and a soft cleaning detergent. Dry all parts. Do not clean these parts in your dishwasher.
- Never submerse the drive unit into water or other liquids!
- Under no circumstances, use petrol or solvents for cleaning, also no abrasive cleaners or auxiliary agents.

warranty as of the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions:
This warranty does not affect your statutory warranty claims as consumer toward the seller of the device. These rights are not affected by our manufacturer's warranty. The warranty granted by us is valid only for domestic use of the device and is limited to the area of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The warranty term is 3 years as of the date of purchase.
It is within HOME ELECTRIC's discretion to fulfil the warranty by repair or replacement of the device or defect component. Other claims are excluded. In case of questions regarding HOME ELECTRIC products you no longer need to take the time to go to the seller but may call our service hotline or service center directly. A team of highly qualified product consultants and technicians is available from Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

HOME ELECTRIC
Our service partner requires proof of purchase, either as original receipt or cash receipt printed by the seller to perform warranty repairs. The serial number on the device must also be readable. We are unable to perform warranty services free of charge without proof of purchase. We recommend keeping the original packaging in order to ensure safe transport of the device in case of a warranty claim.
Warranty repairs may be performed exclusively by E2 Servicecenter GmbH or contractual partners authorised by it. Repairs performed by the customer or other shops void the warranty; a claim for cost reimbursement does not exist. The warranty is void or does not cover:
⇒ in case of improper use
⇒ in case of mechanical damages to the device from outside forces
⇒ in case of transportation damages
⇒ for wear parts
⇒ in case of operating errors and misuse
⇒ when placing the device in wet rooms or outdoors
in case of damages resulting from force, war, water, lightning, excess voltage, and other reasons not within the scope of HOME ELECTRIC's responsibility.
⇒ in case of excessive use, in particular in case of non-domestic use
⇒ in case of disregard of the user instructions and installation errors
⇒ if the device does not have a technical defect
⇒ for transport and travel costs as well as costs incurred by installing and uninstalling the device
The warranty does not include any subsequent liability on our part, in particular no liability for damages to the device itself or incurred by the loss of the device until the time of repair (e.g. travel costs, handling costs, etc.). However, this does not limit or exclude our statutory warranty, in particular pursuant to the Product Liability Act.
Any warranty services provided by us do not extend the warranty term of 3 years as of the date of purchase, also not in terms of possibly exchanged components.
