By purchasing the SilverCrest SDR 1.5 A1 DAB+ pocket radio, hereinafter referred to as the digital radio, you have opted for a quality product.

Before first using it, familiarise yourself with the way the digital radio works and read these operating instructions through carefully. Be careful to follow the safety instructions and only use the digital radio as described in the operating instructions and for the applications given.

Keep these operating instructions in a safe place. If you pass the digital radio on to someone else, make sure to give them all the relevant documents with it. The User's Manual forms part of this product.

1. Intended use

This device is a consumer electronics device. It has been designed to re and play back analogue and digital radio stations. The device can also be used as a clock and as an alarm clock. It is suitable only for private use, not for industrial or commercial purposes. The device may also not be used in tropical climates. The manufacturer is not liable for any damage or problems caused by unauthorised modifications. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Observe the regulations and laws in the respective country of use.

Please note that country-specific regulations may exist with respect to the frequency bands that can be received. Any information received from frequency bands outside those that are explicitly free for public use may not be used nor may its contents be forwarded to any third parties.

2. Package contents

Remove the digital radio and all accessories from the packaging. Remove all packaging material and check that all parts are complete and undamaged. If you find anything missing or damaged, please contact the manufacturer.

WARNING! Batteries

Insert the batteries with the correct polarity. Refer to the diagram on the batteries and inside the battery compartment. Do not attempt to recharge the batteries and do not dispose of the batteries in a fire. Do not mix battery types (old and new or carbon and alkaline, etc.). Remove the batteries when the device is not to be used for an extended period. Improper use could cause explosions or leaks.

Batteries must never be opened or deformed, as this could result in chemical leaking out which could cause injuries. If the batteries have leaked, remove them to prevent damage to the device. You can wipe off any leaked battery fluid by using a dry, absorbing cloth. Always wear protective gloves! Avoid any skin contact. If the battery fluid comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical aid. Batteries can represent choking hazards. Batteries are not toys! Keep batteries out of reach of children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical help immediately.

ATTENTION! Cables

Unplug all cables by holding the plugs and never pull on the cables themselves. Never place pieces of furniture or other heavy objects on the cables and take care that they do not become damaged, especially at the plugs and sockets. Never install the cables around hot or sharp objects to avoid damaging them. Never tie knots in cables and do not tie them to other cables. All cables must be positioned so that nobody can trip over them or be obstructed by them.

ATTENTION! Repairs

Repairs are required if this device has been damaged in any way, for example if the device housing is damaged, if liquids or objects have penetrated the device or if the product has been exposed to rain or moisture. ■ there is free circulation of air (do not place the device on shelves, on a carpet, on a bed, or anywhere that obstructs the ventilation slots and leave at least 10 cm clearance on all sides),
■ no direct heat sources (e.g. radiators) affect the device,
■ no direct sunlight or bright artificial light reaches the device,
- contact with water spray and drops and aggressive fluids is avoided and the device is never operated near water. Also, the device must never be submerged, and do not place any items containing liquids, such as drinks, vases, etc. on or near the device,
- never place the device in the immediate vicinity of magnetic fields (e.g. loudspeakers),
■ there are no fire sources (e.g. burning candles) on or near the device,
■ there is no penetration by foreign bodies,
■ the device is not subject to major temperature fluctuations as this can cause condensation and short-circuits. If the device has been exposed to extreme temperature fluctuations, wait for it to reach the ambient temperature before switching it on (about 2 hours),
■ the device is not subjected to excessive shocks or vibrations.

Risks associated with excessive volume levels

Be careful when using headphones. Audio listening at high volume can harm the user's auditory system. Do not use headphones at high volume levels, otherwise you will damage your hearing and possibly disturb other people. Even if the headphones are designed to enable you to hear external noise, never turn the volume up so high that you cannot hear what is going on around you. Please note that ambient noise can be perceived in a different and unfamiliar way.

Do not use headphones in hazardous situations, e.g. when driving or riding a bike, working with machines or other situations which require your full attention. The sound may distract your attention or prevent you from being aware of what is happening around you.

8. Before you start

You can power the device either using the batteries (B) supplied or with a USB power adapter. The USB power adapter is not included in the package.

8.1 Inserting the batteries

Open the battery compartment cover (15) on the back panel of the device by sliding it towards the bottom in the direction shown by the arrow and remove it. Insert the batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -), as shown in the following figure. The correct polarity is labelled on the batteries and inside the battery compartment. Re-insert the cover of the battery compartment (15) and slide it upwards until it locks into place.

CAUTION! Remove the batteries when the device is not to be used for an extended period. The batteries could leak and damage the device.

8.2 Using the power adapter

In order to power the device with a USB power adapter (5 V, 500 mA, not supplied), connect the USB cable (C) supplied to the micro USB connection (13) on the digital radio and a free USB port on your USB power adapter.

