How do I use the Concept RM-3260 chopper?

Rinse all parts before first use. Place the stainless steel blade onto the center shaft carefully. Add food into the bowl, put the lid on, plug in, and press the switch intermittently for impulse chopping. Do not run continuously for more than 20 seconds.

What is the maximum capacity for onions?

The maximum amount for onions is 200 g, cut into eighths. Use pulse mode for 5-10 seconds.

Can I chop ice or coffee beans with this blender?

No. The stainless steel blade is not designed for hard foods like coffee beans, ice cubes, seasoning, or chocolate. Doing so may damage the blade or motor.

How do I clean the chopper?

Unplug the unit. Clean the motor body with a damp cloth. Wash the bowl, lid, blade, and cover in warm soapy water or in a dishwasher. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling.

What should I do if the motor stops working?

The motor may have overheated. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool for at least 2 minutes. Also check that the air vents are not blocked. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center.

Can I operate the blender continuously for more than 20 seconds?

No. The appliance is designed for short bursts. Running it longer than 20 seconds may cause overheating and damage. Always let it rest for at least 2 minutes between uses.

Is the bowl dishwasher safe?

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:

The chopper is intended for chopping fruits, vegetables, meat, nuts, herbs etc.

Rinse the entire attachment and bowl well before using the device for the first time.

1. The blade is very sharp and should be held by the upper plastic part. Place the blade onto centre shaft carefully.
2. Insert food into the chopping bowl according to the processing guide.
3. Place lid onto bowl.
4. Uncoil the entire cord and plug into the outlet. Press the lid switch interruptedly for impulse chopping. Prevent overprocessing food in this manner.
5. Unplug the cord from the outlet after you are finished chopping. Only afterwards should you remove the part containing the motor and lid.
6. Carefully remove the stainless steal blade and take out the processed food.

Note:

1. Do not operate the appliance continuously for more than 20 seconds. Allow it to cool down for at least 2 minutes before using it again. Otherwise the appliance will overheat and become damaged.

2. Do not use the stainless steel chopping blade on hard foods, such as coffee beans, ice cubes, seasoning or chocolate.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem	Cause	Solution
The motor is not running.	The plug is inserted into the socket incorrectly or insufficiently.	Check the plug connection.
	The socket is not receiving electricity.	Check for voltage, e.g. by connecting a different appliance.
The motor has stopped working.	The motor is overloaded, the heat fuse has been activated.	Disconnect the power supply cable from the socket. Check and clear the air passage at the inlet/outlet grills.Let the unit cool.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Turn off the unit and disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet before cleaning and after use.

Clean the appliance body with a wet cloth.

Do not use steel wool, abrasive agents or solvents to clean the unit.

Wash the other plastic parts in water with detergent and rinse in clean water; you may use a dishwasher.

SERVICING

Any extensive maintenance or repair that requires access to the inner parts of the product must be performed by an expert service centre.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

• Packaging materials and obsolete appliances should be recycled.
• The transport box may be disposed of as sorted waste.
