Operating and Safety Instructions

FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

When using this or any other electrical product, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury, and property damage, please note the following:

  • The griddle is not intended for use by children. Keep it out of their reach and exercise extra caution when using it near children.
  • The griddle is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial household use for cooking food intended for human consumption. Do not use it outdoors or for any other purpose.
  • Before each use, examine the griddle and power cord for any signs of damage or wear. Do not use the griddle if you notice frayed wires, cracks, or other damage, as this could pose a risk of electric shock or fire.
  • Do not attempt to repair electrical or mechanical issues yourself. Refer to the Warranty Policy on Page 7 for guidance.
  • Place the griddle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep the griddle away from materials and surfaces that could catch fire, such as paper, cloth, or other flammable items.
  • Use the griddle in a well-ventilated area and maintain at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides for adequate air circulation.
  • Ensure the electrical outlet voltage matches the voltage specified on the griddle's rating label.
    • Do not overload the electrical outlet or extension cord.
  • Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet before turning on the griddle.
  • Never plug in or unplug the griddle with wet hands.
  • Prevent the power cord from touching hot surfaces or hanging off the edge of the counter.
  • Upon initial use, a smoky smell may occur as protective coatings or films on the griddle's parts burn off. This process is normal and ensures proper product function and safety.
  • Avoid exceeding the maximum temperature setting to prevent fire hazards or damage to the griddle.
  • Always supervise the griddle while it is in operation and never leave it unattended.
    • Use handles and protective oven mitts to avoid touching hot surfaces.
    • Wait until the griddle has completely cooled before attempting to move it.
  • Ensure that the drip tray is correctly positioned when using the griddle and check it frequently to prevent overflow during use.

- Use only heat-resistant utensils made of wood, silicone, or plastic; metal utensils can damage the griddle's surface.

• After cooking, turn off and unplug the griddle before cleaning.

- Allow the griddle to cool completely before cleaning; never immerse it or its electrical components in water or expose them to liquids, especially while the oil is hot.

- Store the griddle and its components in a dry place when not in use, ensuring all parts are completely dry to prevent rust or corrosion.

- Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the griddle manufacturer.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Using an extension cord with the product is not recommended. However, if one must be used:

- The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as that of the product.

- Arrange the extension cord so that it does not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a 3-prong grounding plug as a safety feature. The plug will fit into an outlet in only one orientation. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord, and the extension cord must be a 3-wire grounding-type cord. Do not attempt to bypass the safety purpose of the plug.
