PRODUCT SAFETY

IMPORTANT NOTES ON CORRECT USE

1. This appliance is intended exclusively for the processing of food for domestic consumption.

2. This appliance is intended for domestic use and similar applications, such as:

* kitchen areas of shop staff, offices and other working environments;
* agrotourism

*customers of hotels, guesthouses and other residential environments;

*rooms like bed and breakfast.

1. This product is not a toy.

2. Do not leave parts of the packaging (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, etc.) within reach of children or dependant persons, as these objects are potential sources of danger (e.g.: risk of suffocation).

3. Use the product for the sole purpose for which it was designed. The manufacturer is not liable for damage or injury caused by improper use.

4. Unauthorised repairs or modifications will invalidate the warranty.

5. Do not use outdoors.

6. Never leave the appliance unattended.

7. Do not place on or near a gas or electric stove, or in a hot oven.

8. Do not fill the bowl with boiling liquids (temperature above 70 °C).

9. Do not use the appliance with an empty bowl and do not use the bowl with only solid and hard ingredients.

10. Always pour in liquid ingredients before adding solid ones.

11. To avoid overheating, do not exceed the maximum permitted food level indicated on the bowl.

12. Do not place the appliance in operation against walls or under shelves, tables, etc. at last 15 cm around the appliance and 50 cm above.

13. Before use, place the appliance on a solid, flat and horizontal surface.

14. Do not move the appliance while it is in operation.

15. To disconnect the appliance, disconnect the plug from the power outlet.

16. Never put the motor body in the dishwasher.

17. Use only original or manufacturer-recommended spare parts and accessories.

DANGER

PRODUCT

1. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the voltage available in your home. Connect the appliance to a power outlet equipped with efficient grounding. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any accidents caused by the lack of grounding of the system.
2. The appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or without experience or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance and the understanding of the hazards inherent thereto. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance intended to be carried out by the user shall not be carried out by children without supervision.
3. Supervise the children so that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Do not use the appliance with an empty bowl to avoid damaging the heating elements and causing the appliance to overheat.
5. Disconnect the appliance from the outlet when it is not in operation.
6. Do not block ventilation grids with metal tools as they may cause a fire or risk of electric shock.
7. Before turning on the appliance, make sure the power switch is in position "0" (off) and that all the accessories have been correctly attached.
8. Incorrect use of the product can cause damage or injury.
9. In order to avoid electric shocks, do not immerse the body of the product in water or other liquids.
10. Do not attempt in any way to touch and/or pullout whisks or hooks while the appliance is in operation.
11. Do not use the appliance when wearing clothes with wide and long sleeves because these may get caught on the whisks and hooks.
12. This product does not contain repairable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself if it has fallen or has been damaged in some way. Have maintenance performed by a qualified service centre using only identical spare parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
13. Do not use the appliance at high temperatures, in very humid or wet

environments or in the vicinity of flammable material.

1. Do not clean using metal scourers. Parts can detach from the base and come into contact with the electrical parts, causing the risk of electric shock.

2. Do not insert paper, cardboard, plastic and the like inside the appliance.

3. Do not use the appliance for more than 10 consecutive minutes. Wait 10 minutes before proceeding with a second work cycle. To avoid overheating, wait for the appliance to cool completely.

CABLE AND PLUG

1. The power cord must be connected to an AC electrical outlet (standard household current). Do not use other electrical outlets.

2. In case of incompatibility between the socket and the plug of the appliance, have the socket replaced by another suitable type by qualified personnel. The use of adapters, multiple sockets, and/or extensions is not recommended. Should their use be necessary, use only simple or multiple adapters and extensions complying with the current safety standards, taking care not to exceed the power limit marked on the adapter and/or extension.

3. Do not use the power cord if damaged.

4. Use only the power cord supplied in the package.

5. In order to avoid electric shock, do not immerse the power cord in water or other liquids.

6. The power cord should be used in a dry and clean place. Use in wet or dirty environments may lead to risks of fire, electric shock or electrocution.

7. Do not touch the cable or power plug with wet hands.

8. Do not let the cable dangle or fall down from a countertop.

9. Be careful not to pull or trip over the power cord. Keep the cable away from sources of heat, hot objects or open flames.

10. During operation, the power outlet must be easily accessible in case the appliance needs to be disconnected.

11. Disconnect the cable from the power outlet before cleaning and when the appliance is not in use. To disconnect, turn off the appliance, then remove the plug from the wall outlet. Don't pull the cable but grab the plug.

12. Always connect the plug to the appliance first, then connect the cable

to the wall outlet. Make sure the cable is fully extended.

