How do I descale the MPM MCZ-93 kettle?

Fill the kettle with a mixture of water and vinegar or lemon juice (citric acid), or use a special descaling agent. Let it soak for an hour, then boil the mixture. Empty and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Repeat if necessary. To remove vinegar smell, boil clean water several times.

Why does the kettle turn off before reaching a boil?

The kettle has overheating protection. If there is insufficient water (below the minimum level) or the kettle is empty, it will automatically switch off to prevent damage. Let it cool for 15 minutes before refilling.

Can I boil milk, soup, or other liquids in this kettle?

No. This kettle is designed exclusively for boiling water. Using it for other liquids may damage the appliance and void the warranty.

How do I clean the filter?

Periodically remove the filter (item 7) from the kettle. Wash it in warm water with a mild detergent, using a soft brush for stubborn deposits. Rinse thoroughly and reinstall once dry.

What is the maximum and minimum water level?

The minimum water level is 0.5 L and the maximum is 1.7 L. Do not overfill or underfill to avoid boiling water splashes or triggering overheating protection.

How should I use the kettle for the first time?

Before first use, fill the kettle with water to the maximum level, boil it, then empty and rinse with fresh water. Repeat this process two or three times to remove any production residues.

The kettle does not turn on. What should I check?

First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into a working outlet. Check that the on/off switch is pressed to the ON position. If the kettle was recently used empty, it may have activated overheating protection; wait 15 minutes for it to cool and reset.

Is the kettle safe to use around children?

The kettle is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age without supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8. Never leave the kettle unattended while operating, especially near children.

Can I immerse the base or kettle in water for cleaning?

No. Never immerse the kettle, base, or cord in water or other liquids. Doing so may cause electric shock or fire. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth after unplugging.

What does the illuminated switch indicate?

The switch lights up when the kettle is turned on and heating water. Once the water boils or the kettle is switched off manually, the light turns off.

INSTRUCTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH USE SAFETY

Before use thoroughly read the operation manual. Extreme care is required in case of children presence in vicinity of the appliance!

Do not use your appliance for any other purpose except of its assignment.
Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other fluids.
Do not leave the appliance without supervision in course of its operation.

▶Always pull out the plug from the socket unless the appliance is used or before its cleaning.

- Do not use the appliance in case of its damage, also if its cord or plug is damaged – in such case the appliance should be handed over to an authorized service shop for repair.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Do not hang the cord on any sharp edges and prevent any contact with hot surfaces.
Never fill the jar above the maximum level nor under the minimum level – boiling water splashes are possible in case of overfilled kettle

Before the kettle is placed on the base, make sure it is switched off.

The kettle lid must be closed in course of water boiling.
▶ Use the kettle with its associated base exclusively.
Do not stand the appliance in vicinity of electric and gas cookers, burners, ovens etc.
▶ Use the kettle for water boiling only.
Do not touch the enclosure surfaces in course of water boiling, this surface may be hot
▶ Use the kettle with its associated filter only.

The device is intended for domestic use only.

This appliance is not intended for use by children under 8 years of age and individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without supervision.

- Ensure that children do not play with the appliance.

If water gets into any electric elements inside the kettle or onto the base, carefully dry these elements before plugging the kettle to the mains.

Do not operate the kettle when empty.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system

Do not plug the power cord with wet hands.
Allow the kettle to cool completely before cleaning.
Keep your children safe: do not leave any parts of the pack aging readily accessible (i.e. plastic bags, cardboard boxes, polystyrene inserts, etc.).

BEFORE USE

1. The kettle should be placed upright of flat, stable and dry surfaces.
2. Prior to the first use, fill the kettle with water to max level, boil it, then empty and rinse with fresh water. Repeat it few times to remove production dust, etc.
3. The kettle will turn off automatically after water boiling. However it may be turned off by the user at any time by moving the "on/off" switch ⑤ to the off position, if necessary.
4. After water has been boiled or the kettle has been switched off, wait several seconds before switching it on again.
5. The empty kettle will be automatically turned off by its overheating protection system. In such case the kettle should be allowed to cool for 15 minutes before its refilling.

HOW TO USE THE KETTLE

1. Remove the kettle from its base before filling it with water ⑥.
2. Remove the kettle's cover, pour water to a desired level (however, not less than 0,5 l and do not exceed the level of 1,7 l).
3. Put on the cover ② accurately.
4. Place the kettle on the base ⑥.
5. Switch the kettle by means of the switch ⑤. When the water comes to a boil the kettle will turn off automatically.

IMPORTANT NOTE! The kettle may be used with its base delivered in the scope of purchased model. Do not ever open the kettle lid in course of water boiling.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

NOTE! The kettle should be regularly descaled in accordance with the instructions included below. Always unplug cord of power base before cleaning and allow the jar to cool down.

1. Fill the jar with water mixed with vinegar or lemon juice (citric acid) or special descaling agent available in the shops selling the household equipment.
2. Let the mixture soak in the kettle for an hour and boil the water thereafter.
3. Empty the kettle and rinse the inside thoroughly with cold.
4. Repeat this action up to three times, if necessary.
5. In order to eliminate the smell of vinegar, boil and remove water several times.
6. Wipe the jar inside and outside with a cloth.
7. Failure to descale your kettle may result in its damage.

WARNING! Never immerse the device or the base in water or other liquids. This may result in electric shock or fire.

CAUTION! Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects. Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.

CAUTION! Periodically remove the filter (7) from the kettle, wash it in warm water with a detergent, and rinse it clean completely. Remove persistent dirt with a soft brush. Once cleaned and rinsed completely, reinstall the filter.
