  • Use the appliance solely for its intended purpose and adhere to all procedures outlined within this manual.
  • Avoid contact with water during use and never immerse appliances, mains cable, or plug in water or any liquid to prevent electric shock.
  • Don't touch the appliance with wet hands.
    • Intended for indoor use only.
  • Ensure appliances are used on a flat and level surface.
    • Always unplug the appliance before moving, cleaning, and when not in use and never pull the mains cable; always pull directly on the plug itself.
  • Avoid kinking or crushing the mains cable.
  • Do not use the appliance if the appliance itself, the mains cable, or the plug is damaged.
  • Keep the appliance and its components away from open flames and hot surfaces.
  • Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
  • Never open the casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • The appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or older and by individuals with reduced capabilities if supervised and instructed in safe use.
    • Children under 3 years old must be away from the appliance unless supervised.
    • Children 3-8 years old are not allowed to plug in, regulate, clean or conduct any form of maintenance on the appliance.

CAUTION:

Exercise caution especially around young or vulnerable people when using this product, as certain parts may become hot and cause burns.

  • Position the heater away from the direct proximity to socket outlets.
  • Do not use this heater near baths, showers, or swimming pools.
  • Avoid using the heater if it has been dropped.
  • Don't use the heater if there are visible and clear signs of damage.

WARNING:

  • Never cover the heater to prevent overheating.
  • Do not use this heater in small rooms occupied by individuals unable to live on their own unless constant supervision is provided.
  • Keep textiles, curtains, or any flammable material at least 1 meter away from the air outlet to reduce the risk of fire.

How to Use

  1. Ensure the heater is on a flat and stable surface before use. Avoid placing it on surfaces which incline or decline to ensure safe use.

  2. Plug the heater into the grounded AC outlet, making sure it fits securely.

  3. Use the thermostat to adjust the heat in accordance to your preference. Turn the dial clockwise towards max to increase the heat. To reduce the temperature, turn the dial anti-clockwise.

  4. To choose between cool, warm and hot air, turn the bottom dial to the right area:

  5. FAN - cool air

  6. LOW - warm air
  7. HIGH - hot air, fullpower

  8. To turn the heater off, set the dial to the 'OFF' position.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Always unplug and allow the heater to cool before cleaning or storing.
  2. Wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Make sure it dries thoroughly before using.
  3. Store the heater in a clean and dry place.

WARNING:

  • Do not attempt to open up or repair the heater yourself. This may cause fire or electric shock. Please contact Duronic for repairs.
  • Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water.
  • Avoid using cleaning chemicals and abrasives.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
There is a smell the first time using the heater.This is normal for most heaters. This is often described as a “burning” or “dusty” odor. The smell should dissipate after a small time of use.Ventilate the room to remove the odor quicker. Do not spray the heater with solvents/deodorants.If the smell continues, smells suspicious, or you see smoke, please turn off the heater and contact Duronic.
The heater won’t turn on.Check the heater is plugged in to a safe outlet and that the outlet is turned on.Turn the power dial to your preferred setting.
The heater has stopped working.Check if the heater is switched on.Check the cord, plug, and appliance for damage.The heater may have overheated. See the steps below.
The heater has overheated.The heater has overheat protection which switches off during severe overheating.Unplug the appliance and wait 30 minutes for it to cool down.The heater must not be covered. Remove anything on top or surrounding the heater. Make sure there is a reasonable distance between the wall or other obstructions and the heater.Check the cord, plug, and appliance for damage.
