How to transfer files from the Insta360 One X2 to my phone?

Use the Insta360 app on your smartphone. Connect the camera via Wi-Fi through the app (QR code displayed on the camera screen). You can preview, transfer, and edit files directly.

What is the battery life of the One X2?

Battery life is approximately 80 minutes when recording 5.7K video at 30 fps. The battery recharges via USB-C in about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Is the Insta360 One X2 waterproof without a housing?

Yes, it is waterproof up to 10 meters without an additional housing. The ports and battery are protected by seals.

What type of memory card to use with the One X2?

Use a microSD card class 10 or UHS-I, preferably U3 for 5.7K videos. Recommended capacity: 64 GB to 256 GB.

How to activate Bullet Time mode on the One X2?

Attach the camera to a selfie stick or rope, select Bullet Time mode in the app or via the touch screen menu. The camera records in 360° while you spin it.

Can I use the One X2 as a webcam?

Yes, connect it to your computer via USB-C and select webcam mode in settings. It will appear as a 360° or wide-angle webcam.

How to update the firmware of the Insta360 One X2?

Download the Insta360 app, connect the camera via Wi-Fi. The app notifies you if an update is available. Follow the instructions to install the new firmware.

Does FlowState stabilization work in real time?

Yes, FlowState stabilization is integrated into the camera's processor. It works in real time for 360° videos and wide-angle videos, without requiring post-processing.

What accessories are recommended for the One X2?

Recommended accessories include the Invisible selfie stick, tripod, waterproof housing (for depth >10m), and adhesive mounts for attachment.

How to reset the Insta360 One X2 to factory settings?

Go to Settings > General Settings > Reset. Confirm the reset. All personal data will be erased.

3 Before You Start

① Ensure the battery has been fully charged. Please connect the included charge cable to ONE X2 in case of low or depleted battery.

Note: You can also use the o Fast Charge Hub (sold)

Connect to a 5V 2A power adapter to charge the camera.

You can also use the official Insta360 ONE X2 Fast Charge Hub (sold separately).

② Insert a Micro SD card

a. First, remove the battery. Squeeze the battery lock buckles as the two small arrows indicate, then the battery will pop out automatically.

b. Insert a Micro SD card (With its label facing outward towards the touch screen)

Supported Micro SD cards:

Please use exFAT Format MicroSD cards of speed classes UHS-I and V30 to ensure normal recording. The maximum supported storage space is 1TB.

③ Be sure to close the battery lock cover and USB lock cover completely (The yellow indication marks should be covered) to ensure waterproofing is not affected.

4 Know Your Insta360 ONE X2

Power on / off

When the camera is turned off, press the Power / Function button to power it on.

In standby mode, press the Power / Function button to turn the touch screen light off / on.

In standby mode, long press the Power / Function button for 2 seconds to power it off.

Using the Touch Screen

* The first time you turn on the camera, the following will be displayed on the screen.

Important: When using ONE X2 in water, please lock the touch screen to avoid accidental presses. After locking the touch screen, you can use the Power / Function Button to change modes.

5 Control via WiFi

① Scan the QR code on the right (https://www.insta360.com/download/insta360-onex2) or search "Insta360 ONE X2" in the App Store / Google Play to download the companion app. The first time you use it, please follow onscreen instructions to activate the app.

② Turn on the WiFi and Bluetooth of your mobile device.
③ When the camera is turned off, press the Power / Function button to power it on.
④ After installing the app, tap the camera icon at the bottom of the app homepage and select "Connect now" in the WiFi panel. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to connect your device.
The first time you connect to the camera via WiFi, follow onscreen instructions to confirm your connection.
⑤ After successfully connecting the camera, you can take photos or shoot videos via the app.

Note:

1) The WiFi connection range is 10 meters (33 ft) in optimal conditions with no interference.
2) Camera control via direct cable connection is also supported for Android devices with Micro-USB or USB Type-C connectors.
