- Please read the user manual completely before using the product for the first time.
- This manual contains important information for your safety as well as for using and maintaining the product.
- Keep the user manual for future reference and pass it on when giving the product to others.
- Note all the additional warnings on the product and in this user manual.
- Never carbonise anything other than normal water.
- During carbonation, a small amount of liquid could bubble up through the valves. If the water contains sugar or other compounds, the valves could malfunction and the product could
be potentially dangerous to use. Never add fruit slices, ice and flavouring agents to the water bottle. Use a jug or mix it directly into your glass. Rinse the water bottle carefully before you fill it with water.
- Do not add fruits, vegetables or herbs to the water bottle before carbonation.
- Do not add any flavours or syrup to the water bottle before carbonation.
- Wine should not be carbonated.
- Do not carbonate juice or milk.
- Do not add ice to the water bottle before carbonation.
- Never clean the water bottle in the dishwasher.

natural_image
Symbolic diagram with a black 'X' over a grid of circles and dashed lines, no readable text or labels- The water bottle is designed to withstand a pressure up to twice the operating pressure of the carbonator. However, this property is quickly destroyed if the bottle is exposed to temperatures over 40 degrees Celsius. Most dishwashers operate at very high temperatures, so the bottle should never be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Keep the carbonator away from potential sources of heat.
- According to the laws of physics, the pressure in the gas cylinder depends on the outside temperature. The carbonator is optimised for using the gas
cylinder at room temperature. If the cylinder becomes too hot, it could be dangerous to use the appliance.
- Do not place the carbonator in front of a sunny window.
- Do not place the carbonator near a hot radiator.
- Do not place the carbonator near an open flame.
- Do not use the carbonator in very hot conditions.
- Do not transport the carbonator with the gas cylinder attached.
- Always remove the gas cylinder during transport.
- Do not use the water bottle after the expiry date.
a
- After the expiry date, the plastic bottle may not be strong enough and it should be replaced with a new bottle for safety reasons.
- Never use a bottle that is deformed, discoloured or scratched.
- Never put the bottle in the freezer.
- Prevent bacteria and bad smell by keeping the bottle always clean and storing it without the cap screwed on.
- Never add gas to an empty water bottle.
- Using an empty water bottle can increase the pressure in the water bottle, which could result in a safety risk.
-
Keep the carbonator out of the reach of children.
-
Children are much too creative to use this product.
- Always use your carbonator in an up-right position.
- If you do not use the appliance up-right, dangerous amounts of CO2 may accumulate in the water bottle during carbonation.

"Carbonise" button Gas cylinder compartment Water bottle5. Installing the pressurised cylinder
Slide the pressurised cylinder into the compartment provided and tighten it.
Caution! Be careful when using gas cylinders! Gas cylinders are pressurised and can explode if heated! Therefore, please store them in a well-ventilated room!

Remove the mesh of the drip pan and then place the carbonator carefully on its side with the knob facing up.
Remove the plastic seal from the top of the gas cylinder. Guide the gas cylinder carefully through the hole at the bottom. Do not drop the cylinder into the hole. If you feel that it has reached the bottom, start turning the cylinder clockwise until it is fixed. Do not tighten too much as this could break the thread that holds the gas cylinder in place.
When replacing the gas cylinder, place the carbonator on its side with the knob facing up and remove it by turning counter-clockwise. Then take it out carefully from the compartment.

Rinse the water bottle with lukewarm water before using it for the first time. Fill the water bottle with cold, clean water up to the filling line that is marked. If you fill too much, there will be a lot of water in the drip pan during carbonation.
-
Screw the water bottle into the water bottle neck. If viewing from above, please screw it counter-clockwise. Do not tighten too much. just make sure that the water bottle is properly fixed.
-
Press the button down until you hear a sound from the valve.
-
Then release the button again. The residual pressure in the water bottle is released with a noise. Then unscrew the water bottle.
7. Carbon dioxide content
With the carbonator you can easily learn how to adjust the degree of carbonation or the desired quantity of carbon dioxide. The degree of carbonation depends on many factors such as water temperature and the amount of gas in the gas cylinder.
A sample for dispensing quantity:
Press 1 time: small quantity of carbon dioxide
Press 2 times: medium quantity of carbon dioxide
Press 3 times: large quantity of carbon dioxide
8. Cleaning and Care

Caution! Never use alcohol, acetone, benzene or any other aggressive cleaning agents to clean the plastic components. Do not use hard brushes or metallic objects. The appliance is not suitable for cleaning in dishwashers!

Symbolic diagram with a black 'X' over a grid of circles and stars, enclosed in a square frame (no text or labels)To clean the water bottle, use clean lukewarm water with a mild cleaning agent. If you are using a dish washing brush, make sure the brush is meant for cleaning plastic bottles and does not scratch the surface. Do not use solvents, strong cleaning agents or cleaning agents containing scouring substances.
Water that is flushed through the machine during carbonation ends up in the drip pan. This happens often if there is too much water in the water bottle. Make sure that the water is not filled above the filling line and empty the bottle regularly.
9. Troubleshooting
| Error Cause of error/ Troubleshooting | |
| No gas or too little gas comes out when the button is pressed | Check if the gas cylinder is emptyTry to tighten the cylinder a bit more and try again. Some old cylinders require this to be done.Make sure that you press the button down fully (without applying too much force). |
| When the button is pressed, gas enters the bottle but the water is not carbonated. | Try to tighten the cylinder a bit more.Something could be wrong with the gas cylinder seal. |
| Gas starts to enter the machine when tightening the cylinder even though the button is not pressed | There may be a leak between the cylinder and the machine. Try to tighten the cylinder a bit more.Something could be wrong with the gas cylinder seal. |
