Before using the unit, be sure to read all operating instructions carefully. Please note that these are general precautions and may not pertain to your unit.

  1. Read these instructions.
  2. Keep these instructions.
  3. Heed all warnings.
  4. Follow all instructions.
  5. Do not use this product near water and moisture, for example: near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink or laundry tub; in a wet basement; or near a swimming pool. No objects such as vases should be placed on the unit.
  6. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners. It may damage the screen. Use a dry cloth for cleaning only.
  7. Slots and openings in the cabinet and in the back or bottom are provided for ventilation, to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. The openings should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat source.   1. Do not overload wall outlets and extension cords as this can result in a risk of fire or electric shock. Use only power source as indicated.
  2. Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could result in fire or electric shock. Never spill or spray any type of liquid on the product.
  3. Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  4. Upon completion of any service or repairs to this product, ask the service technician to perform safety checks to determine that the product is in proper operating condition.
  5. Do not use the product near inflammable or explosive sources.
  6. Keep the device out of direct sunlight and away from other sources of extreme heat or cold.

  17. Batteries should be disposed properly. Take them to the collection container in order to protect the environment.

UNPACKING THE DEVICE

When unpacking, ensure that the following elements are included:

1 x Bluetooth® Karaoke trolley with light effects

1 x AC/DC adaptor

1 x Mic

1 x Remote control

1 x Instruction manual

1 x AUX in cable

WARNING: All packaging materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties and tags are not part of this product and should be discarded.

SPEAKER POWER SOURCE

The Bluetooth® Karaoke System operates on AC100-240V\~ 60/50Hz.

  1. Make sure the speaker is off.
  2. Insert the adaptor cable into the socket at the back of the device and plug the other end into any convenient AC\~100-240V, 50/60Hz power outlet.
  3. While charging, the indicator lights up in red and turns blue once the battery is fully charged.
  4. Disconnect the cable once charging is complete. The indicator will turn off.

Note:

The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible. Please disconnect the mains plug from the AC outlet if the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of time.

WARNING: Malfunction or loss of memory may be caused by strong frequency interference or electrostatic discharge. Should any abnormal function occur, unplug the unit from the mains socket and plug it back in.

WARNING:

  • Risk of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Please only replace it with an identical or an equivalent battery. (For Service instructions only; battery is not intended to be replaced by the USER).
  • The battery should not be exposed to high temperatures, such as sunlight, fire or anything similar.

BATTERIES INFORMATION FOR REMOTE CONTROL

Your Bluetooth® system remote control works with 1 x CR2025 3V type battery (included).

Replacing the battery:

  1. To open the battery compartment, push the tab sideway and pull the compartment downwards.
  2. Install the 1 x CR2025 3V battery (included).
  3. Insert the compartment back in the remote control rear panel.

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the product for a long period of time. Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

Do not ingest the battery, Chemical Burn Hazard

The remote control supplied with this product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Note: Aim the remote control at the infra-red receptor located on the back and front of the unit, within a range of 5 meters.

Ensure no obstacle will block the connection between the remote control and the receptors.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS

TURNING ON/OFF

Flip the ON/OFF switch, located at the rear of the device, to turn the Karaoke device on and off.

FUNCTIONS

The Bluetooth® Karaoke System features four functions: Bluetooth®, AUX-IN, USB and TF/SD card.

  1. Power on the unit and press MODE button successively to toggle between the four functions.
  2. Once selected, the function's name will appear on the display as follows: «BLUE» for Bluetooth®, «USB», «SD» and «AUX».

Please refer to the next chapter "BLUETOOTH SET UP" for detailed instructions on this mode.

Port USB

In USB mode, the Bluetooth® Karaoke System can read from the USB drive the following file types: MP3, WMA.

  1. Power on the unit insert a USB Flash Drive (not included) into the USB port, ensuring the plug is fully inserted in the correct way. The Bluetooth® speaker will automatically play music from the USB.

  2. Press play/pause button to pause or resume playback. When pausing, the display shows II.

  3. Press shortly previous or next button to play the desired track. Or press and hold previous or next button to fast-rewind or fast-forward and release the button for playback.

You can also control playback from the remote control.

  1. To exit the USB function, remove the USB flash drive or press MODE button on the back panel or on the remote control.

TF/SD card

  1. Insert a TF/SD card (not included) into the TF/SD card slot, ensuring the plug is correctly inserted. The unit will automatically play music from the TF/SD card.

  2. Press play/pause button to pause or resume playback. When pausing, the display shows II.

  3. Press shortly previous or next button to play the desired track. Or press and hold previous or next button to fast-rewind or fast-forward and release the button for playback.

