- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- WARNING: Certain parts of the appliance can become extremely hot and cause burns. Special attention must be given when children and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities are present. This electric patio heater conforms to current requirements for technical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.
- Keep the heater out of the reach of children.
• The power cord and plug must not be damaged or routed over sharp edges and corners.
• Never pull the power cord to remove the plug from the mains socket.
- Never use a damaged extension cord.
- Never use near baths, showers or pools.
- The heater must not be positioned close to flammable items.
- The heater must not be positioned immediately below a wall socket. The heater must not be covered.
• Air intakes and outlets must not be blocked.
• Maintenance and repair work must only be performed by an authorised service technician.
- Use a dry cloth or vacuum cleaner to clean the heater.
- Do not use the heater near flammable liquids or substances.
- Do not insert items into the heater.
• Make sure the heater is not connected to the mains supply when being moved.
• Children and people with a mental disability may only use the heater under supervision.
- The element must not be connected if it has visible damage, if the power cord has visible damage or if damage is suspected (such as in the event of a fall).
- Check that the rated voltage corresponds with the mains voltage.
- The appliance must not be installed or used in vehicles.
- The element's opening can reach a temperature of 60^ C .
- Do not touch the patio heater when it is lit. Risk of burns.
- Do not touch the patio heater with damp or wet hands.
• Always turn off the patio heater after use, if a fault is indicated and before cleaning.
- Do not use the patio heater if it is damaged, has tipped over or is not working correctly in some other way.
- The patio heater must not be dismantled. If it is assembled or repaired incorrectly, this can entail a hazard. Contact your dealer in the event of any problems.
- The heater must never be left unattended when in use. The heater must not be positioned close to flammable materials.
- Do not expose the heater to moisture or the risk of corrosion during storage.
- Do not expose the heater to moisture, rain or snow.

OPERATION
- Place the heater on a flat surface, at least 1 metre from flammable items.
• Make sure the power switch is set to 0 (1) before connecting the heater to the mains supply. - Start the heater by setting the power switch to 1000 W.
- For oscillating function, set the switch (2) to TURN.
• The timer function is activated by setting the timer dial (3) to the required time, max. 60 minutes. - The heater must be disconnected from the mains voltage when not in use.

The heater is equipped with overheat protection that switches off the element in the event of a technical fault or incorrect use. If this happens, the power switch must be set to 0 and the plug disconnected from the wall socket. Investigate the cause of the fault. The overheat protection automatically resets when the element has cooled.
The heater is equipped with tilt protection. If the heater should tip over, the tilt protection is tripped and the heater is turned off.
MAINTENANCE
The outside of the patio heater requires no particular maintenance other than regular vacuuming and wiping off. The electrical parts must not be exposed to water.
