3 Initial use

Open the battery compartment at the back of the weather station and insert the 2 1.5V AAA batteries into the battery slots and close the battery compartment again. You can also operate the device with a 4.5 V DC power adapter with coaxial connector. Plug the supplied power adapter to a properly connected power socket and to the projection alarm clock.

Note: The back light works only when used with a power adapter.

5 Additional functions

In normal mode, you can change between the date, alarm time and time using the "MODE" button. If you do not press any button for 8 seconds, the display automatically changes back to the time.

5.1 Time

Proceed as follows to set the time:

- Press the "MODE" button till the time is shown in the display.

  • Once the time is displayed, press and hold the "MODE" button till the time on the display starts to flash. The settings can be done using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons. Confirm using the "MODE" button. The sequence for setting the time is as follows: Hours -> Minutes.
  • Then press the "MODE" button to save the settings and to exit the menu.
  • Note: If you want to change between the 12 and 24 hour format, you have to press and hold the "UP" button for 3 seconds.

5.2 Calendar/date

  • Press the "MODE" button till the date is shown in the display.
  • Press and hold the "MODE" button till the date starts to flash. The settings can be done using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons. Confirm using the "MODE" button. The sequence for setting the date is as follows: Year -> Month -> Day.
  • Then press the "MODE" button to save the settings and to exit the menu.

5.3 Alarm

  • Press the "MODE" button till the alarm time is shown in the display.
  • Press and hold the "MODE" button till the alarm time starts to flash on the display. The settings can be done using the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons. Confirm using the "MODE" button. Press the "UP" button to switch the alarm on/off. The sequence for setting the alarm is as follows: Hours -> Minutes.

5.4 Temperature and humidity

- Press the "MAX/MIN" button to see the maximum temperature and humidity. Press the button again to see the minimum temperature and humidity. Pressing the button again displays the current values.

- Press the "DOWN" button to change between °C and °F.

5.5 Projection/Snooze/Light

  • Press the "Snooze/Light" button during the alarm to enable the "Snooze" function.
  • Press the "Snooze/Light" button to turn on the back light and the projector.
  • Note: The back light works only with mains power.
  • Move the "Focussing wheel" at the back of the projection arm to focus the projection.

6 Additional information

  • Replace the battery if the display becomes dim or the alarm sound is too low.
  • If you notice that the product does not contain batteries, then you should not use it.
  • If the LCD display does not show any image or it is faulty, try to remove and insert the battery again.
