How to assemble the Alice cot?

Take the cot out of the bag, unfold the legs by pulling on opposite sides (the metal tabs should click). Turn the cot over, insert the zipped parts of the mattress and fasten the velcro. For the crib, attach the elevation with the zipper, buckle, slide on the cover, insert the reinforcement tubes, then place the mattress marked 'A' on the elevation.

What is the maximum weight for the upper position (crib)?

The upper position of the cot is suitable for children weighing up to 9 kg. Once the child starts sitting up independently, use only the lower position.

Can I use an extra mattress?

No, use only one mattress – the one provided with the cot. Adding a second mattress poses a suffocation risk.

How to clean the cot and mattress?

Wipe the frame and fabric with a damp cloth and air dry. Do not use chemicals, dry cleaning, or ironing. The mattress cover can be removed by opening the zipper and hand washed (without caustic agents).

Is the cot safe for a newborn?

Yes, in the upper position (crib) and with the elevation, the cot is suitable from birth. Ensure all locks are engaged and the mattress is securely fastened. Follow the safety warnings.

How to fold and store the cot?

Remove the mattress and elevation. Turn the cot over, press the metal tabs on each foot and fold the legs inward. Press the locking button on both sides and fold the cot in half. Store it in the provided bag.

Can the cot be used as a bedside sleeper?

Yes, the Alice cot is a 3-in-1 model including the bedside sleeper function. For this, use the lower position (without elevation) and place the cot against your bed. Ensure the side barrier is securely closed.

What to do if a part is missing or damaged?

Until what age is the cot usable?

The cot is designed for children from 0 to 36 months. However, stop using it once the child can get out of the cot by themselves (fall risk). The lower position is recommended as soon as the child can sit up.

Does the cot comply with European safety standards?

WARNING

2. Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
3. Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords.
4. Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
5. The cot is only ready for use when the locking devices are engaged. Check carefully to make sure that the locking devices are fully engaged before using the cot.
6. The safest setting for the cot is its lowest position, which should be used as soon as the baby starts to sit up independently.
7. The higher position of the cot is suitable for children weighing up to 9kg . When the child starts to sit up independently, only the lower position should be used.
8. Before lowering the cot to its lowest position, remove the elevation supports.
9. Always ensure that all mounting components are securely tightened, and regularly inspect and tighten the joints as needed.
10. The cot should never be used by children who can climb out of it on their own, as this poses a risk of falling and serious injury.

COT/PLAYPEN ASSEMBLY

1. Take the travel cot out of the bag.
2. Position the cot on the floor with the legs facing up and pull them apart in opposite directions (Fig. 1). Ensure that the metal tabs have locked into place (Fig. 2).
3. Flip the cot over and insert the zipped sections 'A' and 'B' of the mattress into the travel cot (Fig. 3). Secure the mattress by fastening the Velcro straps on the two shorter sides of the mattress (use dedicated fastening slots in the base).

INSTALLATION OF ELEVATION

Fasten the elevation with the zip (Fig. 4). Once fastened, secure the zip with the buckle (Fig. 5) and enclose with the Velcro-fastened cover. Connect the elevation stabilising bars together (Fig. 6) and then place the mattress marked 'A' on the elevation (Fig. 7). Ensure the Velcro straps on the mattress and base are securely connected.

COT DISASSEMBLY

1. Remove the mattress from the cot.
2. To dismantle the elevation, disconnect the elevation stabilising bars (Fig. 6) and then unfasten the zip (Fig. 8).
3. Turn the cot over, then gently move each leg while pressing the metal tabs on both sides of the leg and folding them inward (Fig. 9).
4. Press the locking button on both sides of the cot, then fold the cot in half (A, Fig. 10).

CLEANING

For cleaning, wipe the cot with a damp cloth and allow it to dry. Do not dry-clean or use harsh cleaning agents. Do not tumble dry; do not iron. To remove the mattress cover, unfasten the zip.

The product has been tested and meets all standard requirements: EN 716-1:2017+AC:2019, EN 1130:2019+AC:2020, EN 16890:2017+A1:2021, EN 12227:2010.
