Defrosting occurs automatically. Defrost water collects in an evaporating tray and evaporates. Clean the defrost water drain hole periodically using the defrost drain plug to prevent water accumulation.
How do I replace the light bulb?
Unplug the unit. Press the hook on the light cover to remove it. Replace with a bulb of max 15 W. Refit the cover, wait 5 minutes, then plug back in.
How should I clean the refrigerator?
Disconnect from power. Use a solution of bicarbonate of soda and lukewarm water for the interior. Clean accessories with soap and water. Do not use abrasive products or dishwasher. Rinse and dry carefully.
What energy saving tips are recommended?
Install in a cool, ventilated place away from heat sources. Allow hot food to cool before storing. Cover drinks and food. Open the door briefly. Keep compartment covers closed. Clean the rear occasionally with a vacuum cleaner.
What should I do if the appliance is not working?
Check for power failure, ensure plug is fully inserted, verify thermostat is not set to 0, and test the socket with another working appliance. If still faulty, contact an authorized service center.
Is the refrigerant flammable?
Yes, the refrigerant is R600a (isobutane), which is combustible. During transport and installation, avoid damaging the refrigerant circuit. In case of damage, extinguish naked flames and ventilate the room.
How long should I wait before switching on after moving?
Place the appliance upright and wait at least 3 hours before switching on to allow the refrigerant circuit to settle.
Can I store hot food in the refrigerator?
No, allow hot food and drinks to cool down to room temperature before placing them inside to avoid raising the internal temperature and wasting energy.
Why is water collecting at the bottom of the refrigerator?
The defrost water drain hole may be clogged. Clean it using the defrost drain plug. Pour half a glass of water into the drain hole to flush it out.

- For short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knob between minimum and medium position (1-3).

- For long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set knob medium position.(3-4)

- Note that; the ambient temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food and how often the door is opened, affects the temperature in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. If required, change the temperature setting.

- When you first switch on the appliance, you should ideally try to run it without any food in for 24 hours and not open the door. If you need to use it straight away, try to put much food inside.

PART 5. BEFORE CALLING YOUR AFTER SALES SERVICE

If your refrigerator is not working properly, it may be a minor problem, therefore check the following.

The appliance does not operate,

Check if;

• There is a power failure,
- The mains plug is not properly plugged in, or is loose
- The thermostat setting is on position "0",

- The socket is defective. To check this, plug in another appliance that you know which is working into the same socket.

The appliance performs poorly;

Check if;

  • You have overloaded the appliance,
    • The doors are not closed perfectly,

- There are not enough ventilation ducts on the kitchen unit as mentioned in the Installation Manual.

If there is noise;

The cooling gas which circulates in the refrigerator circuit may make a slight noise (bubbling sound) even when the compressor is not running. Do not worry, this is quite normal. If these sounds are different check if;

  • The appliance is installed firmly as described in the Installation Manual.
  • The objects on the appliance are vibrating.

If there is water in the lower part of the refrigerator;

Check if;

The drain hole for defrost water is not clogged (use defrost drain plug to clean the drain hole).

If your fridge is not cooling enough;

Your fridge is designed to operate in the ambient temperature intervals stated in the standards, according to the climate class stated in the information label. We do not recommend operating your fridge out of stated temperatures value limits in terms of cooling effectiveness.

Climate Class Ambient Temperature (°C)
TBetween 16 and 43 (°C)
STBetween 16 and 38 (°C)
NBetween 16 and 32 (°C)
SNBetween 10 and 32 (°C)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • In case of a sudden power loss or disconnecting and reconnecting of the plug to the electrical socket, the compressor protective thermal element will be opened as the pressure of the gas in the cooling system of your refrigerator has not yet been balanced. 4 or 5 minutes later, your refrigerator will start to operate; this is normal.
  • If you won't be using your refrigerator for a long time (such as on summer holidays), please disconnect the plug from the socket. Clean your refrigerator as per Part 4 of this document and leave the door open to prevent any humidification or odor formation.

If there is still a problem with your refrigerator although you have followed the instructions in this book, please consult your nearest authorized service center.

The life cycle of this product as determined and proclaimed by the Ministry of Industry (the period for making spare parts available for the product to be able to fulfill its functions) is 10 years.

PART 6. TIPS FOR SAVING ENERGY

1- Install the appliance in a coll, well vantilated room, but not in direct sunlight and not near heat source (radiator, cooker.. etc). Otherwise use an insulating plate.
2- Allow ward food and drinks to cool down outside the appliance.
3- When thawing frozen food, place it in the refrigerator compartment. The low temperature of the frozen food will help to cool the refrigerator compartment when it is thawing. So it causes energy saving. If the frozen food is put out, it causes wastage of energy.
4- When placing, drinks and slops they must be covered. Otherwise humidity increases at the appliance. Therefore the working time gets longer. Also covering drinks and slops helps to save smell and taste.
5- When placing food and drinks, open the appliance door as briefly as possible.
6- Keep close the covers of any different temrepature compartment in the appliance (crisper, chiller ...etc).
7- Door gasket must be clean and pliable. Replace gaskets if worn.
8- Occasionally clean the rear of the appliance with a vacuum cleaner or paint brush to prevent an increased power consumption.
