Safety Instructions

Please, take time to read well the instruction sheet before the first use and keep them for a future use.

A misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed. We refuse any responsibilities as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

1. Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
2. The safety instructions do not by themselves eliminate any danger completely and proper accident prevention measures must always be used.
3. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard(*).

5. Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.

6. Never immerse the base of your appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
7. Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
8. Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power supply.
9. Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
10. Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
11. Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
12. Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
13. Unplug the appliance when not in use.

14. This kind of appliance cannot function continuously, it is not a professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary stops.

15. It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.

16. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
17. Never touch the movable part with your hands in order not to get hurt. Do not force the mechanism by squeezing the fruits you are pressing too much.
18. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer or separate remote control system.
19. Keep this manual with the appliance. If the appliance is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be supplied with it.
20. Children shall not play with the appliance.
21. This appliance shall not be used by children.

22. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

23. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

24. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

26. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:

27. staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments

28. farm houses

29. by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
    • bed and breakfast type environments

30. This unit is equipped with a safety device, which prevents the extractor from running if the release button is not put in the right position.

31. Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food or oil thanks to refer to the below paragraph "cleaning" in manual.
32. Regarding the instructions for the use of accessories, operation times and speed settings, thanks to refer to the below

paragraphs.

1. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

2. Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve or the protecting cover is damaged or has visible cracks.

3. Accessories, other than those supplier with the appliance, include instructions for their safe use.

4. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

5. Never feed food by other object except pusher.

(*) Competent qualified electrician: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this electrician.

Maximum operating time: Do not leave the appliance running continuously for more than 1 minute, then stop it for 1 minute.

Power consumption in standby mode: 0.11W. Standby mode activates automatically after 20 minutes of operation.

Assembly and disassembly: figure 1

Fit the pulp/juice extractor onto the motor base. Place the pulp tank at the rear of the unit. . Insert the filter into the pulp extractor, and press the cover firmly into place. Push the locking bar into the notches on the lid, holding it in place. Place the pouring spout of the juice reservoir under the juice outlet of the extractor. Proceed in reverse order to dismantle the unit.

Use of the device

This device is suitable for celery, spinach, carrots, apples, bananas, tomatoes, cucumbers and all fruit and vegetable juices except those containing starch. Do not use to extract sugar cane juice.

Clean fruit and vegetables thoroughly and cut into small pieces after removing pits and seeds. Plug in the appliance and set the knob to 1 or 2 to press the fruit or vegetable (1 slow speed for hard fruit and vegetables, 2 for soft fruit and vegetables).

Press the pusher slowly until all the fruit or vegetables have passed through the feeding tube.

To activate maximum speed, briefly press the pulse button.

Caution: do not put your hand or any other object into the feeding tube during operation.

Fruit and/or vegetable juices will flow directly into the juice and pulp tanks.

After use, be sure to turn the on/off switch to position O. Unplug the appliance.

Tips :

Remove all hard, inedible skins (melons, pineapples and mangoes); if citrus fruit is used, remove the skin. Introduce food at regular intervals so that the pulp can be extracted.

Only centrifuge nuts with moist food. Always choose fresh, ripe fruit and vegetables. Fresh fruit and vegetables always have more flavor and juice. Consume your juices freshly extracted, as they are better assimilated and contain the most nutrients.

Cleaning and maintenance

Unplug the unit before cleaning. Disassemble the unit. Do not use brushes or other abrasive objects or liquids. Filter, tanks, pusher, lid and extractor are dishwasher-safe.

Wipe the base with a soft cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.

Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

(Applicable in the European Union and the rest of Europe that have adopted separate collection systems countries). The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collection. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