If the digital radio is disconnected from the power, various settings (e.g. date and time) are lost. You can insert additional batteries to prevent this. Batteries cannot be recharged in the digital radio.

9. Commissioning and operation

9.1 Setting up the telescopic aerial (12)

To guarantee optimum radio reception, extend the telescopic aerial (12) to its full length. The telescopic aerial (12) can be rotated. This lets you optimise the radio reception.

9.2 Switching the digital radio on and off

Switch the digital radio on by pressing and holding the button (5) for approx. 3 seconds.

When the time and date are shown on the display (3), you can switch the digital radio on by briefly pressing the button (5).

When you first start it, the digital radio starts up in DAB mode and automatically scans for and saves all available DAB stations.

In battery mode, the display (3) shows the charge level of the batteries with a battery icon. Replace the batteries when they are empty.

In battery mode, the display (3) switches off after approx. 30 seconds (factory-default setting) if no buttons are pressed.

Press the button (5) briefly to switch off the digital radio.

9.3 Adjusting the volume

Press the VOL+ (4) and VOL- (10) buttons to adjust the volume. The current volume setting is shown on the display (3). The digital radio will always switch on at the volume level that was set when it was switched off.

9.4 Selecting the station

You can scroll through saved stations by pressing the 1◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 buttons (7).

9.5 Adjusting the display

The display (3) shows the name of the radio station, artist and track. Press the INFO / MENU button (2) several times to adjust the display. What is shown on the display is different in FM and DAB mode:

9.6 Sleep timer

The sleep timer function lets you set a time of between 15 and 90 minutes, after which the digital radio will switch off automatically.

  • Press and hold the ⏻/Z₂ button (5) for approx. 2 seconds until “15 minutes” is shown on the display (3).
  • The number of minutes increases every time you press the ⏻/Z _2 button (5). You can also scroll through the options by pressing the I◄◄ button (6) and ►►I button (7): “15 minutes”, “30 minutes”, “45 minutes” “60 minutes”, “90 minutes” and “Sleep off”. “Sleep off” disables the sleep timer.
  • Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm your selection.
  • When the Sleep Timer is activated, a clock icon is shown on the display (3). You can display the time remaining on the sleep timer by pressing the INFO / MENU button (2) several times to toggle what is shown on the display (3).
  • You can also cancel the sleep timer simply by switching the digital radio off.

9.7 Automatic station scan

Start automatic tuning by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) and holding it down for about 2 seconds. With this function, any stations found are saved automatically.

The unit only scans for DAB or for FM stations, depending on the mode selected.

9.8 Storing presets

You can save up to 30 stations or frequencies for each frequency band.

■ Tune in the station that you want to store.
- Press and hold the FAV / SEARCH button (11) for approx. 2 seconds until "Preset Store" is shown on the display (3).
- Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the preset where you want to store the station.
- Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to finish saving.

Please note that any station presets already used will be overwritten.

9.9 Selecting DAB/FM radio

Press the DAB/ FM button (9) to switch between DAB and FM radio. The current mode selected, either “DAB Radio” or “FM Radio” is shown briefly on the display (3).

9.10 DAB Radio

The following options are available in "DAB Radio" mode.

9.10.1 Recalling a saved station

You can recall stations you have saved to your favourites as follows:

■ Press the FAV / SEARCH button (11) briefly.
■ Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the station you want.
■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to display the selected station.

9.10.2 Complete scan

In the DAB Radio menu on the digital radio, you can start a station scan and configure various settings. Proceed as follows to start a complete station scan:

- Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.

- Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Full scan" option.

■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

■ The digital radio now automatically scans for and saves all available DAB stations.

You can also start an automatic station scan by pressing and holding the OK / AMS button (8) for about 2 seconds.

9.10.3 Manual tuning

This option in the DAB Radio menu lets you add stations in a group to the station list manually.

Please note that you can only enter frequencies manually if they can be received in your region.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Manual tune" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the frequency you want and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) twice.
  • The stations are now added to the station list automatically. No further messages are displayed.

9.10.4 DRC

In the DAB Radio menu, you can reduce the dynamic range between low and high-volume sounds as required.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "DRC" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

- Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select one of the following options:

9.10.5 Prune station list

You can use this option in the DAB Radio menu to remove invalid stations.

Invalid stations are stations which cannot be received from your location.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Prune" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select "Yes" or "No" and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

9.11 FM radio

The following options are available in "FM Radio" mode.

9.11.1 Scan setting

This option in the FM Radio menu lets you choose if the device scans for "strong" stations only or also for "weak" stations.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Scan setting" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select "All stations" or "Strong stations only" and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

9.11.2 Automatic tuning

Start automatic tuning by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) and holding it down for about 2 seconds. With this function, any stations found are saved automatically.