1. The cable should not be twisted or wrapped around the appliance.
2. Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. Do not attempt repairs yourself. Contact your dealer for repair/replacement, if under warranty, or customer support.
3. Do not use extension cables or timer devices.

BEFORE FIRST USE

1. Remove the different components from the packaging, check that they are complete and intact, carefully remove any protections and labels. The package contains:

6. Make sure that all parts are assembled correctly and in place before use.

7. Before using the appliance, it is recommended to wash all removable parts that will come into contact with food, following the instructions in the section "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".

USE

The appliance is intended for the following uses:

1. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
2. Make sure that the non-slip feet with suction cups are firmly attached to the surface.
3. Check that the selection knob is positioned on the speed "0".
4. Press the unlock button, then lift the arm of the appliance.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Do not lift the arm of the appliance while in operation.

1. Place the bowl on the base (3) and lock it as indicated by the arrow.

2. Insert the desired accessory in the appropriate slot and be careful to correctly align the pin of the accessory with the slot; push it up and rotate it counterclockwise to fix it and make it secure.

- Accessories can be attached on one shaft or the other.

- Only the hooks can be used simultaneously to knead (8) and (9).

1. Press the unlock button (5), then push down the arm and lock it firmly.

2. Place the splash cover on the bowl (2).

3. Connect the appliance to a power outlet.

4. Turn on the appliance by using the selection knob (6) to select the desired speed.

5. After use, bring the control knob (6) to the speed "0".

6. Press the unlock button (5) and lift the arm, then disassemble the accessory by pushing it up and turning it clockwise.

GUIDE TO USE

IMPORTANT NOTES

- Overload protection system

The engine is protected from overheating by a thermal protector. If the appliance is overloaded or used continuously for too long, the engine may overheat and stop. To put the appliance back into operation, you need to turn it off, disconnect it from the power outlet and let it cool for at least 30 minutes. Once the engine is fully cooled, the appliance can be reused.

- Security systems

The engine will not start if the arm is lifted. If it is lifted during normal operation, the safety switch will activate and the engine will switch off immediately. In addition, if the appliance is connected while the selection knob (6) is not set to “0”, the security system will prevent the operation of the appliance.

In both cases, to restart the application, return the arm to the locking position, return the selection knob (6) to "0" and then select a speed again. The appliance should now work normally.

USEFUL TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS

• To avoid splashing, start working at the lowest speed and gradually increase.
• Do not let the amount of liquids or ingredients exceed the maximum level of the bowl.
  • Always use clean accessories.
• When using eggs, make sure they are fresh and at room temperature.
• Cold foods (butter, eggs, etc.) must be brought to room temperature before being processed.
• Be careful not to mix too hard dough (for example if the accessories do not rotate correctly) in order not to damage the engine of the appliance.
• The mixing time and its result will be affected by the temperature of the foods used.
• Break ingredients such as butter or margarine into smaller pieces to facilitate processing.
• Slowly add the ingredients to the dough so as to avoid "disassembling" the processing carried out.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, make sure that the selection knob is in "0" position, always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and let it cool completely.

Cleaning

• Clean the motor body and base with a damp cloth. Add mild detergent if very dirty.
• The hooks, paddles and whisks and lid can be washed with hot water and dishwashing detergent.
• The bowl can be washed in a dishwasher without exceeding the temperature of 55 °C , or washed by hand with hot water and dishwashing detergent. It is recommended to wash by hand to keep the characteristics of the materials unchanged.

DANGER! Do not put the motor body and accessories in the washer or soak in liquids.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Do not use chemical detergents, steel wool or abrasive cleaners for cleaning.

Storing

• Make sure all parts are clean and dry before storing them.
• Never store the appliance when it is still wet.
• It is recommended to store the appliance in a dry place, clean and away from moisture and dust.

TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM	SOLUTION
The appliance is not working.	Check that the plug of the appliance is correctly inserted into the socket.
At the end of the processing the flour is not well mixed with the dough.	Turn off the appliance, remove it from the bowl and quickly knead by hand to mix all the flour. Resume processing with hooks for a minute.
The cream is not well whipped.	Use fresh and cold cream from the refrigerator.
The problem is not solved.	Contact the retailer or customer service.

