How do I turn on the scale?

Gently press on the scale with your hand. The LCD will then show all information and you can start weighing.

How do I switch between weight and volume units?

Press the MODE button to cycle through weight (g, lb:oz), water volume (ml, fl'oz), and milk volume (ml, fl'oz) modes.

How do I use the tare function?

Place a load on the scale, then press the ZERO button. If the total load is more than 4% of the maximum capacity, the tare function activates (indicated by a 'T' icon). The display resets to zero, and the maximum capacity is reduced by the weight of the load.

What does the low battery indicator look like?

When the battery is low, the LCD will show a battery replacement symbol (a battery icon). Replace the battery with a new CR2032.

How do I replace the battery?

Open the battery cover on the bottom of the scale. Remove the old battery using a sharp object if needed. Insert a new CR2032 battery, placing one side under the baffle and pressing down the other side. Close the cover.

How do I clean the scale?

Clean the scale with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or use chemical or abrasive cleaning agents. Clean plastic parts immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar, or strongly colored foods.

Why does the scale turn off automatically?

The scale has an auto shut-off feature that activates if the display shows '0' or the same weight reading for one minute to save battery.

Can I weigh liquids directly?

Yes, you can weigh liquids by using the volume mode. After turning on, press MODE to select 'Water' or 'Milk' mode. Place a container on the scale, press ZERO to reset, then pour the liquid. The display shows the volume in ml or fl'oz.

What is the maximum weight the scale can measure?

The maximum weight capacity is 5 kg (5000 g). Exceeding this will show an overload warning and may damage the scale.

How do I use the zero function?

When the total load is ≤ 4% of the maximum capacity (e.g., ≤ 200 g for 5000 g scale), press ZERO to reset the display to zero. The 'O' icon appears. You can then add more items without removing the previous load, as long as the total does not exceed the maximum capacity.

TO INSTALL OR REPLACE BATTERIES

1x 3 V CR2032 lithium batteries (included). Remove isolation sheet before use.

• Open the battery case cover at the bottom of the scale.
  • Take out the used battery with the aid of a sharp object, as shown.
  • Install new battery by putting one side of the battery beneath the battery baffle (1) and then pressing down the other side.

OPERATION

TO START WEIGHING

Weight mode

• Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
• Place bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the scale.
  • Gently press on the scale with your hand to turn it on.
• Wait until LCD shows all information.
• Put the load on the scale. LCD will show the weight reading.
• If the weighing object is water or milk, press MODE button to choose volume mode and view the volume of the object.

Volume indication mode

• Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
  • Gently press on the scale with your hand to turn it on.
• Wait until the LCD shows "0", then press the MODE button to choose "Water" or "Milk" mode.
• Put a liquid container on the scale platform.
• Press ZERO button to reset LCD to "0".
• Pour liquid (water or milk) into the container. The LCD shows the volume of the liquid.
• Press the MODE button to choose "Weight" mode and view the weight of the liquid.

ZERO AND TARE FUNCTIONS

You can weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale. Put your first load on the scale; get the weight reading. Next, press the ZERO button to zero the scale. Make sure that "O" appears on the LCD before placing the next item you want to weigh on the scale. You can repeat this operation if necessary.

Condition 1: Zero functions

When total sum of all loads on scale ≤ 4% of scale's max. weight capacity. (4% = 80 g when weight capacity is 2000 g or 200 g when the weight capacity is 5000 g)

The LCD will show "----" or "0 g" each time the ZERO button is pressed. Wait a moment if "----" appears on the display. "0 g" and an "o" icon at the same time in the corner of the LCD mean the "Zero" function is activated. Max. weight capacity remains unchanged.

Condition 2: Tare function

When the total sum of all loads on the scale > 4 % of the scale's max. weight capacity. (4 % = 80 g when the weight capacity is 2000 g or 200 g when the weight capacity is 5000 g) The LCD will show "----" or "0 g" each time the ZERO button is pressed. Wait a moment if "----" appears on the display. "0 g" and a (T) icon (tare) at the same time on the upper left corner of the LCD mean the "Tare" function is activated. Max. weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of all loads.

Under this condition:

By pressing ZERO, you can see the total weight of all loads on the scale. If you want to weigh more loads, just press ZERO to reset the LCD reading to '0' again.

AUTO SHUT OFF

Auto shut-off occurs if display shows '0' or shows the same weight reading for one minute.

WARNING INDICATORS

1. Replace battery.
2. Scale overload. Remove the object to avoid damage to the scale. The max. weight capacity is specified on the scale.

• All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar or strongly flavoured/coloured foods. Avoid contact with acidic citrus juices.
  • Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. Do not use on carpet.
• Do not hit, shake or drop the scale.
• The scale is a high precision device. Please take care of it.
• Please keep it dry.
• If the scale cannot be turned on, check that the battery is correctly installed and that it doesn't need to be replaced.
• The scale is for household use only, not for commercial purposes.
