WARNING
Be sure to read and understand the safety information that comes with this product or download the safety information from our website. If you have any doubts, questions or concerns regarding this helmet, contact your local BBB dealer.
- This helmet is specifically designed and developed for Speed Pedelec cyclists (NTA8776). Apart from that, this helmet can also be used for regular cycling, skateboarding and rollerskating. It is not intended for use in motor sports or by motor cyclists
- This helmet has been designed to be retained by a strap under the lower jaw
- This helmet should not be used by children while climbing or doing other activities when there is a risk of strangling/hanging if the child gets trapped with the helmet
- Helmets cannot fully protect the wearer against all possible impacts. Even a low speed accident can result in a serious personal injury or death. This helmet doesn't protect the neck and other areas of the head, which it does not cover.
- Do not modify or remove any original parts of the helmet, unless it has been designed to be removable
- All BBB helmets have been designed to absorb
shocks/impacts by partial destruction of the helmet shell and liner. This damage may not always be visible. Protection may not be adequate in future impacts. We therefore strongly recommend having your helmet replaced after an impact. Any helmet you replace for safety reasons, must be destroyed
- Do not apply decals, stickers, paint, petroleum, hydro carbides, solvents or detergents on the helmet. The helmet may be damaged by these products while it appears undamaged
- The helmet liner is made of EPS foam. The outer shell is made of PC, PVC or ABS. It may be penetrated by sharp objects
- A cap, hat, scarf, headphones, barrettes or anything else which is under the helmet while wearing the helmet will reduce the protections against impacts
FITTING
Almost all BBB helmets are available in different sizes. Select the size, which fits you best. A correctly fitted helmet should be comfortable and nor move forwards to obscure vision, neither move backwards to expose the forehead.
- Position the helmet on your head as illustrated
EN
(Fig. 1). Make sure the helmet is positioned in horizontal position to protect the forehead. Never wear a helmet tipped back to expose your forehead.
-
Turn the wheel clockwise till you reach the right fit. Loosen the helmet by turning the retention system counter clockwise. (Fig. 2) In some BBB helmets you can also reach the right fit by changing the position of the retention system on the inside of both sides of the helmets.
-
Open the Cam-Lock adjusters (Fig. 3a). Slide the straps through the adjusters until it is located slightly below the ears. Make sure there is no slack in the straps. Make sure the straps do not run over the ears and close the Cam-Lock adjusters after you've reached the right fit. (Fig. 3b)
-
Adjust the chin buckles so the system can be buckled. (Fig. 4a) After riding the buckle can easily be released (Fig. 4b) Always make sure the chin strap is placed against the throat. Never position the chin strap on the point of the chin. (Fig. 4c) Make sure the loose ends of the strap runs through the rubber ring. (Fig. 4d)
-
Once the helmet is adjusted, shake your head. If the helmet size is correct and the retention system and straps are set correctly, the helmet should not move too much on the head. If the helmets
moves, reset the retention system and straps or try a smaller sized BBB helmet. (Fig. 5)
- Before using the helmet, make sure it fits correctly and the chin buckle is buckled. (Fig. 6)
VISOR
If a removable visor is provided with the helmet, place it in front of the helmet and fasten it with the "click-in" pins. To remove the visor, pull the ends of the visor loose from the helmet and then lift away from the helmet. (Fig. 7)
MAINTENANCE
When cleaning your helmet only use cold water and mild soap and only wash the outer shell. or the longest life-span we recommend having your padding hand washed.
