Check if the product and the components are intact and if the appliance is working properly when using it for the first time Remove the appliance out of the packaging and connect it to a properly installed earthed socket.

Wipe the surface of the appliance using a slightly dampened cloth. To remove any manufacturing residues, wipe the water tank once thoroughly before using it for the first time.

Do not operate the appliance unattended and check it for damage and proper assembly before using it each time.

6. Usage

Making ice cubes

  • Open the lid of the appliance and remove the ice-collector.
  • Fill the ice cube maker now with water. Ensure that you do not exceed the maximum mark. Use only drinking water without additives for making ice cubes.

Note: As far as possible, use water with a temperature of 8^ C to 25^ C.

Then replace the ice collector and close the lid of the appliance.

- Then press the "ON/OFF" button to start the appliance. The freezing process takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Note: Due to the rapid freezing process, it may happen that the ice cubes appear slightly milky. The air trapped in the water can get into the ice cube. However, the air does not affect the quality of the ice cube.

The appliance pauses automatically when the collector is full (the LED "FULL ICE" lights up). The process continues if enough ice cubes are taken out or they melt. The ice cube maker stops when there is no water in the water tank. The "ADD WATER" LED lights up. You can stop the appliance manually by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. The "ON/OFF" LED stops glowing.

  • Stop the ice making cycle by pressing the "ON/OFF" button. Then disconnect the plug from the socket and allow the appliance to return to room temperature.
  • If water is still left in the freezer unit, press the ice tray back carefully so that all the water flows back into the water tank.
  • To drain excess water, place the appliance with the left side on an edge and place a bucket underneath, or place the appliance over the sink. Now open the drain on the left side of the appliance. Caution! Please note: Once the plug is removed, water flows out of the water tank!
  • Remove the ice collector.
  • Clean the inside of the appliance using a soft cloth dipped in warm water and vinegar. Then rinse it with clean water and allow it to dry completely.
  • Close the drain again. Wash the ice collector in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry it afterwards.
