HEATER OPERATION
Assembly of 68791 heater
Warning! Before starting any assembly work, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply socket and is completely cooled down.
Fix the base to the heater with screws (II). The base ensures stability when the appliance is standing. It is forbidden to use the heater without a correctly fixed base.
Place the heater on the floor. A minimum of 1.5 m distance from persons, walls or objects should be kept around the front wall of the heater. The rear wall of the heater should be at least 0.5 m away from people, walls or objects.
68791 heater operation
The heater is activated by turning the switch to the on position - I. The heater is deactivated by turning the switch to the off position - O.
By pressing the I/O control panel switch, the following operating modes can be activated in sequence: P0 – standby, the heater remains switched off; P1 – operation at 650 W; P2 – operation at 1350 W; P3 – operation at 2000 W. The symbol of the selected operation mode will be visible on the control panel display.
By pressing the button marked with the clock symbol, you can set the appliance's timer which switches the heater off after a set number of hours. Successive presses of the button allow setting the time between 1 and 24 hours.
WARNING! The timer switching the heater off automatically does not mean that the appliance is switched off. Switching off takes place only when the switch is turned to the off position - O.
68792, 68793 heater assembly
Warning! Before starting any assembly work, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply socket and is completely cooled down.
The heater has been adapted for mounting on a wall or on the included column with base.
If mounted on a wall, it should be installed so that its lowest point is situated at least 1.8 m from the floor. Installation should be carried out using four mounting elements appropriate to the surface. Mounting elements are not supplied with the product.
For column mounting, screw the lowest part of the column (II) to the base and apply the cap (II). Slide the subsequent column parts over each other and secure the connection with screws (III). Use all parts of the column, otherwise the heater will be too close to the ground. The tallest part of the column should allow height adjustment. Adjustment should be made by loosening the column ring and then sliding out the inner part of the column which locks by tightening the ring.
Attach the power cord holders to the column (IV). Mount the heater on top of the column and secure it with the knob (V).
Place the heater on the floor. A minimum of 1.5 m distance from persons, walls or objects should be kept around the front wall of the heater. The rear wall of the heater should be at least 0.5 m away from people, walls or objects.
68792, 68793 heater operation
The heater is activated with a pull cord switch. Subsequent pulls activate the operating modes described below. 68792 heater: 0 – heater off; 1 – heating at 650 W; 2 – heating at 1300 W; 3 – heating at 2000 W. 68793 heater: 0 – heater off; 1 – heating at 730 W; 2 – heating at 1460 W; 3 – heating at 2200 W.
Using the heater
After switching the heater on it will start heating the room. If the room is larger than the maximum heating area, several heaters should be placed in the entire room area, with even spaces between them. Otherwise, the appliance will not function effectively.
The speed of heating a room depends on several factors, its dimensions, the indoor temperature, the heat loss rate in the room, e.g. due to insufficient thermal insulation.
After heating, turn off the heater by moving the switch to the OFF or O position and then unplug the power cord from the socket.
If the appliance is equipped with a remote control, it can be used to turn the appliance on and off and to set the heating level, if the remote control has such a function. Remote control operation is only possible when the appliance switch is in the ON position.
Turning the appliance off using the remote control does not flip the switch to the OFF position. Turning off using only the remote control cannot be regarded as turning the appliance off.
Maintenance
Warning! Before starting any maintenance work, make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the power supply socket and is completely cooled down.
Clean the appliance housing with a cloth slightly dampened with water and dry it. Clean the area around the heating lamp and the vent holes with a stream of compressed air of not more than 0.3 MPa.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid and do not clean it with a jet of water or any other liquid.
EN
