How do I add essential oils to the Winix L60 humidifier?

Always add about 100 ml of water to the base first, then add 6-7 drops of essential oil into the base (not the water tank). Do not exceed your preferred amount. Ignore this step if you don't use essential oils.

Why is there no mist coming out?

Check if the water tank is empty. If so, fill it with room temperature water up to the MAX line. Also ensure the nozzle and cover are properly seated, and clean the ultrasonic transducer if needed.

The empty tank alarm light is on, but the tank has water. What should I do?

If this happens right after setting the water tank, wait a few moments for water to fill the reservoir. If it persists, drain the humidifier and place it on a flat, stable surface to ensure proper contact.

Can I use the Winix L60 in a closed room?

Yes, but if the room is sealed without ventilation, water may collect on cold surfaces. In such cases, use a lower mist level to reduce condensation.

How do I clean the ultrasonic transducer?

Clean it at least once or twice a week. Do not touch the transducer with your fingers. Never scrape it with hard objects. Use a soft cloth or clean with a vinegar solution as described in the manual.

What is the noise level of this humidifier?

The Winix L60 operates below 28 dB, which is whisper-quiet and suitable for use in bedrooms.

How do I change the night mood light color?

Press the Night Mood Light button repeatedly to cycle colors: Off > Blue > Green > Amber > Off. The light illuminates the water tank.

What kind of water should I use?

Use room temperature tap water. Do not use any additives in the water tank. Essential oils are only added to the base, not the tank.

Can I leave the humidifier running when I'm not home?

It is safe due to auto shut-off when empty, but the manual recommends unplugging the unit when not in use for long periods. Always follow safety precautions.

What should I do if the power cord is damaged?

Stop using the unit immediately. The cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified technician. Do not repair or modify the cord yourself.

WHERE TO USE

- Position the humidifier at least 12 in / 30 cm away from walls and appliances to prevent them from getting wet.

- Place the humidifier on a table or desk. Do not place it directly on the floor or carpet.

Do not place the unit against walls or objects or in areas with poor air circulation. Doing so may result in improper readings produced by the built-in humidity sensor.

If used in a closed (sealed) room without proper ventilation and no heat exchange with outside air, water collection can occur when the humidified air touches the cold surface. In such cases, it is recommended to use in a lower mist level.

CONTROL PANEL

1. Power & Mist Rotary Switch Button

- Turn the control dial clockwise.

- Power and mist level can be set by dialing the knob control, freely adjust the mist for quieter operation.

If there is not enough water, the unit will stop and the red LED indicator will continue to blink at the same time.

- Press the Night Mood Light button once to turn on the Night Mood Light. The light at the bottom of the water tank will turn on illuminating the tank.
