Innmatingsskruens girkasse blir fylt med fett og forseglet på fabrikken. Hvis den må demonteres, bør den smøres med 55–60 gram fett. OBS! Ikke fyll for mye fett. Det kan skade pakningen. Ventilasjons-pluggen må ikke tettes med fett, siden den må kunne slippe ut lufttrykk.
