This digital equipment fulfills the requirements for RF emission according to the Class A limit of AS/NZS CISPR 32. Japan
This product complies with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 ed. 3, safety of audio/video and IT equipment for outdoor use.
The product shall be grounded either through a shielded network cable (STP) or other appropriate method.
The power supply used with this product shall have a rated output voltage within voltage range of 10-28 VDC, and a max current rating of 3.5 A.
The power supply used with this product shall fulfill one of the following requirements:
- Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) according to CEC/NEC Class 2 source of supply as defined in the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1 and National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70
- Class 1 electrical energy source (ES1) and Class 2 power source (PS2) rated output power t limited to ≤100 W according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1
We recommend the use of AXIS T8007 PS24 power supply, 24 VDC 1.5 A.
When used with Power over Ethernet (PoE), the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) shall comply with IEEE 802.3at/802.3bt and Limited Power Source (LPS)
taccording to annex Q of IEC/EN/UL 62368-1.
When PoE out is used to power a second device, the midspan or switch used shall comply with IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 Class 6.
'Photobiological safety
This product fulfills the requirements for photobiological safety according to IEC/EN 62471 (risk group 1).
Disposal and recycling

Safety instructions
CAUTION

IR is emitted from this product. It can be awful to the eyes. Avoid eye exposure. Use ding or eye protection.
NNOOTT
- The Axis product shall be used in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• This product is for professional use.
• Install this product at a safe distance from children. - Store the Axis product in a dry and ventilated environment.
- Avoid exposing the Axis product to shocks or heavy pressure.
- Do not install the product on unstable poles, brackets, surfaces or walls.
- Use only applicable tools when installing the
Axis product. Using excessive force with power tools could cause damage to the product.
- Use a soft cloth dampened with pure lukewarm water to clean the device.
- Don't use chemicals such as window cleaner or acetone to clean your device.
- Use only accessories that comply with the technical specification of your product. These can be provided by Axis or a third party. Axis recommends using Axis power source equipment compatible with your product.
- Use only spare parts provided by or recommended by Axis.
- Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact Axis support or your Axis reseller for service matters.
- The power supply shall be plugged in to a socket outlet installed near the product and shall be easily accessible.
- Use a limited power source (LPS) with a rated output power limited to ≤ 100 W and a rated output current limited to ≤ 5 A.
Transportation
NN00TT
- When transporting the Axis product, use the original packaging or equivalent to prevent damage to the product.
Battery
The Axis product uses a 3.0 V BR/CR2032 lithium battery as the power supply for its internal real-time clock (RTC). Under normal conditions this battery will last for a minimum of five years.
Low battery power affects the operation of the RTC, causing it to reset at every power-up. When the battery needs replacing, a log message will appear in the product's server report. For more information about the server report, see the product's web page or contact Axis support.
WARNING
- Risk of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced.
- The battery should be replaced with an identical battery only.
- Used batteries should be disposed of according to local regulations or the battery manufacturer's instructions.
Lithium coin cell 3.0 V batteries contain 1,2-dimethoxyethane; ethylene glycol dimethyl ether (EGDME), CAS no. 110-71-4.
Dome or front glass
NN00TT
- Be careful not to scratch, damage or leave fingerprints on the dome or front glass since this can decrease image quality. Keep the
protective plastic on until the installation is complete.
- Don't clean a dome or front glass that looks clean to the eye, and never polish the surface. Excessive cleaning can damage the surface.
- Never use harsh detergents, gasoline, benzene, acetone, or similar chemicals.
- For general cleaning of the dome or front glass it is recommended to use a non-abrasive, solvent-free neutral soap or detergent mixed with pure water and a soft, clean cloth. Rinse well with pure lukewarm water. Dry with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spotting.
- Avoid cleaning the dome or front glass in direct sunlight or at elevated temperatures, since this can cause stains.
