How to use the grounding mat?

Place the mat with the conductive leather side up and the fabric side down. Connect the grounding cord to the mat's snap, then plug the other end into the ground port of a wall outlet. For optimal use, the mat should be in direct contact with your bare skin, for example by sleeping on it or sitting on it.

Does the mat need electricity to work?

No, the grounding mat is a passive device. It does not use electricity. It simply connects you to the earth via the cord plugged into the ground port of a wall outlet.

How to clean the mat?

It is recommended to wipe the mat with a damp cloth soaked in plain or slightly soapy water. Avoid machine washing as it could damage the conductive fibers.

Can I use the mat on a bed?

Yes, you can place the mat on the bed horizontally or vertically, with the elastic straps going under the mattress to hold it in place. Make sure your bare skin is in contact with the leather side.

How to test if the mat is conductive?

Use the included test pen. Touch the pen's double contacts on the leather surface. If a red light appears on the tip, the mat contains conductive fibers. This does not check the grounding connection, but confirms the mat is conductive.

What are the benefits of grounding?

Grounding is believed to reduce inflammation, improve sleep, reduce stress, and promote recovery after exercise. Effects may vary among individuals.

Is the mat safe to use?

Yes, as long as you follow safety instructions: use only with the approved cord, avoid trip hazards, and always have direct skin contact. Do not use if the mat or cord is damaged.

What sizes are available?

The D0400033 model is available in several sizes: 68 x 99 cm, 68 x 152 cm, 68 x 198 cm, 137 x 188 cm, and 137 x 198 cm. Each size comes with a 4.5 m cord and a test pen. The large sizes (137 x 188 and 137 x 198) also include a European adapter.

Can I use the mat in a country with different outlets?

Yes, but you will need an adapter suitable for your country's wall outlet. Plug the cord into the adapter first, then into the outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

What to do if the mat arrives folded or with an odor?

It is normal for the mat to have creases and a slight odor after unpacking. Leave it flat on the floor for 24 hours; the creases and odor will disappear naturally.

First Time Usage

The Grounding Leather Mattress Cover features a breathable, lightweight design and is made from conductive, eco-friendly leather.

There may be wrinkles and a slight odor after rolling out the mat, and these wrinkles and bubbles may disappear naturally after settling on the floor for 24 hours.

It can be used on a chair to sit on behind your back on your lap or even while you sleep with direct skin contact, or sit on the mat and do yoga.

HOW TO GET STARTED

Step 1. Be sure the leather-like side (more smooth) goes up and the fabric goes down. Make contact with the wipe-able carbon leather-like side.

Step 2. place the Grounding Mattress Cover on the bed horizontally or vertical across, and the elastic straps should under the mattress.

You can test with a conductive test pen, and when the double contacts of the conductive test pen touch the leather surface of the grounding pad, a red lig appear on the tip of the pen to indicate that you have received a truly con product for proper grounding

Note: The test pen is only used to test whether the product con conductive fibers, and not to test whether the ground wire has b

connected. Even without connecting the ground wire, the tail light the test pen lights up, proving that our product contains conduct fibers!

Step 3. Connect one end of the cord to the stud on the Grounding Mattres

Step 4. plug the other end of grounding cord into the grounding port of wall. This step is for the customers who are using a North American socket. They use it directly without adapters.

Note: If used in other country, you have to use an adapter, please other end of the cord into the adapter firstly and then into the wall

SAFETY WARNING

Always use the mat with partial bare skin touched.. Use only Grounding appr connecting cord with a built-in internal safety feature. For your safety, locate connecting cord in such a way that it doesn't create a tripping hazard.

Storage and Cleaning

Our grounding mats can be placed flat or folded for storage.

Washing Suggestion: We typically don't recommend washing the Grounding Leather Mattress Cover in the washing machine, worry that would damage it. general cleaning, you can simply wipe off the Grounding Leather Mattress Co with a water dampened cloth. And just clean with foamy water.
