Assembly (figures 1 and 3)
Remove the bowl from its location. Take the different elements out of the bowl and place them in front of you. Carefully place the drive shaft in the bowl and then replace the bowl by clipping the drive shaft into the hole in the motor base. Insert the bowl nozzle into the bowl, then engage the worm screw into the drive shaft. Choose the right tip for the type of dough you want to make, insert it firmly into the connecting piece. Snap the notch of the connection piece into the notch of the outlet port of the bin and screw in the locking ring. Close the lid.
Caution: If your cover is not properly installed, the red light will stay on and two dry beeps will be heard when you want to start a mode.
Using the device (figure 2)
Make sure the appliance is in the OFF position before plugging it in.
Open the lid.
Kneading mode: add the flour to the bowl, maximum 360 grams. Use a measuring cup to measure the amount of water needed (see table). Pour the water into the bowl (with or without eggs). Close the lid and press "Kneading" and then "on/off" to begin the operation.
| Egg-free recipe | |||
| Number of people | Flour | Water | Time |
| 1-2 | 180gr | 63ml | 10min |
| 3-4 | 360gr | 126ml | 18min |
| Recipe with eggs | |||
| 1-2 | 180gr and an egg | 30 ml | 10min |
| 3-4 | 360gr and an egg | 60ml | 18min |
Check regularly that your mixture is homogeneous. If you lift the lid, the device pauses. Put the lid back on after checking the consistency of your dough and press the On/Off button.
After a 2-minute break without any intervention on your part, the device stops.
When the consistency of the dough is correct (it should not be too dry or too wet) you can press "extrusion" to form the pasta.
If the dough is too dry, add a little liquid (water or vegetable juice) little by little. If the dough is too wet, add flour and then press "kneading" until the dough has a suitable consistency.
Extrusion Mode: Press "Extrusion". Guide the pasta as it comes out and lay it separately on a smooth floured surface and dust flour straight out of the machine. This will prevent the pasta from sticking together. When the manufacturing process is complete, turn off and then unplug the appliance.
Auto mode: in automatic mode, the machine performs kneading and extrusion. Nevertheless, we advise you to follow the steps above and to check your dough regularly before extrusion.
If you lift the lid during this mode, you have 2 minutes to rebalance your dough and restart the automatic mode by putting the lid back on.
Note: If the ingredients are used in excessive amounts, it can cause damage to the device. If you want to make larger quantities of pasta, repeat the operation several times, respecting a break time of at least 2 minutes and an operating time of no more than 18 minutes.
Make sure the openings in the pasta piece don't clog when extruding the dough! If this is the case, turn the switch on the appliance to the OFF position and unclog them. If the dough gets stuck during kneading or if the drive shaft does not rotate evenly, unplug the unit. Open the lid to identify the reason for the blockage.
Tip: Vegetable juices made from, for example, spinach, carrots or tomatoes are ideal for adding colour to your pasta or refining the taste.
If you add a little olive oil to the dough, it will glide better and adhere less to the parts of the machine. Fresh pasta can be stored for about 1-2 days in the refrigerator and freezer. To prevent the pasta from sticking, you can put it to dry for about 1-2 hours before putting it in the fridge or freezer.
Cleaning and maintenance
Disassemble the device systematically after each use to clean it (proceed in reverse to the assembly steps above). Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning products to clean the appliance. They could damage the surface. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
Clean all accessories and bowl by hand with warm water and a mild detergent. If necessary, soak the accessories in water to better remove food residues.
Clean the motor base with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe the unit with a clean cloth.