RECIPES

BREAD

Ingredients:

500 g flour "00"

350 g water

10 g fresh brewer's yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon sugar

time: Two and a half hours

doses: 1 loaf

1. Put the water at room temperature, sugar and crumbled brewer's yeast into the bowl of the mixer and combine.
2. Use the flat paddle at medium-low speed, add the flour little at a time and the salt, combining well before adding more.
3. When the mixture begins to thicken, turn off the appliance and replace the paddle with a dough hook; work until all the flour is mixed into the dough and again for a few minutes, until you have a uniform and elastic dough that is moist and sticky. Put it on a floured surface, fold it over several times and lay it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

4. Let rise in a cool oven with the light on until the volume is doubled, put it back on the floured surface and fold several times again. Sprinkle the dough with some flour and repeat the folding. Form a loaf.

5. Let rise in a closed oven for another 20 minutes. Use a sharp knife to make shallow cuts on the top of the loaf and let rise for another 20 minutes.

6. Preheat the oven to 200 °C with fan. Put a small bowl of water at the bottom to help humidify your dough.
7. Bake the loaf for 30 minutes, then remove the bowl of water and bake for another 5 minutes until golden brown.
8. Take out and let cool on a rack.

MAYONNAISE

Ingredients:1 egg1 yolklemon juice to taste100 ml olive oil100 ml sunflower oilsalt and pepper to taste

time: 10 minutesdoses: 250 ml

1. Using the ingredients at room temperature, combine the egg, yolk and lemon juice in the bowl of the mixer and whisk with the whip whisk at high speed, until the mixture is foamy and homogeneous.
2. Then add the two oils: while mixing, pour them in the bowl.
3. Once finished and when the mixture is thickened, add salt and pepper and, if needed, a little more lemon juice.

INFORMATION ON DISPOSAL

PRODUCT

Pursuant to art. 26 of Legislative Decree No. 49 of 14 March 2014 “Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)”, the presence of the wheeled bin symbol indicates that this product is not to be considered urban waste: Non-separate disposal can be a potential harm to the environment and health. This product may be returned to the distributor upon purchase of a new appliance.

Improper disposal of the product constitutes fraudulent conduct and is subject to sanctions by the Public Safety Authority. For more information, please contact the local environmental authority.

For information on how to properly dispose of the packaging that protects this product and its parts and/or accessories, follow the instructions in the packaging.

"TOGNANA" SMALL APPLIANCES WARRANTY

The Company Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. thanks its Customers for their choice and guarantees that its appliances are the result of the latest technologies and research.

This warranty applies only to small appliances marked with the "Tognana" brand and is valid as a conventional warranty pursuant to Article 135-quinquies of the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206 of 6 September 2005). This warranty does not in any way affect the rights expressly provided for in favour of the consumer by the regulations on the sale of consumer movable goods, whether Italian or of the consumer's country of residence: the consumer can therefore always assert his rights against the retailer from which he purchased the appliance, under the conditions and within the terms provided for by these regulations.

Under this warranty, the appliance is covered by the conventional warranty for a period of two years from the date of purchase by the first user.

It is up to the consumer - through a delivery document issued by the retailer (or by Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. itself, in the case of a purchase made by the consumer directly in the online shop of the latter) or by another evidentiary document (for example, tax receipt, cash receipt or similar, purchase order, etc.), which shows the name of the retailer and the date on which the sale was made - to demonstrate that this warranty is still valid at the time of filing the complaint of defect of the appliance.

In the event of a defect in the appliance, pursuant to this warranty, the consumer may highlight this defect by contacting the appliance dealer or by contacting Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. directly at the e-mail address [e-mail], or at the telephone number [phone].

Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. guarantees the free repair or replacement of the appliance and/or its components that have defects due to ascertained causes of manufacture and/or malfunctions, directly or through affiliated service centres (check any contacts on the Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. website:

www.tognana.com). Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. reserves the right to completely replace the appliance, if repairability is impossible or too expensive, with another identical or similar appliance (or one that has functional and aesthetic characteristics similar to those of the purchased appliance), without the consumer being able, in this second hypothesis, to contest the choice made by Tognana Porcellane S.p.A.

The consumer, in the presentation of the complaint, in addition to specifying the defect found, also providing photographic documentation, if indispensable for the purpose of ascertaining the defect of the appliance, must communicate their personal data - name and surname, residence address, email and telephone number - for each subsequent contact. For the successful replacement or repair of the appliance, the consumer will in any case be required to follow the instructions provided in this regard by the employees of Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. or the service centre in charge.

All costs of repair and delivery of the replacement appliance or defect-free components will be entirely borne by Tognana Porcellane S.p.A., which will also bear the costs of returning the defective appliance or component, if expressly requested by the consumer.

It should be noted that, following the replacement or repair of the appliance, the effective date of this warranty remains that of the first purchase: therefore, the service performed under the warranty does not extend the period of its validity.

