How do I pair the parent and baby units?

Ensure both units are turned on. Press the pairing button on the baby unit (located on the bottom) and simultaneously press the sync button on the parent unit. They will automatically connect within 30 seconds.

What is the maximum operating range?

The EASE34 has a line-of-sight range of up to 300 meters. Indoor range may vary due to walls and obstructions (typically 50-100 meters).

How long does the parent unit battery last?

The parent unit battery lasts up to 6 hours of continuous use. In VOX (voice activation) mode, the battery life can extend to 10 hours.

Can I add additional cameras?

Yes, the Motorola EASE34 system supports up to 4 cameras. Each camera must be paired separately with the parent unit.

How do I clean the baby monitor?

Unplug both units and wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use water, cleaning fluids, or abrasive materials. Avoid getting moisture near the camera lens or charging ports.

Why is there interference on the screen?

Interference may be caused by other wireless devices (Wi-Fi, microwaves, etc.). Try moving the units away from such sources or changing the channel (if available). Ensure the firmware is up to date.

Does the baby unit have a night light?

Yes, the baby unit features a built-in night light with adjustable brightness. It can be turned on/off from the parent unit.

Can I see the room temperature on the parent unit?

Yes, the baby unit includes a temperature sensor that displays the nursery temperature on the parent unit screen. You can set high/low temperature alerts.

What should I do if the parent unit disconnects from the baby unit?

First, move the parent unit closer to the baby unit. If disconnection persists, try re-pairing the units (see Q1). Check that both units are charged and not in power-saving mode.

Is the monitor secure from hacking?

The Motorola EASE34 uses digital FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology, which encrypts the signal and hops between frequencies to prevent eavesdropping and interference.

1. Setting up your Digital Video Baby Monitor

A. Connecting the Power Supply for the Baby Unit

- Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC socket on the back of the Baby Unit. - Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable power socket. - The baby unit turns on and the power indicator lights in Blue colour. NOTE Only use the supplied power adapter

(DCSV/60Gn4).

WARNING:

STRANGULATION HAZARD. Children have STRANGLED in cords. Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 1 metre away). Never use extension cords with AC Adapters. Only use the AC Adapters provided.

B. Connecting the Power Supply of the Parent Unit.

A rechargeable battery (Lithium ion battery 1200mAh) inside the Parent Unit allows you to move it without losing the link and picture from the Baby Unit. We recommend charging the for at least 16 hours before first use, and when the Parent Unit indicates the battery is low.

Connect the small plug of the power adapter to the parent unit and the other end to the power socket. Only use the enclosed adapter (5VDC/600mA). Press and hold the button to turn the Parent unit on, the Parent unit and Baby unit are automatically linked and ready to use.

NOTE

When the Baby and Parent Units are both turned on and within range, the Parent Unit should show a color image from the Baby Unit camera, but if the room is dark, the image will be in black and white, with an ⚙ icon showing, due to the infra-red illumination by the Baby Unit.

C. Desktop Stand of the Parent Unit

• The parent unit comes with a desktop stand attached to the back of the parent unit.

• To place the parent unit on a desk, simply pull out the stand, as shown.
