Why won't my filter start?

Check that the power source is plugged in and the impeller is not blocked by foreign objects. Make sure the impeller is properly secured. If the problem persists, replace the pump head.

How to resolve a water leak?

Check the O-rings on the water valves and the motor head. Replace them if damaged or clean them if they contain foreign objects. Ensure that the fittings are tight and the impeller cover is properly locked.

What to do if my filter is noisy?

Noise may be due to a damaged, clogged, or improperly installed impeller. Replace or reinstall the impeller. Make sure the inlet valve is open and there is no air in the canister. Shake the filter body to release air.

Why is the water flow low?

Check that the inlet and outlet valves are fully open. Clean the inlet and outlet hoses and the PVC tube if dirty. Replace the filter material if clogged.

How to replace the UV lamp?

Unplug the device. Unscrew the fixing nut, remove the quartz sleeve, and replace the UV lamp. It is recommended to replace the lamp every 6 months for optimal efficiency.

How to clean the filter?

Unplug the device. Open the canister lid and remove the filter baskets. Clean the filter materials with clean water. Use a brush to clean the rotor holes. Clean the quartz tube with a soft cloth. Perform this every 15-20 days.

Can I use this filter with saltwater?

Yes, but you must periodically remove accumulated salt from the product and power cord to avoid electrical leakage. Follow regular cleaning instructions.

How to set the UV timer?

Touch the UV button to turn on the lamp. Continue touching to cycle through modes: 1st speed: 24h on; 2nd speed: 8h on, 8h off (16h cycle); 3rd speed: 4h on, 4h off (20h cycle); 4th speed: off.

What safety precautions should I follow?

Never look at the UV light source. Use the product below the waterline. Plug the cord in a 'U' shape to prevent water infiltration. Do not pull the cord. Ensure water pressure is between 0.01 and 0.03 MPa.

What is the recommended water pressure?

The water inlet pressure should be between 0.01 MPa (minimum) and 0.03 MPa (maximum) for proper operation.

6. The impeller is an easily worn-out item; it is suggested to replace it once per year.
7. To achieve the best UV effect, it is suggested to replace the UV light every half year.
8. This product should be used with water.
9. Please periodically (every 15-20 days) clean the filter material to remove the

dirt, which will result in low water flow.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Open the fixing buckle of the bucket cover, take out the filter basket, and add the cleaned filter.

1. Put back the filter basket.
2. Close the lid and fasten the fixing buckle.

1. Connect the water inlet pipe hose and fix it in the fish tank.
2. Connect the outlet pipe and hose and fix it in the fish tank.

1. The other end of the hose is connected to the water inlet and water outlet on the barrel respectively, and the nut is screwed to fix it.
2. Make sure that the flow adjustment is turned on to the maximum. Fill the fish tank with water, and ensure the water surface is at least 12 cm from the edge of the tank.

1. Pull the pump handle up and down 2 to 4 times to suck the water into the bucket.
2. After connecting to the power supply, check whether there is water leakage around the filter barrel. After 30 to 60 minutes of normal startup, check again for water leakage. If there is no problem, it can be used normally.
3. Touch the UV button to turn on the UV germicidal lamp, and touch it again to set the timer to turn on the germicidal lamp.

1st gear: 24h light on, normally open but not close. 2nd gear: 8h light on, 8 hours on and 16 hours off cycle. 3rd gear: 4h light on, 4 hours on and 20 hours off cycle. 4th gear: the light is off, normally off.

TIP:

When connecting PVC tubing, please make sure

the flexible tube is not twisted.

CLEANING AND REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Press the buttons on both ends of the water inlet and outlet to pull out the water inlet and outlet for cleaning.

1. Open the barrel cover and take out the filter material for cleaning or replacement.

1. Rotate the water drum cover to open the buckle, take out the clean or replace the new rotor as required. The rotor holes can be cleaned with a brush.

1. Unscrew the screw with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the cover for cleaning. After removing the germicidal lamp cover, wipe the quartz tube with a damp towel or clean water. Do not immerse the quartz tube when cleaning, to prevent water from flowing into the head line and causing a short circuit.

1. If you need to replace the UV lamp, you can twist off the fastening nut, remove the quartz sleeve, and remove the UV lamp for replacement.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Open the fastening buckle. 2. Remove the filter basket and cover the bucket, then pack the filter basket with the cleaned filter. Cover the bucket lid.

When connecting PVC tubing, please make sure

the flexible tube is not twisted.

Position canister filter on a flat place, do not slope or turn upside down.

When assembling the inlet pipe, please make sure the water in the tank is

above the minimum water level.

Canister filter must be placed on flat ground,

40~110cm below the water level.