For the purposes of the effectiveness of this warranty, it is specified that: the appliance has been designed and built for exclusively domestic use, consequently terminating this warranty for any other different use. In addition, the appliance can never be considered defective if it has to be adapted or modified to comply with national or local safety and/or technical standards, in force in the consumer's country, if outside the European Union.

In any case, this warranty does not cover:

• parts subject to wear and tear, nor those that require periodic replacement and/or maintenance;
• negligence or carelessness in the use of the appliance (e.g. failure to comply with the operating instructions of the appliance);
• professional use of the appliance;
• defects due to incorrect installation, configuration, updating of software/BIOS/firmware not performed by authorized personnel Tognana Porcellane S.p.A;
• repairs or interventions carried out by personnel not authorised by Tognana Porcellane S.p.A.;
• manipulations of components of the appliance or, where applicable, of the software;
• other circumstances that, in any case, cannot be traced back to manufacturing defects in the appliance.
  Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. declines all responsibility for any damage that may, directly or indirectly, result to people, property and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the requirements indicated in the specific instruction booklet and concerning especially the warnings regarding installation, use and maintenance of the device.
  Further claims, in particular if they relate to claims, are excluded, unless the liability arises from express provision of law. At the end of the period of validity of this warranty, or for goods that are not covered by it, Tognana Porcellane S.p.A. remains available to the customer for any questions or information. 1. Pritisnite gumb za otključavanje (5), zatim pritisnite pomični dio prema dolje i čvrsto ga zaključajte.
2. Stavite poklopac na posudu (2).
3. Priključite uređaj u utičnicu.
4. Uključite uređaj pomoću gumba za odabir (6) kako biste odabrali željenu brzinu.
5. Nakon uporabe okrenite kontrolni gumb (6) na brzinu „0”.
6. Pritisnite gumb za otključavanje (5) i podignite pomični dio, a zatim rastavite pribor tako da ga pritisnete prema gore i zaokrenete u smjeru kazaljke na satu.

1. Pritisnite gumb za odklepanje (5), nato pritisnite premični del navzdol in ga varno zaklenite.
2. Postavite pokrov na posodo (2).
3. Napravo priključite v vtičnico.
4. Vklopite napravo z gumbom za izbiro (6), da izberete želeno hitrost.
5. Po uporabi obrnite upravljalni gumb (6) na hitrost "0".

SIGURNOST PROIZVODA

VAŽNE NAPOMENE O ISPRAVNOJ UPOTREBI

1. Ovaj uređaj namijenjen je isključivo za preradu hrane za potrošnju u kućanstvu.

2. Ovaj uređaj je namijenjen za kućnu upotrebu i slične primjene, kao što su:
   * kuhinjski prostori za osoblje u prodavnicama, kancelarijama i drugim radnim mjestima;
   *u agroturizmu;
   * korisnicima hotela, pansiona i drugih stambenih sredina;
   * u sredinama "noćenje s doručkom".

3. Ovaj proizvod nije igračka.

4. Ne ostavljajte dijelove ambalaže (plastične kesice, ekspandirani polistiren i sl.) u dohvatu djece i osoba jer su ti predmeti potencijalni izvori opasnosti (npr. opasnost od gušenja).

5. Upotrebljavajte proizvod samo u svrhu za koju je osmišljen. Proizvođač nije odgovoran za štetu ili ozljede uzrokovane nepravilnom upotrebom.

OPASNOST

PROIZVOD

1. Prije spajanja uređaja na električnu mrežu provjerite odgovara li napon na uređaju naponu u vašem domu. Uključite uređaj u utičnicu sa efikasnim uzemljenjem. Proizvođač se ne može smatrati odgovornim za nezgode uzrokovane neuzemljenjem sistema.

2. Aparat mogu da koriste djeca starosti od najmanje 8 godina i osobe sa smanjenim fizičkim, senzornim ili mentalnim sposobnostima ili nedostatkom iskustva ili znanja, pod uslovom da su pod nadzorom ili upućeni u sigurno korištenje aparata i da razumiju moguće opasnosti. Djeca se ne smiju igrati s uređajem. Čišćenje i održavanje koje obavlja korisnik ne smiju obavljati djeca bez nadzora odrasle osobe.

