How do I assemble the Abildholt office chair?

Assemble the chair on a soft surface to avoid scratches. Attach the gas lift to the starbase, insert the casters, then attach the seat and backrest using the included screws (4x type A, 1x type B). Tighten with the provided Allen key.

Why are the wheels locked when I'm not sitting on the chair?

The safety lock casters are designed to lock the wheels when the chair is not in use to prevent it from rolling on smooth floors. They automatically release when you sit down.

How do I adjust the seat height?

While seated, lift the lever located under the seat to raise or lower the chair. Release the lever to lock the desired height.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

How should I clean the chair?

The purpose of these safety lock casters is to temporarily lock the wheels when the chair is not in use.

The lock would be released when you sit on the chair.

This prevents the chair from rolling off on its own when on smooth hard floor.