The unit only scans for DAB or for FM stations, depending on the mode selected.

9.11.3 Manual tuning

This function allows you to search for a channel without automatically saving it.

- Press and hold the I◀◀ (6) or ▶▶I (7) button for approx. 2 seconds to launch the station scan in the selected direction. The scan stops when the next station is found.

9.11.4 Manually tuning a station

Besides the automatic station search, you can also tune in a station manually. This allows you to also tune-in any weaker stations. Proceed as follows:

■ Press the FAV / SEARCH button (11) briefly.
- Briefly press the I◀◀ (6) or ▶▶I (7) button to increase or reduce the frequency one step (0.05 MHz).

9.11.5 Recalling a saved station

You can recall stations you have saved as follows:

- Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to toggle between the saved stations.

9.11.6 Audio setting

You can set the playback in FM Radio mode to "Stereo" or "Mono". Please note that stereo sound is only available if headphones are connected.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Audio setting" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

9.12 Settings

This menu allows you to configure further settings. Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds to enter the menu. Within the menu, you can navigate with the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons. Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm your selection. To go back one step in the me press the INFO / MENU button (2) briefly.

9.12.1 Setting the alarm

This menu allows you to set two alarm times. Verify that the clock displays the correct time.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 (7) buttons to select the "Alarm" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the “Alarm 1” or “Alarm 2” option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • The hour display flashes and you can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 (7) buttons to set the hour of your alarm time. You can keep the buttons pressed to accelerate the digits count. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.
  • The minute display flashes and you can now use the ◀◀◀ (6) and ▶▶│ (7) buttons to set the minutes of your alarm time. You can keep the buttons pressed to accelerate the digits count. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.

  • You can now set how long the alarm will sound by pressing the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 buttons (7). The following options are available: "15 minutes", "30 Minutes", "45 Minutes", "60 Minutes" and "90 Minutes". Press the OK/AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.

  • You can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select "DAB", "FM" or "Buzzer" for your alarm. Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm your selection.
  • If you have selected "DAB" or "FM", you can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the station you wish to wake up to. You can select the "Last listened" option or choose a station from your saved stations. Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm your selection.
  • Now you can select the days of the week for the alarm you have set. Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 (7) buttons to select the following options: "Daily", "Once", "Weekends" (Saturday and Sunday) or "Weekdays" (Monday to Friday). Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm your selection.

If you select "Once", you need to select the date directly. Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm.

  • You can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to set your alarm volume. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.
  • Finally, you can enable or disable the alarm. To do this, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the “Alarm on” or “Alarm off” option. Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm your selection.

If the alarm is enabled, there is a bell icon with a "1" (Alarm 1) and/or "2" (Alarm 2) on the display (3).

The alarm sound starts off quietly and gradually increases to the volume set. Press the button (5) briefly to stop the alarm or press OK / AMS (8) to snooze it for 5 minutes.

9.12.2 Setting the date and time

On delivery, automatic time synchronisation via DAB and FM is enabled. As soon as the digital radio receives signal after it is switched on, the date and time are synchronised automatically. The current station must support this function for it to work. Proceed as follows to set the date and time manually:

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Time" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Set Time/Date".
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • The hour display flashes and you can now use the 1◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 (7) buttons to set the hour. You can keep the buttons pressed to accelerate the digits count. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.
  • The minute display flashes and you can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 (7) buttons to set the minutes. You can keep the buttons pressed to accelerate the digits count. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.
  • The day display flashes and you can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to set the day. You can keep the buttons pressed to accelerate the digits count. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.
  • The month display flashes and you can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 (7) buttons to set the month. You can keep the buttons pressed to accelerate the digits count. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.
  • The year display flashes and you can now use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to set the year. You can keep the buttons pressed to accelerate the digits count. Press the OK/ AMS button (8) briefly to apply the setting.

9.12.3 Automatic time synchronisation

To adjust the settings for automatic time synchronisation, proceed as follows:

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Time" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Auto update" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the following options: "Update from Any" (update via DAB and FM), "Update from DAB", "Update from FM" or "No Update". Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly to confirm your selection.

The station selected must support automatic time synchronisation in order for this function to work.

9.12.4 Setting the clock format

Upon factory delivery the time format is set to 24 hours. To set the date format, proceed as follows:

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Time" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Set 12/24 hour" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Using the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons, select "Set 24 hour" or "Set 12 hour" and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

If you select the 12 hour format, the display (3) shows "AM" before the time in the morning or "PM" in the afternoon.

