BEACH POP-UP TENT MODEL PT-02

Thank you for choosing to purchase a product from Active Era. Please read the entire manual carefully prior to first use and keep in a safe place for future reference.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Be aware your tent may catch fire easily. Do not place cooking, heating or lighting appliances near the tent.

WARNING: Do not light a fire near the tent and be aware of the direction the wind is blowing in so that cinders or ash do not blow towards the tent.

WARNING: Do not smoke inside your tent.

WARNING: Carbon Monoxide can kill. Do not store gas canisters or refill fuel containers inside your tent.

WARNING: Be careful when removing your tent from its bag – it is spring loaded and will take form immediately.

WARNING: Keep away from fire and overhead power lines. Keep all flame and heat sources away from this tent.

WARNING: Do not use any stoves, heaters or lanterns that use combustible fuels (e.g. gas, petrol).

  • Use this product only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injury to persons.
    • Adult assembly is required.
  • Never let children fold or unfold the tent.
  • Never use this tent as shelter during a thunderstorm.
  • Only use this tent on level ground, clear of any stones, branches and sharp objects.
  • Discontinue use if any part of the tent frame becomes bent or broken.
  • Do not set up this tent under trees. There is potential that lightning could strike or tree limbs could fall in stormy weather.

SETTING UP TENT

  1. Before set up, ensure you are in an open area (preferably flat with no sharp objects that could damage the tent. You will need an area of at least 2m x 2m.
  2. Remove the tent from the storage bag.
  3. Your tent will automatically open.
  4. Secure your tent using the metal pegs.

FOLD AWAY

To fold away follow the diagram and instructions printed on the inside of the carry bag.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Always ensure your tent is stored in a dry place when not in use. Do not store when damp or wet as this may cause odours and mould growth. Always make sure the tent is dry before storing.
  • Clean your tent with water only. For persistent stains use mild soaps made for tent fabric.
  • Before packing away your tent, clean off any mud and grass.
  • Always dry your tent and accessories before packing and long-term storage. Do not store your tent when it is wet as mildew can form on the fabric and rust can form on the metal components.

UV PROTECTION

This tent features a special silver fabric liner that gives full protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays.

GENERAL ADVICE

  • Practice pitching and dismantling your new tent before use to familiarise yourself with the design.
  • Pitch your tent on level ground where possible. If you do have to pitch on a slope, locate the doorway downhill to prevent rain entering your tent.
    • Children should pitch tent under adult supervision.
  • It is recommended that you peg the tent down with a mallet so that it is secure and stable.

RECYCLING & DISPOSAL

The packaging of your new product has a recycle mark on it. Please dispose of it as recycled plastic. This is to prevent the possible harm to the environment and human well-being. Contact your local council or government for information regarding the collection schemes in your area.
