How do I access the router's web management page?

Enter http://tplinkmodem.net or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of a web browser. Use the default username and password (usually admin for both) or create a new password on first login.

What should I do if I cannot access the Internet after installation?

Check that your SIM card is 5G/4G compatible, is within your ISP's service area, and has credit. Make sure the Internet LED is on. Log in to the management page and check the APN settings, PIN code, data limit, and enable mobile data.

How do I restore factory default settings?

With the router powered on, press and hold the RESET button on the back for about 5 seconds until the power LED blinks. The router will automatically restart with factory settings.

What should I do if I forgot the WiFi password?

The default WiFi password is printed on the label on the bottom of the router. If it has been changed, log in to the web management page (using the admin password) and find it in the wireless settings, or reset it.

What should I do if I forgot the admin password for the management page?

You need to restore the router to factory settings using the RESET button (see previous question). After that, use the default credentials (admin/admin) or create a new password on login.

How do I customize the router settings?

Log in to the web management page via tplinkmodem.net. Follow the quick setup wizard or manually change settings like SSID, WiFi password, 5G options, parental controls, etc. You can also use the TP-Link Tether app.

Can the router be used without a SIM card?

Yes, the router has a WAN/LAN Ethernet port. In wired router mode, you can connect it via Ethernet cable to a modem or network outlet for a wired Internet connection.

How can I improve WiFi coverage?

Place the router in a central, elevated location away from obstacles. Avoid interference from electronic devices. You can also adjust WiFi channels in the settings or enable the 5 GHz band for higher speed.

What are the LED indicators and their meanings?

The power LED (PWR) is on during normal operation. The Internet LED (5G/4G) indicates mobile connection status: solid = connected, blinking = searching, off = no connection. The WiFi and LAN LEDs are on when devices are connected.

Customize the 5G/4G+ Router

1 Make sure your computer is connected to the router (via wired or wireless).
2 Enter http://tplinkmodem.net or http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar of a web browser. Based on the actual web management login page: use the default admin for both username and password or create a new password to log in.
3 Follow the step-by-step instructions on the Quick Setup page to complete the initial configuration.

Q1. What should I do if I cannot access the web management page?

• Verify that the computer is set to obtain an IP address automatically from the router.

• Disable and then enable the active network adapter and try again.

2 Verify if the total used data exceeds the total allowance. If it does, correct the total allowance and set the total used data to 0, or disable the data limit.

- Check the Mobile Data:

1 Open a web browser and log in to the web management page.
2 Enable the mobile data to access the internet.
