Operating and Safety Instructions

FOR INDOOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY

When using this or any other electrical product, always follow these basic safety precautions, especially when children are present.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious personal injury, and property damage, please note the following:

  • The fryer is not intended for use by children. Keep it out of their reach and exercise extra caution when using it near children.
  • The fryer is intended solely for non-commercial, non-industrial household use for cooking food intended for human consumption. Do not use it outdoors or for any other purpose.
  • Before each use, examine the fryer and power cord for any signs of damage or wear. Do not use the fryer if you notice frayed wires, cracks, or other damage, as this could pose a risk of electric shock or fire.
  • Do not attempt to repair electrical or mechanical issues yourself. Refer to the Warranty Policy on Page 7 for guidance.
  • Place the fryer on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep the fryer away from materials and surfaces that could catch fire, such as paper, cloth, or other flammable items.
  • Use the fryer in a well-ventilated area and maintain at least 4-6 inches of space on all sides for adequate air circulation.
  • Ensure the electrical outlet voltage matches the voltage specified on the fryer's rating label.
  • Do not overload the electrical outlet or extension cord.
Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet before turning on the fryer.
  • Never plug in or unplug the fryer with wet hands.
  • Prevent the power cord from touching hot surfaces or hanging off the edge of the counter.
  • Upon initial use, a smoky smell may occur as protective coatings or films on the fryer's parts burn off. This process is normal and ensures proper product function and safety.
  • Avoid exceeding the maximum temperature setting to prevent fire hazards or damage to the fryer.
  • Always supervise the fryer while it is in operation and never leave it unattended.
  • Use handles and protective oven mitts to avoid touching hot surfaces.
Wait until the fryer has completely cooled before attempting to move it.
  • Do not overfill the fryer with oil.

  • Use only oils suitable for deep frying, as oils with lower smoke points can pose risks if used improperly.

  • Handle hot oil with care and avoid skin contact.
  • Regularly check the quality of the oil, as degraded oil can produce harmful fumes and reduce frying efficiency.
  • Dispose of used oil according to local regulations; do not pour it down sinks or toilets to prevent blockages and environmental harm.
  • Ensure food is dry before placing it in the fryer to prevent oil splatters and potential burns or fires.
  • Avoid overcrowding the fryer basket to maintain oil temperature.
  • Use only heat-resistant utensils made of wood, silicone, or plastic; metal utensils can damage the fryer's surface.
After cooking, turn off and unplug the fryer before cleaning.
  • Allow the fryer to cool completely before cleaning; never immerse it or its electrical components in water or expose them to liquids, especially while the oil is hot.
  • Store the fryer and its components in a dry place when not in use, ensuring all parts are completely dry to prevent rust or corrosion.
  • Do not use attachments not recommended or sold by the fryer manufacturer.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Using an extension cord with the product is not recommended. However, if one must be used:

  • The marked electrical rating of the extension cord must be at least as great as that of the product.
  • Arrange the extension cord so that it does not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.

WARNING: The product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) to reduce the risk of electrical shock, which is a safety feature. The plug is designed to fit into a polarized outlet in only one direction. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, try reversing it. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug or attempt to bypass its safety features.

NOTE: The oil pot, frying basket and lid can be washed in the dishwasher.

c. Pull the handle toward the basket wall until it clicks into place.

NOTE: To remove the frying basket, follow the same steps in reverse.

  1. Assemble the parts of the fryer and place it on a stable, flat surface in a well-ventilated area. Ensure it is positioned away from any combustible materials and that there is ample space around the fryer for proper air circulation.
  2. Turn the adjustable temperature gauge to the OFF position. Then, plug the power cord into the outlet. The red control lamp will turn on.

USING THE DEEP FRYER

  1. Open the lid and fill the oil pot with oil, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum fill line (3 liters).

  1. Set the desired temperature by turning the thermostat. The green control lamp will turn on. Once the set temperature has been reached, the green control lamp will turn off.

NOTE: The green control lamp will turn on and off several times during the frying process. This is normal and indicates that the thermostat is controlling and maintaining the temperature.

NOTE: If it is the first use, you may want to run the fryer without food to burn off any residual manufacturing coatings or odors. This should be done in a well-ventilated area.

IMPORTANT: If you accidentally turn on the fryer with no oil, or if the temperature becomes too high during frying, the overheating protection switch will activate automatically. If this occurs, unplug the product immediately and do not use it until it has cooled down. Once the fryer has cooled down completely, press the restart button on the rear of the control element to restart the fryer.

  1. Lift the frying basket and add the food to the fryer. Carefully lower the food into the hot oil.

NOTE: Do not overcrowd the fryer, as this can lower the oil temperature and lead to uneven cooking.

  3. Let the fryer cool down completely before attempting to handle or clean it. This may take some time, depending on the amount of oil and the temperature at which it was used.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINING THE DEEP FRYER

  1. Once the fryer has cooled down, carefully remove the oil pot and drain any excess oil.