You can also control playback from the remote control.

  1. To exit the TF/SD mode, remove the TF/SD card or press MODE button on the back panel or on the remote control.

Note: When USB and SD card inserted at the same time, the last one inserted will be played in priority. To toggle from USB to SD card and vice versa, press MODE button and select the USB or TF/SD mode.

AUX IN

  1. Connect your audio device to the speaker system via an AUX IN cable (included).

  2. You can also control playback with your audio player.

  3. To stop the AUX-IN function, press MODE button.

Note: When the AUX IN function is activated, the PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons on the speaker are disabled. Please use the control buttons on your music player to get the best control experience of the music.

Previous/Next

In USB, TF/SD and Bluetooth® modes:

  1. Press shortly the previous track button (PREV) to get back to the previous track.

  2. Press shortly the next track button to listen to the next track.

You can also use the remote control for this feature.

HSITGNE

Volume

Rotate the VOLUME knob to the right to increase (+) or to the left to decrease (-) the volume. You can also use the volume buttons on the remote control.

CAUTION: Too high volume can damage your hearing. For this reason, please turn the volume down.

Repeating tracks in USB and TF/SD modes:

  1. Press once the repeat button on the back panel of the unit or on the remote control, to repeat the track you are listening to. « ONE » will show on the display.

  2. To repeat all tracks press a second time the repeat button. « ALL » will show on the display.

Music style setting

Treble/ Bass adjustment

Rotate the treble knob / bass knob on unit to increase or decrease the treble/ bass effect that best matches your music style.

Equalizer control

This device includes an equalizer, press the EQ button to select the configuration that best matches your music style among Pop (POP), Rock (ROC), Jazz (JAZ), Classic (CLA), Country (CUT) or Flat (FLA).

Light effects

Press the light button to activate and desactivate the light effects on the front of the unit.

Your audio player must support the A2DP Bluetooth® profile to match this Bluetooth® Karaoke System. Please refer to your audio player's instruction manual for accurate information about the Bluetooth® profiles it supports, and how to set up Bluetooth® pairing.

  1. Turn the unit on, then press the MODE button repeatedly until the screen displays "BLUE". A signal sound will be emitted to indicate the unit is ready to be paired.
  2. Activate the Bluetooth® function on your personal device and make sure it is in discoverable mode.
  3. Confirm pairing or select the Bluetooth® name "K8250" to connect your player to the speaker. Input the password 0000 if required.
  4. If pairing is successful, you will hear a double signal tone. You can play an audio or a video file. Adjust the sound volume level using the keys on your personal device or the volume knob of the speaker.
  5. To disconnect the Bluetooth®, press "MODE" button or disconnect the Bluetooth® function on your personal device.

Notes:

  • If you exit the Bluetooth® function to choose another function on the unit and select it again later, the speaker will automatically reconnect with the device it has previously synchronized with.
  • When turned on, the speaker automatically searches for a device that it has previously synchronized with.
  • The Bluetooth® speaker only connects to one device at a time.

Notes: Some music players do not fully support Bluetooth® audio controls. Play/pause, previous and next buttons on the Bluetooth® speaker may not respond. The music player may also turn off.

To get the best control experience in the said player, use the on-screen track controls of your music player rather than those on the speaker.

KARAOKE FUNCTION

Microphone

The Bluetooth® speaker includes a karaoke feature with microphone (included).

  1. Turn on the device and set up the function desired. The microphone works with all functions: Bluetooth®, AUX IN and TF/SD card.
  2. Insert the microphone cable into the mic jack and push the on/off button on the mic to « on » position to power it.
  3. Rotate the mic volume knob on the unit to increase (+) or decrease (-) the microphone volume.

Note: Do not bring the microphone too close to the speakers as it may cause audio feedback (squealing noise) through the speakers.

Microphone echo adjustment

Rotate the mic echo knob on the unit to increase or decrease the microphone echo effect.

MAINTENANCE

To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the power source when cleaning. The finish on your unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture. Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with plain, lukewarm water to clean the exterior of the unit. Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts. Mild soap and a damp cloth may be used on the front panel.

WARRANTY

This product is covered by our 2 years warranty program, except for the integrated battery which is covered by a 6-month warranty.

For any claim under the warranty or after sale service, please contact your distributor and present a valid proof of purchase. Our warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect, with the exception of any deterioration arising from the non-observance of the instruction manual or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition to heat and humidity, etc.). It is recommended to keep the packaging for any further reference.