3. Nadgledajte djecu da se ne bi igrala s uređajem.

4. Nemojte koristiti uređaj sa praznom posudom da biste izbjegli oštećivanje grijaćih elemenata i pregrijavanje.

5. Isključite uređaj iz utičnice kada nije u funkciji.

6. Ne blokirajte ventilacione rešetke metalnim alatima, jer to može uzrokovati požar ili strujni udar.

7. Prije nego što uključite uređaj, provjerite je li prekidač za napajanje u položaju "0" (isključeno) i da su svi dodaci ispravno pričvršćeni.

12. Ovaj proizvod ne sadrži dijelove koji se mogu servisirati. Ne pokušavajte sami popraviti uređaj ako je pao ili je oštećen na neki način. Održavanje neka obavlja kvalifikovani servisni centar upotrebljavajući samo identične rezervne dijelove. Time će se osigurati održana sigurnost proizvoda.

13. Nemojte upotrebljavati uređaj na visokoj temperaturi, veoma vlažnom, mokrom okruženju ili u blizini zapaljivog materijala.

14. Ne koristite metalne alate za čišćenje uređaja. Dijelovi se mogu odvojiti od ležaja i dodirnuti električne dijelove, uzrokujući opasnost

od strujnog udara.

1. Ne stavljajte papir, karton, plastiku i slično u uređaj.

2. Nemojte upotrebljavati uređaj dulje od 10 minuta neprekidno. Pričekajte 10 minuta prije nego nastavite s drugim radnim ciklusom. Da biste izbjegli pregrijavanje, pričekajte da se uređaj potpuno ohladi.

KABL I UTIKAČ

1. Kabl za napajanje mora biti priključen na AC utičnicu (standardna kućna struja). Nemojte upotrebljavati druge električne utičnice.
2. U slučaju nekompatibilnosti između utičnice i utikača, kvalifikovani stručnjak mora zamijeniti utičnicu drugom odgovarajućeg tipa. Ne preporučuje se upotreba adaptera, višestrukih utičnica i/ili produžnih kablova. Ako je njihova upotreba neophodna, upotrebljavajte samo jedan ili više adaptera i produžnih kablova koji su u skladu sa trenutnim sigurnosnim standardima, vodeći računa da ne prekoračite ograničenje snage označeno na adapteru i/ili produžnom kablu.
3. Nemojte upotrebljavati kabl za napajanje ako je oštećen.
4. Upotrebljavajte samo kabl za napajanje koji se nalazi u ambalaži.
5. Da biste izbjegli strujni udar, nemojte uranjati kabl za napajanje u vodu ili bilo koju drugu tečnost.
6. Kabl za napajanje mora se upotrebljavati na suvom i čistom mjestu. Korištenje u mokrim ili prljavim okruženjima može dovesti do rizika od požara ili strujnog udara.
7. Ne dirajte kabl ili utikač mokrim rukama.
8. Ne dozvolite da kabl visi ili padne sa radne površine.
9. Pazite da ne povučete ili ne pogazite kabl za napajanje. Držite kabl dalje od izvora toplote, vrućih predmeta ili otvorenog plamena.
10. Tokom rada, utičnica mora biti lako dostupna ako se uređaj mora isključiti.
11. Isključite kabl za napajanje prije čišćenja i kada uređaj nije u upotrebi. Isključite uređaj, a izvucite utikač iz utičnice. Ne povlačite kabl, već držite utikač rukom prilikom isključivanja.
12. Uvijek prvo spojite utikač na uređaj, a zatim uključite kabl u utičnicu. Provjerite da li je kabl potpuno rastegnut.
13. Kabl ne smije biti uvrnut ili omotan oko uređaja.
14. Nemojte upotrebljavati uređaj ako je kabl za napajanje oštećen. Ne pokušavajte sami da ga popravite. Kontaktirajte servisera za popravku/zamjenu ukoliko je proizvod pod garancijom ili korisničku

podršku.

1. Nemojte upotrebljavati produžne kablove ili uređaje s tajmerom.

1. Pritisnite dugme za otključavanje (5), zatim pritisnite pokretni dio i čvrsto ga zaključajte.
2. Stavite poklopac na posudu (2).
3. Priključite uređaj na strujnu utičnicu.
4. Uključite uređaj pomoću dugmeta za odabir (6) da biste odabrali željenu brzinu.
5. Nakon upotrebe, okrenite dugme za odabir (6) na brzinu "0".
6. Pritisnite dugme za otključavanje (5) i podignite pokretni dio, zatim rastavite dodatak tako što ćete ga pritisnuti prema gore i okrenuti ga u smjeru kazaljke na satu.

1. Pritisnite dugme za otključavanje (5), a zatim pritisnite pokretni deo prema dolje i čvrsto ga zaključajte.
2. Stavite poklopac na posudu (2).
