- Ensure that the voltage of the power supply matches the specifications of the cooker. Use a suitable outlet.
- Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges to prevent damage.
- Ensure the cooker is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Avoid blocking the steam vents.
- Ensure that the cooker is properly seated in the base to prevent liquid spills, which could damage it.
- Ensure a safe distance between the cooker and flammable materials, such as clothing, curtains, or paper.
- Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated in the inner pot to prevent overflow during cooking.
- The cooker is designed for electric use only; do not place it on a stovetop or other heat source.
- Only use the inner pot and any additional accessories provided with the cooker. Do not use metal utensils that may scratch the non-stick surface.
- Only use ingredients specified for rice cooking. Avoid using ingredients that may damage the inner pot.
- Upon initial use, a smoky smell may occur as protective coatings or films on the cooker's parts burn off. This process is normal and ensures proper product function and safety.
- The exterior of the cooker may become hot during use. Use caution when handling and allow it to cool before cleaning.
- Be careful when opening the lid, as hot steam may escape and cause burns. Always open the lid away from your face.
- Never leave the cooker unattended while plugged in, especially when it is turned on.
- Do not leave cooked rice in the cooker for extended periods. Transfer leftovers to a separate container and refrigerate promptly.
• Always unplug the cooker when not in use. - Let the cooker cool down completely before storing it to prevent damage or fire hazards.
- Store the cooker in a dry place when not in use. Avoid storing it in damp or humid areas.
- Do not immerse the cooker in water or any other liquids. Always keep it away from water and ensure it is unplugged before cleaning.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Using an extension cord with the product is not recommended. However, if one must be used:
- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.
WARNING: The product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) to reduce the risk of electrical shock, which is a safety feature. The plug is designed to fit into a polarized outlet in only one direction. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, try reversing it. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug or attempt to bypass its safety features.
