NOTE: The Speed Control Lever can be set to obtain speeds 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 if a f adjustment is required. To move the Speed Control Lever with ease, lift up slightly as it across the settings in either direction.

IMPORTANT: Do not exceed Speed 2 when preparing yeast doughs as this may cause damage to the Stand Mixer.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the Stand Mixer off (0) and unplug.
  2. Unlock and lift the Motor Head. Then, lock the head to keep it lifted.
  3. Place the Bowl on the Clamping Plate and twist clockwise (right) to lock in place.
  4. Slide the accessory over the shaft, aligning with the pin, then rotate clockwise (right) to hook it over the pin on the shaft.
  5. Unlock the Motor Head and move it down. Then, lock the head to keep it down. E mixing, test lock by attempting to raise the Motor Head.

(OPTIONAL) To adjust Beater to Bowl Clearance: Tilt back and lock the Motor Hold. Locate the screw revealed under the Motor Head. Turn the screw slightly counterclo (left) to raise beater, or clockwise (right) to lower it.

NOTE: If you overadjust the screw, the Locking Lever may not lock into place.

  1. Plug it into a grounded 3 prong outlet. Start with lower speed to avoid splashing, an increase speed gradually. Refer to the "Speed Control Guide" section.

Injury Hazard

Unplug mixer before touching beaters.

Failure to do so can result in broken bones, cuts, or bruises.

  1. Do not scrape the Bowl while operating. Scraping the Bowl once or twice during m usually sufficient.

PRODUCT DISASSEMBLY

  1. Turn the Stand Mixer off (0) and unplug.
  2. Unlock and lift the Motor Head. Then, lock the head to keep it lifted.

  3. Press the accessory upward, turn it and pull it away from the Beater Shaft.

  4. Twist to unlock the Bowl from the Clamping Plate.

CARE AND CLEANING

IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the Stand Mixer body in water or other liquids. Allow the appliance to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

  1. Turn the Stand Mixer off (0) and unplug.
  2. Dishwasher-safe parts, top rack only: Stainless Steel Flat*, Be stainless Steel Pastry Beater*, Stainless Steel Wire Whip and Stainless Steel Dough Hookr, clean them thoroughly in hot sudsy water and rinse completely before drying. Do not store beaters on shaft.

NOTE: Stainless Steel accessories are dishwasher-safe.

  1. Wipe the Stand Mixer body with a soft, damp cloth.

CLEANING THE WALNUT WOOD BOWL

Before first use, wash with warm soapy water.

IMPORTANT: Do not wash the Wood Bowl in the dishwasher. Wood Bowl is hand washable only.

Walnut Wood Bowl Care:

Interior and Exterior: Clean the Bowl only by handwashing after each use, and dry it immediately. Do not leave the Bowl submerged in water for long periods of time. Use only gentle, non-abrasive detergents and avoid using steel scouring pads. For best care, regularly season Bowl after each use with food-safe mineral oil, manufactured food safe wood polish, or walnut oil. Wood is a natural material that shows signs of wear as you use it; marks won't affect its usage.

IMPORTANT:

■ Scrubbing too hard may scratch the Wood Bowl's finish.
■ Avoid harsh or abrasive detergents.
■ Do not use steel wool or steel scouring pads.