9.12.5 Setting the date format

To set the date format, proceed as follows:

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Time" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Set date format" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select "DD-MM-YYYY" or "MM-DD-YYYY" and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

9.12.6 Setting the display brightness

To adjust the display brightness, proceed as follows:

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Backlight" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I buttons (7) to select "High", "Medium", "Low" or "Off" and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

9.12.7 Automatic display power-off

You can switch the automatic power-off of the display (3) on or off here.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Auto lighting" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

- Using the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons, select "On" (display switches off after approx. 30 seconds) or "Off" (display does not switch off) and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

Please note that this setting only applies in battery mode. The display (3) never switches off when using a power adapter.

9.12.8 Selecting the language

Here, you can select the language for the digital radio.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the ◀◀◀ (6) and ▶▶│ (7) buttons to select the "Language" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶1 (7) buttons to select the language you want and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly. The following languages are available: English, German, Italian, French, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Polish, Portuguese, Czech, Slovenian and Slovakian.

9.12.9 Factory reset

This option allows you to restore the factory settings for your digital radio. Please note that all custom settings and saved stations will be lost.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "Factory Reset" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
  • Use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select "Yes" or "No" and confirm your selection by pressing the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.

9.12.10 SW version

This option allows you to display the software version on the digital radio.

  • Press and hold the INFO / MENU button (2) for approx. 2 seconds.
  • In the System menu, use the I◀◀ (6) and ▶▶I (7) buttons to select the "SW version" option.
    ■ Press the OK / AMS button (8) briefly.
    ■ The current software version installed is displayed.

9.13 Connecting headphones

Be careful when using headphones. Listening at a high volume can damage your hearing.

You can connect headphones (not supplied) with a 3.5 mm jack connector to the headphone jack 📞(14). The loudspeaker (1) is switched off if headphones are connected.

9.14 Storage when not in use

If you will not be using the digital radio for a long period of time, remove any batteries. If an optional power adapter is used, first disconnect it from the digital radio.

Store the digital radio in a dry, cool place.

10. Troubleshooting

The device does not switch on.

  • The inserted batteries may be empty, fit new batteries.
  • Test that the batteries are fitted with the correct polarity. Please note the diagram in the battery compartment and on the batteries. See also the chapter "Inserting the batteries".
  • If using a USB power adapter: Check that the USB power adapter is correctly inserted into the mains socket. The USB cable (C) must also be connected to your USB power adapter and the digital radio.

No radio reception, poor radio reception

  • Pull the telescopic aerial (12) all the way out and make sure it is orientated correctly.
  • Tune in the station correctly. If necessary, start a new station search.

Device switched on but no sound

  • Check the volume setting.
  • While headphones are plugged in, the built-in speaker (1) is muted automatically.

No alarm sound or alarm sound too low

- Check the alarm sound volume in the alarm settings and, if necessary, set a higher volume.

11. Environmental regulations and disposal information

A symbol depicting a crossed-out rubbish bin on a product means it is subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU. All electrical and electronic devices must be disposed of separately from household waste at official disposal centres. Remove the batteries before disposal of the device. With the proper disposal of old or defective devices you avoid damage to the environment and your personal health. For further information about proper disposal, contact your local government, disposal bodies or the shop where you bought the device.

Disposal of packaging

Dispose of all packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Cardboard packaging can be taken to paper recycling centres or public collection points for recycling. Any film or plastic contained in the packaging should be taken to your public collection points for disposal.

Please note the markings on the packaging material when disposing of it, it is labelled with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b), the meanings of which are as follows:

1-7: plastic / 20-22: paper and cardboard / 80-98: composite materials.

Disposal of batteries

Respect the environment. Old batteries must not be disposed of with domestic waste. Faulty or spent batteries must be recycled in accordance with Regulation 2006/66/EG and any amendments to it. They must be handed in at a collection battery. Please note that batteries must be disposed of fully discharged at appropriate collection points for old batteries. To prevent any short circuits cover the battery poles of not fully discharged batteries with insulating tape.

Environmental damage through incorrect disposal of batteries!

Do not dispose of any batteries with domestic waste. They can contain toxic heavy metals and must be handled as specialist waste. The chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as follows: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead. Always take spent batteries to a local collection point.

This device is sold with three years warranty from the date of purchase. Please keep the original receipt in a safe place as proof of purchase. Before using your product for the first time, please read the enclosed documentation. Should any problems arise which cannot be solved in this way, please call our hotline. Please have the article number and, if available, the serial number to hand for all enquiries. If it is not possible to solve the problem on the phone, our hotline support staff will initiate further servicing procedures depending on the fault. Within the warranty period the product will be repaired or replaced free of charge as we deem appropriate. No new warranty period commences if the product is repaired or replaced. Consumables such as batteries, rechargeable batteries and lamps are not covered by the warranty.

Your statutory rights towards the seller are not affected or restricted by this warranty.
