The QuickBurst™ button (Quick Burst button) provides extra power at any speed. Do not use it for more than 2 minutes continuously to avoid motor overheating.

How to clean the Hamilton Beach 62629 hand mixer?

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Wipe the housing with a damp cloth or sponge, then dry. Never immerse the mixer, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.

Which beaters to use for heavy preparations?

Use the included classic beaters, designed for general and heavy use (cookie doughs, mashed potatoes, etc.).

Can I use an extension cord?

Yes, if the cord is too short. Use an approved extension cord with electrical ratings equal to or greater than the appliance's (120 V ~ 60 Hz). Position it so that a child cannot pull it or trip over it.

How to insert and remove the beaters?

Make sure the mixer is unplugged and in the OFF (○) position. Insert the beaters into the openings under the appliance, pushing until they click. To remove, push the speed control button down (eject position).

Which speed to use for beating egg whites?

Speed 5 is recommended for beating egg whites and speed 6 for whipped cream. Always start at speed 1 and increase gradually.

How to use the bowl rest?

Unplug the mixer, then rest it on the bowl rim to add ingredients or check the recipe. Never use the bowl rest when the mixer is running and do not use it on small or plastic bowls.

Bowl Rest™

Use the Bowl Rest while adding ingredients or checking a recipe. To use, TURN MIXER OFF; then set the mixer on the edge of the bowl.

Never use Bowl Rest when mixer is on.

Do not use Bowl Rest on small or plastic mixing bowls.

General Mixing Guide

The following mixing guide is a suggestion for selecting mixing speeds for 6-speed mixers. Begin on speed 1 and increase to desired speed depending on the recipe consistency.

Cookie Dough Mixing Guide

• Use a large mixing bowl so that the ingredients spread out for easier mixing.
• Butter and margarine should be at room temperature.
• Add flour 1 cup (237 ml) at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
• Chips and nuts should be stirred by hand.

This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other warranty or condition.

This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase in Canada and one (1) year from the date of original purchase in the U.S. During this period, your exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of this product or any component found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all costs associated with returning the product to us and our returning a product or component under this warranty to you. If the product or component is no longer available, we will replace with a similar one of equal or greater value.

This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse.
