How do I pair my phone with the Sogo SS-8422 transmitter?

Activate Bluetooth on your phone, search for devices, select "SOGO SS-8422" and use code "0000" if prompted. Pairing is automatic once the code is entered.

How do I adjust the FM frequency?

On the device, press and hold the center button until the frequency flashes, then turn the button to change it. With the remote, use CH+ or CH- in 0.1 MHz steps or directly enter the digits and confirm with CH+.

Why is there no sound or is the sound static?

Check that your radio is tuned to the same frequency as the transmitter. Choose a free frequency in your area. Make sure the device is properly plugged in and the volume is sufficient.

How do I use a USB drive or Micro SD card?

Insert the USB drive or Micro SD card into the corresponding port (USB2 or SD slot). Playback starts automatically. Use the control buttons to navigate between tracks.

How do I make a hands-free call?

When a call comes in, press the call button to answer. To hang up, press again. You can also press twice to redial the last number. During the call, the built-in microphone picks up your voice.

Does the device charge my phone?

Yes, the Sogo SS-8422 has two USB charging ports: one 5V/2.4A and one 5V/1A. Plug in your USB cable to charge your device while using the transmitter.

How do I change the track repeat mode?

On the device or remote, press the Mode button (or equivalent) to switch between Normal, Single Repeat, All Repeat, and Random. The icon changes on the display.

How do I select an equalizer (EQ)?

Use the remote: press the EQ button to cycle through presets: Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Vocal. The setting applies immediately to the transmitted sound.

What should I do if the remote control does not work?

Check the batteries of the remote (type not specified). Point the remote at the infrared sensor of the device. Make sure there is no obstruction. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

Is it normal for the transmitter to heat up?

Slight warmth is normal during charging. If the device becomes very hot, unplug it and let it cool down. Avoid using it in a place exposed to direct sunlight or near a heat source.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

Using FM Transmitter function:

1. Plug the FM transmitter into your vehicle's cigarette lighter or power port.
2. Tune your radio to an unused FM frequency (as pics advised), then match the same frequency of this unit.

1. Insert Micro SD card or USB disk which containing MP3 files into the card/USB 2 slot (please follow the pic USB2). It will play and transmit the file automatically. Follow the pics as attached to control your music easily.

Using Bluetooth function:

1. Using Bluetooth for the first time, you need to pair your mobile phone with this unit. Activate your mobile phone's Bluetooth function, then search new device. When the mobile phone detects this unit (named as "SOGO SS-8422"), please pair and connect by using the original password "0000"

2. In the music playing mode, when there is an incoming call, this unit will automatically switch to telephone mode.

Bluetooth calling

1. Please press to answer the incoming call.

2. Please press to hang off a call.

3. Press twice to dial the last Number automatically.

4. When making a call, you can only dial the phone number by your mobile phone, but once the call connected, you can use the hands free function to enjoy it.
