Yournotebook may be supplied with an internal modem which complies with Part68 of the FCC rules. On this notebook is a label that contains the FCC Registration Number and the Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) for this equipment among other information. If requested, the user must provide their telephone company with the following information:
- Thetelephonenumbertowhichthenotebookisconnected.
- The Ringer Equivalence Number (REN) forthisequipment.
- The equipment requires a standard modular jack type USOCRJ-11C which is FCC Part 68 compliant.
- The FCCRe gistrationNumber.
This equipment is designed to be connected to the telephone network or premises wiring using a standard modular jack type USOCRJ-11C which is FCC Part 68 compliant and all line cord between them, demand the telephone network with a minimum of 26 AWG.
