3. Important tips

- Only for incandescent lamps and dimmable LEDs
The maximum switching power is 300 W
The device is suitable for indoor use only - Please plug the device into approved sockets only, not into extension cords
- Please do not connect in series
- Free of electrical current only when the plug is removed
- Use the device only in a dry condition
- Specified maximum electrical power may not be exceeded
- Please do not use for consumers with motor capacitor (e.g., refrigerator, etc.)

5. Functions
The Bearware dimmer socket allows you to adjust the brightness of light bulbs individually. The dimmer can be easily controlled using the remote control and works with almost all incandescent lamps and dimmable LEDs having a maximum power of up to 300 watts.
6. Initial use
Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging material. Connect the bulb or the dimmable LED whose brightness needs to be controlled using the dimmer to the device.
Then plug the dimmer into a properly installed earthed socket. Remove the plastic tab from the remote control before using the device.
7. Programming the remote control
- Connect the dimmer to the power socket.
- Bring the remote control close to the dimmer and press and hold the "ON/OFF/LEARNING" button on the dimmer until the status LED of the dimmer flashes slowly.
- Then press the desired ON button of the transmitter to pair the device.
- Once the device is successfully paired, the LED on the connected receiver flashes twice, the code is confirmed and the LED stops flashing. The device is now ready to be used.
8. Operation
Remote control
Please press the remote control ON button to switch on the device. Press and hold the remote control ON button until the desired brightness is reached. Press the remote control OFF button to switch off the device.
Controlling several devices with one remote control
You can control two different devices using the remote control. Connect the remote control to other wireless sockets for this purpose.
CAUTION! It is not advisable to program the ON/OFF receiver and dimmer receiver simultaneously to the same control button on the transmitter, or more than 1 dimmer receiver to the same control button. On the other hand, dimmer 1, for example, programmed to "1-ON" and "1-OFF" and dimmer 2 to "2-ON" and "2-OFF" is correct.
Clearing code memory
Press and hold the "ON/OFF/LEARNING" button until the LED flashes continuously. Then release the button and press it again. The LED on the connected receiver flashed twice to confirm.
9. Warranty
The manufacturer provides a warranty of two years for this product with regards to workmanship and material. Repairs should only be carried out by an authorized customer service centre. The original sales document should be enclosed as proof.
The following are excluded from warranty: normal wear and tear, modifications, reworks, damage caused by carelessness, external influences, applications for which the product was not designed or products dismantled completely or partially.
10. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never try to open the device to repair or make modifications. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof, hence please use it only in dry surroundings. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the product away from high temperatures.
Do not expose the device to sudden changes in temperature or strong vibrations, as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for any damage before using it. The product should not be used if it was subject to impact or has been damaged in some other manner. Please comply with the local regulations and restrictions. Do not use the product for purposes other than those described in the user manual. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally disabled persons.
Any repair or modification to the product, which is not carried out by the original supplier, will void any warranty and guarantee claims. The product should only be used by those who have read and understood this user manual. The specifications of the product may be changed without any special prior notification.
11. Disposal instructions
In line with the European WEEE directive, electrical and electronic products should not be disposed of along with domestic waste. Their components have to be separately sent for recycling or disposal, because improper disposal of toxic and dangerous components may permanently damage the environment.
